  Comments: Era una habitación pequeña pero con el espacio suficiente para una persona. El baño y la cocina tal cual lo muestran en las fotos. La limpieza es un must. La ubicación es genial, en la esquina hay una parada de la línea G de subte. Hay varios lugares para comer y salir a beber cerca. Lo único que no sabía con antelación es que era un 4to piso; para mi no fue problema, pero creo que deberían comentarlo.

  Comments: Man oh man!! I don’t know where to start .. this place is amazing!!! As soon as I got off the train the house was right across the street .the key pad system was easy and simple to do and the apartment was so clean and stylish ! The highlight for me was the creativity of the bathroom despiser that is used for the soap and shampoo! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

  Comments: This place is a real find. Old historic brownstone right across from the subway and half a block from great bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. The host was awesome and made sure my stay was comfortable and responded to texts quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. Thanks for having! I’ll definitely stay again when in Brooklyn.

  Comments: I travel to Manhattan pretty regularly for business, but was on a pretty tight budget for this trip. I've stayed at some SCARY hotels that cost $300+ a night so needless to say I wasn't expecting much when I forked over $60 to stay at Reina's place. WOW was I wrong!! Of all the places I've stayed in NYC, this was my favorite. It was IMMACULATELY clean, the bed was comfortable, and in a fantastic location. I've always been terrified of the Subway, but this forced me out of my comfort zone and in 24 hours I felt like a pro. My only concern was after reading previous reviews, it was mentioned that the individual rooms didn't have locks. That is NOT the case now!! My room had it's own key, and I felt very safe leaving my laptop, and other work materials in the room. I never got to meet Reina, but thank you so much for a great stay. I will FOR SURE be back again!

  Comments: Wonderful stay, G train is a few steps away, grocery store literally in front of the building, many coffee shops and bodegas around the area. Reina is very kind and quick to respond. I don't recommend this place if you can't handle climbing stairs. Overall I give this place a solid thumbs up!

  Comments: The apartment and the room were clean and corresponding to the description. The location is also good, few minutes from subway station. The only drawback of our stay was missing AC (included as per description). Moreover the window was oriented to a closed shaft (so no fresh air from outside). During hot summer days, the room temperature was very high, and with no fresh air from outside the sleep and overnight stay was very unpleasant.

  Comments: Unser Aufenthalt bei Reina war ok. Die Wohnung ist mit der U-Bahn gut zu erreichen und der Check-in selbständig über eine Schlüsselbox - unkompliziert und problemlos abgelaufen. Über schiefe Treppen geht es in den dritten Stock, dort ist die Wohnung. Alle wesentlichen Dinge sind gut beschrieben und wichtiges in der Wohnung nochmal beschriftet. Es gibt 4 Airbnb-Zimmer und das Zimmer des Live-in Gastgebers, der allerdings nicht immer zuhause ist. Die Male, die wir ihm begegnet sind, war er sehr freundlich. Es wird viel Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt. Das einzige was den Aufenthalt für uns etwas unkomfortabel gemacht hat, war, dass es sehr warm in unserem Zimmer war (>30°C). Es gibt keine Klimaanlage - für uns ok, wenn man das Fenster öffnen kann (haben zuhause auch regelmäßig mal über 28°C). Leider ging das Fenster in einen Schacht, von dem aus nur noch wärmere Luft ins Zimmer kam. Der Ventilator hat bedingt geholfen. Am Ende war die Lösung offene Tür+ Ventilator ok.

  Comments: Reina's place is in a nice neighborhood. It's a short walk from the subway and her instructions to get in were easy to understand. The apartment is clean and provides everything you need, it does however lack some kind of personal touch in my opinion. All in all it was a good stay.

  Comments: Basic but clean room in good proximity to subway and restaurants. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean as well. We did not meet Reina, but her brother in law lives there and greeted us when we arrived. The air conditioner was great as it was a hot few days in New York. Some light came in from the neighboring room, so bringing an eye mask is recommended if you need a very dark room to sleep.

  Comments: The building is a little run down, but the apartment is nice. Our room was a little plain, but the kitchen and bathrooms were very nice, and for the money, it’s definitely recommendable. A perfectly acceptable place to come home to after exploring the city.

  Comments: Staying at Reina was ok. The bed was fine, bathroom clean. Check in was easy, but we didn't see anyone else than other guests, that said it didn't bother us. Luckily there was a cooler in the room otherwise we wouldn't have survived any nights with that heat! But be prepared with ear plugs because it is very very noisy. The big down side of the room is that, for some reasons, there are 2 windows in the room that give on the corridor and communal area, meaning you have no intimacy whatsoever in the evening if the lights are on! I didn't understand why there were no black curtains or something... It was really frustrating. Also, on our last night, the wifi was turned off, which was really annoying as I was relying on it entirerly to contact my family :(

  Comments: If you are looking for a clean space to sleep for a good price than this is the right place! It is clean, air conditioned and has a great connection to the subway. The house is more or less in a bad shape, but I need to say that pretty much the whole city looks like this. Maybe I just have different standards, so I don't want to give it a bad rating in any crucial way!!

