Neighborhood Overview: Flowers, music, shows, mimes and terraces define Las Ramblas, the most well-known street in Barcelona and an essential sight. La Rambla, is one of the main arteries of Barcelona and one of the best known places in the city. It is a pleasant 1.3 kilometer walk that connects Plaza Catalunya with the old port of the city. The Ramblas are always lively, full of street artists. The walkway has numerous pleasant terraces to sit and contemplate.
