  Comments: Vous apprécierez la terrasse au-dessus des toits des caves de Porto, pour prendre son café au soleil le matin, au sortir du lit, avec vue sur le fameux pont Luiz I -qui vous mènera en 1/4 d'heure à pied au cœur de la ville, avec panorama...! :) C'est un type studio (tout ouvert) en duplex (étage salon cuisine, étage chambre-terrasse-salle de bain), bien équipé, au 4ème étage d'un immeuble entièrement rénové par les propriétaires pour la location. L'hôte nous a bien reçus et accompagnés au garage (manipulation particulière, car nécessite de prendre l'ascenseur avec la voiture pour se garer au 1er étage du parking du quartier, situé dans la même rue). Il est juste à côté des berges du Douro, en face de Porto, le quartier s'est beaucoup développé, vous y trouverez nombreux restaurants et les familles comme les touristes en promenade sur les berges. C'est vous l'aurez compris le fameux quartier des caves de Porto, que l'on peut y déguster, d'où son succès, mais aussi parce que c'est de ce côté là qu'on a les meilleures vues sur Porto (et qu'on se sent un peu plus éloignés de l'agitation de la ville). Bon séjour à Porto chez Maria.

  Comments: We had a perfect stay at Maria´s place: Our flight arrived early and she made it possible to enter the apartment earlier than the description says. She provided us with recommendations for restaurants, bars and places to see and answered super quick whenever we texted her. We highly recommend this place!

  Comments: Maria and Paulo are very kind and extremely helpful and amazing hosts. The apartment is fantastic especially the terrace with a view to the entire city - it’s unique in Porto to have this kind of terrace. The area is great too, close to all the port wine cellars, which is really worth a visit. So if you are looking for the perfect apartment this has to be it. Rasmus and Carina.

  Comments: Maria and her brother were fantastic hosts! On the first evening she came to meet us and make sure we were happy with everything, she was on hand during the whole stay and gave us recommendations on where to visit/eat. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and modern with great facilities The view from the balcony is amazing. The location of the flat is perfectly central to really enjoy Porto 11/10!

  Comments: The appartment is exacly like on the pictures. The view from the balcony is amazing and we really enjoyed our time in the appartment. The location is very close to everything and we actually liked it very much. The checkin was very welcoming and we got great tips where to go for food and for drinks. The only thing is, that the bathroom is not really made for tall people. My boyfrind is 193 cm and the bathroom ceiling was a bit to low for him.

  Comments: Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld wie auch während des Aufenthalts ist sehr vorbildlich. Der empfang ist sehr unkompliziert und herzlich. Das Appartement würden wir sofort wieder buchen. Ideal für zwei Personen und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Der Balkon ist Super und hat Morgensonne mit schöner Aussicht. Eine Möven-Familie hatte auf dem Nachbardach zwei Junge, was amüsant war zum beobachten. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass die Wohnung im 4en Stock ohne Lift ist. Für uns kein Problem, aber vielleicht für ältere oder schwächere. TOP-Appartement!!! TIPP was nicht zur Wohnungsbeurteilung gehört: Die Portwein-Keller sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung, wobei wir Taylors für eine Besichtigung empfehlen. Da kann man selber eine Tour mit Audioerklärungen in jeder Sprache im eigenen Tempo begehen. Einkaufen in den Kellern, speziell bei Calem ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wegen vielen Touristen sind die Preise dort jeweils erhöht. Mussten wegen Unkenntnis, bei Calem für eine Vintage-Port, den ich zum ersten mal kosten wollte, 220% mehr bezahlen als auf seriösen Homepages nachgelesen. Zudem verkauften sie mir einen der schlechtesten Jahrgänge, obwohl ich mich extra, wegen Unwissenheit, beraten lies. Wurde gut ausgenutzt. Auch normale Portweine kosten ca. 10 bis 20% mehr als in den umliegenden Geschäften oder Online. Trotzdem eine tolle Erfahrung und ich hab was dazu gelernt :-)

  Comments: Maria and Paulo were excellent hosts. We arrived by car, so they met us at an easier-to-navigate-to spot and led us to the parking garage next to their apartment. The apartment itself has two floors and a balcony; it is very clean and comfortable and has plenty of room. It is also very well-located, just a short walk from many of the port houses and a ten-minute walk across the river from Porto. Would absolutely stay here again on a future trip!

  Comments: 사진과 정말 똑같아요! 복층구조로 되어있고 너무 깨끗하고 테라스에서 동 루이스 다리가 보여요!!!! 물도 주고 커피머신이랑 티도 준비가 되어있고 컵 그릇 냄비와 소금 올리브오일 등 간단한 식재료가 준비되어있어요! 호스트가 매우 친절하고 음식점이나 와이너리, 구경할 것들을 추천해줍니다 단점은 5층이었는데 엘리베이터가 없었다는점과 에어컨이 없다는점? 7월초에 갔는데 아침저녁으로는 쌀쌀해서 에어컨이 필요가없긴했습니다 선풍기 엄청 강력한걸로 두개있어요 위치가 와이너리쪽에 위치하는데 동루이스 다리에서 그리 멀지 않아 걸어다닐만했습니다. 포르투크루즈 건물이있는 골목에 있어요 주변에 와인판매점도 많고 도우로 강가랑도 가까워요! 평지로 가는 법이있고 언덕에있는 계단으로 가는 방법이 있는데, 구글지도가 언덕으로 알려줘서 처음엔 언덕으로 갔었는데 나중에는 평지로 편하게 다녔습니다! 너무 좋은 숛소였습니다!!