  Comments: As others have mentioned the building and stairway up to the apartment is a little rough, but the actual Airbnb is great! Very clean and stylish. As for our room, nothing worth complaining about, and we had a very easy and comfortable stay.

  Comments: We had an amazing stay here. The subway is almost at your doorstep and the flat is very clean. There is a big fridge you can use in the kitchen. Reina provided very detailed descriptions for checkin and checkout which was very appreciated and was very responsive in general. I would definitely stay here again!

  Comments: Nice room, very basic but clean. Close to train. Check in was a bit difficult as there were no keys in lock box and host was very kind but a bit slow to respond and had to reach out to “live in host” to get us keys. Overall good value!

  Comments: Muito próximo ao metrô, literalmente só atravessar a rua. Tem um mercadinho na frente o que facilita se você quiser comprar algo, tem um KFC bem na esquina também que ajudou muito nos dias mais corridos. O único problema são os 4 lances de escada, subir com as malas e depois descer no primeiro e último dia foi difícil, mas sem duvidas isso não me impediria de voltar a me hospedar lá.

  Comments: Best value for short stay in Brooklyn. We only stayed one night so we didn’t have time to get too comfortable. The room was a little strange in that there were two windows into the bedroom with transparent curtains and you could see in the bedroom from the main hallway. Anyone going to the bathroom or kitchen could see in our room if we had the lights on. The door had a lock but it was warped so it didn’t actually lock. Other than that, the bed was really comfortable, the room was clean and the location had plenty of options for food. It was perfect for one night but I wouldn’t have felt comfortable for much longer due to the windows and lock.

  Comments: The location is good, near the subway station, the room is small but for what you pay, it's fine. The only drawback is that you have to take off your shoes and leave them outside the apartment, which may cause me a muscle contracture.

  Comments: I loved staying here, the hosts are nice, the place is clean, and the location"s great too. When we had to check in a bit later the hosts replied quickly and when we had trouble with the door, they sent in someone to come fix it the next morning! Plus, there's cute cafe's, a bookstore, and pharmacies nearby so we could just grab a quick bite or buy anything else we needed.

  Comments: 4 stars because we couldn't access the building for an hour due to missing keys in the lock and the radiator made loud noises. Everything else was fine without any problems. Reina was very nice and responded fast. At the beginning the bathroom was very clean but during our stay it was never cleaned (perhaps because the live-in host was on vacation during that time).

  Comments: Reina's place was very near the Subway station and was extremely spick and span. The space is a very simple room with a comfortable bed and some tables. Kitchen is accessible to guests and the bathrooms were very clean as well. Generally, it was a good stay.

  Comments: Hospedarse en esta casa fue increíble!! Desde el primer momento nos trataron increíble, tuvimos un problema con la caja de las llaves y llamamos a los números que nos dieron, nos lo solucionamos enseguida y eso que era muy tarde. La casa muy caliente y genial. Muy limpia, silenciosa y acogedora. Muchísimas gracias por todo. Tuvimos la gran suerte de tener la habitación D, teníamos dos zonas privadas, una con una mesa un espejo y 4 sillas que daba a nuestra habitación -donde estaba la cama y una mesa de noche. Por las noches podías cerrar la habitación de fuera y se quedaba una habitación enorme. La ubicación espectacular, literalmente a 15-20 minutos de lower manhattan (mi parte favorita), la parada del metro a menos de 5 minutos. Si volviera a NYC repetiría sin lugar a dudas. Muchas gracias de nuevo!! Antonio y yo quedamos enamorados.

  Comments: Reina is a great host, very helpful! The place is nice and clean. The bathroom is very clean!! (thats the most important thing that i look for when finding an airbnb) Its very close to the subway station which is convenient.

  Comments: Great value! Super clean, well-located, and super responsive hosts. The subway is literally around the corner and the area has good bars and coffeeshops just a short walk away. One thing is the room we stayed in was extremely hot (even in February), and the windows opened to an enclosed skylit space rather than the outside, so there was no fresh/cold air to let in. That said, when we inquired about turning off the radiators, etc. after the first night, Reina was so helpful, responded quickly, and even followed up to check if we were able to resolve the issue. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting from out of town who is looking to check out the neighborhood and/or commute between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