  Comments: Maria and Paolo are great hosts. Checkin process went easy, we were provided with a huge list of recommendations about the places to see, to eat etc. The duplex is perfectly located (especially for people who adore porto wine). The area is beautiful, but not really touristic. The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay. And a FANTASTIC terrace. Last 2 evenings we did not go to the restaurants but ate on the terrace - the view and the atmosphere there is much better :) I would recommend this place to couples who want to spend a romantic time in Porto (or Vila Nova de Gaia :)). But I would not recommend to bring huge suitcases - it's less than 1 km from the metro, but the road is not flat at all. And we did't manage to call the Uber there (had to use Teleférico to get up to the metro station with our luggage).

  Comments: This place could not be in a better location for visitors wanting to explore the port wine caves of Vila Nova de Gaia. Beautiful view of the town and embankment from the window and the private balcony. Safe and very secure neighborhood and building. Clean space and amenities. Comfortable beds and, while there is no AC, there are fans and a nice breeze with open windows. A two minute walk to the main strip of Diogo Leite, next to the Sandeman property. Though close, not noisy and a good place to get rest after exploring. Easy walk over the bridge to Porto, but we liked Gaia better!

L'appartement est conforme à la description avec un balcon très agréable. Super bien situé, nous n'avons utilisé aucun transport pour nous balader dans Porto. A recommander!

  Comments: La localización en Vila Nova de Gaia es una excelente opción para visitar Porto. Estuvimos en agosto y la afluencia de turistas en Oporto era muy grande. Al estar al otro lado del Duero esta localización te permite estar al mismo tiempo cerca del centro y más tranquilo del ajetreo de turistas. Además tienes las bodegas con sus terrazas y restaurantes al lado. En nuestro caso pillamos una ola de calor que hizo subir las temperaturas muchos grados por encima de la media de un mes de agosto durante algunos días. En condiciones normales, que también tuvimos, las temperaturas son moderadas y muy agradables en verano en general y también en el apartamento. Sin embargo, los días de la ola de calor echamos en falta el aire acondicionado, que, por otro lado, ya sabíamos que el apartamento no tenía. Por lo demás, perfecto.

  Comments: Asunto oli hyvin siisti ja sijainniltaan loistavalla paikalla. Lähiympäristössä oli kivoja, pieniä ravintoloita ja tietenkin upeat portviinikellarit. Söimme joka aamu aamiaisen omalla parvekkeella katsellen maisemaa Douro-joelle. Sisäänkirjautuminen sujui ongelmitta ja Marian kanssa kommunikointi oli vaivatonta. Iso suositus!

  Comments: Great apartment right near the river and all of the port wineries. Really nice balcony to sit and have a cup of coffee on. Also very easy to get across the river and into the city center. Really great hosts who got us checked in and gave us great recommendations! Only thing is that it’s a bit hot in the summer since there is no air conditioning but they had fans set up for us.

  Comments: Not only an amazing location, but the appartment was absolutely perfect inside for our couple day stay in Porto. We were a 2 minute walk from the main strip. Our host was nice enough to give us recommendations of restaurants and nightlife soon after we arrived (in which we accepted and tried) the bed was comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped and the balcony was perfect to enjoy a glass of wine, or breakfast with a beautiful view. I loved the place so much I wish I could have stayed even longer. 10/10 would definetly recommend. Would love to stay here again Very clean, modern, and enjoyable. Thank you B

  Comments: Conforme à la description et aux photos, voir même mieux. La vue sur le pont est juste superbe. L'appartement est hyper bien placé, très propre et Maria est très disponible. Elle indique la ligne de métro à prendre puis le plan pour arriver à l'appartement. Maria laisse également des recommandations pour des lieux à visiter ainsi que pour des restaurants. Et, pour notre départ elle nous a commandé un taxi car nous partions assez tôt. Nous retournerons avec plaisir chez Maria pour un prochain voyage à Porto.

  Comments: Maria's place is very nice, clean and has almost palpable charm. Located on the "Port wine" side of Douro river it is not as busy as the tourist part of Porto and we loved it. Maria is an amazing host and very kind person. She gave us thorough information how to get to place and welcomed us on the spot. Also, she provided us with great tips where to eat and what to see. If we will come back to Porto we will definitely go to Maria again.

  Comments: Marias Apartment lässt tatsächlich keine Wünsche offen! Wie schon in den vorhergegangenen Bewertungen beschrieben, ist es für zwei Personen perfekt geeignet und liegt absolut perfekt, um zu Fuß Porto zu erkunden - wobei auch die direkte Umgebung von Vila Nova de Gaia viel zu bieten hat. Maria war unglaublich gastfreundlich, holte uns sogar aus der Nähe ab, weil wir den vereinbarten Treffpunkt nicht so recht fanden. Außerdem gab sie uns unzählige Tipps für Restaurants, Bars, Unternehmungen etc., und davon war jeder einzelne gold wert! Wir können Marias Apartment wirklich uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

  Comments: Great communication before and at our arrival. Maria met us and guided us into the parking garage - a small car is a must! She then sent an email with lots of local info and places to visit - very useful. The apartment was spotless and well equiped, it's in a perfect location - a couple of minutes walk from the river, about 5 mins from the bridge and in the middle of all the Port houses. The balcony was a bonus for an evening drink and a morning coffee, looking out over the roof-tops and the bridge. The apartment is up 4 flights of stairs so not for those with walking difficulties but all of Porto is hilly - it makes for great views! Would definitely recommend.

She gave us great tips, places to eat, things to see, but even more important is the fact, that it was possible to call or text her if we needed help or advice with anything. It was good to know that when in a foreign city, you have someone you can turn to if needed. The apartment is airy, with great light at all times of the day. The view from the balcony on the top floor is lovely, and was a great place to sit with a glass of wine at the end of the day, just relax and enjoy the clean air and the picturesque view. Maria and Paolo are wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure to stay in there. They made everything pleasant and easy... A wonderful stay in Porto... a beautiful city, and they made it amazing!   Comments: Maria is the perfect host with a great apartment located in the historic port house area of Vila Nova de Gaia (directly across the Douro river from the Ribeira precinct of Porto). There are several major port houses and restaurants a 2 minute walk away on the banks of the Douro with the Ribeira dining precinct only a 5 minute walk away via the picturesque Dom Luís I Bridge. The apartment is on the top floor of the building but the stairs are worth it for the view of the Douro and Dom Luís I Bridge. An amazing experience which we wished was longer. Thanks Maria.

  Comments: A spacious and stylish apartment in the heart of Vila Nova de Gaia. We walked across the famous Dom Luís bridge every day and had no problem walking to almost all tourist sites! Coffee pods in the kitchen were amazing, no need to find a supermarket and try to figure out what pods would work (something not all AirBnb’s we stayed at had)! They gave us great suggestions for restaurants and loved the home cooked Portuguese food at Casa Dias, a few minute walk from the apartment. The terrace was lovely and a great place for morning coffee. The apartment was SO clean!! Thank you for providing a great place for our first stay in Portugal!

  Comments: Super beau petit condo deux étages. Bien situé, ne donne pas sur la rue, donc tranquille. Idéalement situé pour visiter les cavistes, ou pour marcher jusqu'au centre touristique de Porto. Paulo est très accommodant, et sympathique. À recommander!

  Comments: Estuvimos en el apartamento de Maria y Paulo durante una semana, ya tenía claro que quería hospedarme en la zona de las bodegas, un lugar muy tranquilo cuando cae la tarde noche. La casa es igual que en las fotos, la limpieza impecable, todo muy nuevo... y encima con vistas al puente D. Luis. Posiblemente leas que cualquier emplazamiento es centrico, aqui te queda la primera estación de metro a 10 minutos caminando y la estación de tren de Sao Bento a 20 minutos, puede parecer mucho, pero no lo es. Oporto es una ciudad tranquila pero con mucho movimiento de turístas, hospedarte más al centro supone mucho más ruido, y sobre todo, porque muchas de sus calles son con adoquines, por lo que se puede percibir el ruido desde muy temprano, en la casa de Maria, lo único que te puede despertar es alguna gaviota que se acerque mucho a la terraza. Desde el primer día nos facilitaron información de diferentes lugares para visitar y comer, aunque nosotros ya conocíamos Oporto. Puedes contratar un transfer para que te lleve desde el aeropuerto por unos 15 euros para 2 personas. Nos ha encantado Oporto y el resto de ciudades que visitamos, ya que practicamente todo los hicimos en tren que es muy barato. Sin duda recomiendo éste alojamiento a todas esas personas que como yo, les gusta la tranquilidad y huyen del ruido. Muchas gracias a María y Paulo. Desde Tenerife.

Emplacement dans un quartier très sympa, il faut juste traverser le Douro pour rejoindre le centre ville à pied, en télécabine, funiculaire ou métro!   Comments: My boyfriend and I had a great stay in Paulo's appartment. It is extremely practical as it is less than a minute away from all the wine cellars and it is also very quiet. Paulo was extremely kind and was reactive to any questions. The only advice is to probably carry smal luggages as the appartment does not have a lift and it is on the topmost floor having a lot of steps ( even then paulo helped us so it was no problem). Also the road to the house is quite narrow (like all of portugal) so try a get a small car.

  Comments: Paulo's responsiveness, the location, the cleanliness, the style, the general condition, the quality of linens, the parking, and the security were excellent. There are a few functional aspects that could use improvement, but overall this is a great place. A small grocery store and an excellent restaurant called Arcoiris are a few doors down, and the river front activities and view make this super place convenient.

Exactly same with pictures. Hosts were very helpful and their recommendation was so good. Flat was very clean. I’ll stay this flat next time when I go to Porto again.
