  Comments: Floyd communicated promptly and provided detailed instructions inside of his House Manual making the checking in and out process a breeze. The unit itself was clean, quiet, had reliable wifi and proved to be a great jumping off point to the Bike Maui Haleakalā Crater Tour (office is located less than 10 minutes up the road in Haiku). We were also a quick drive to Paia for dinner. Two thumbs up. Thanks Floyd.

  Comments: For the price, I really can’t complain. Simple furnished apartment. Nothing fancy, but it didn’t need to be. It suited our needs just fine. We did end up buying pillows, because the ones provided were a little flat, and left them in contribution. Easy communications.

  Comments: This place sits in a great location. It’s close to Haiku town and about 20 minutes from airport (Hakului). Floyd is a great host, he will do anything he can to make sure you enjoy your vacation there. Since the location is on the more moisturing side of the island, it might appear that it’s more cloudy and rainy most of the time, but don’t let that turns you down, a 10 minutes drive will get you right into the sunny side again. We would definitely come back and stay again when we have chance to visit Maui again in the future.

  Comments: This airbnb is in the best location in Maui! Right off the Hana Hwy, close to the beach, and restaurants and shopping. The unit is accurately reflected in the pics from the website. Wifi was a little slow, but to be expected in a beautiful remote island. There was only one pan in the kitchen, which made cooking a little tricky. We enjoyed staying here very much!

  Comments: Great place. Easy access to main road. Floyd’s place has everything that you need. The only downside is that the room tends to be a little stuffy during the day since there is no air conditioning but who comes to Hawaii to spend time in their room. I highly recommend staying here.

If you’re adventures on Maui takes you on the Road to Hana, this condo is the perfect location as a starting point. The nearby Jaws Cafe serves up some tasty breakfasts too!

  Comments: We chose this location due to it’s proximity to road to Hana, (right on Hana hwy), making a long day of driving a little less daunting. We also booked a bike Haleakala sunrise tour, which started less than 10 minutes from this address. That helped IMMENSELY on the earliest morning. So 5 star location as far as touring North Maui. Keep in mind though, nearby food is not as plentiful as in tourist heavy Lahaina or Kihei, so you may drive a ways for dinner, especially if you put it off til after 7pm. Firm mattress, plenty of towels available, strong WiFi, but weak cell reception with Verizon and Sprint.

We can unreservedly recommend his apartments and would come back again. We hope, that you meet Cassia there. She is a dream and keeps for everything what you need. Thx a lot

  Comments: I rented all 7 of Floyd's units for a large group, and I'm glad I did! Floyd was very easy to work with, and responded quickly to my messages and emails. He answered all my questions, and made the booking process quick and easy. I requested some changes to my reservation a few days after booking, which Floyd made with no problem. I was definitely happy when I arrived on the property. Check in was simple, and Floyd had emailed me the key codes a few days earlier. All the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good air conditioning, plenty of hot water, lots of clean towels, comfy beds. The kitchenettes are well stocked. The yard is well maintained and colorful, and we spent a lot of our time relaxing on the lawn or under the gazebo. I will definitely recommend this listing to my friends, both tourists and locals.   Comments: Looking for a great quiet and very “homey” place to stay that gives you a taste of the local vibe and away from tourist crowd, this is the one for you. Personally didn’t want to stay at a hotel so we decided to book this place. We didn’t mind that it was a little secluded because it really was what we were aiming for. Although it is right along one of the many famous things to do here which is road to Hana. Self check in was super easy. I enjoyed the kitchen amenities because my boyfriend and I did many home cook meals here when we didn’t wanna go out to eat. There’s A.C. although it does take quite a while to cool the place up. It is summer so it does get a little hot inside. But we were hardly home so it didn’t really matter to us. There’s sliding doors in the living room and bedroom so it was good fresh air. The location was perfect and everything about this air bnb exceeded my expectations. Very clean, spacious and beds were comfy. As far as Floyd, the host, he was very easy to get in touch with. When we came home late one night after a luau, there was a little situation that arose but Floyd was very understanding and quick to fix the issue. And he was more than accommodating when our flight got delayed and allowed us to check out a little later till we got our flight all figured out. Overall, this place is a gem. And for the price per night at this beautiful home and area, it is quite a steal. I would recommend booking once you see an available date because it does fill up quick! Definitely would love to come back here!

  Comments: This place was really enjoyable. It was quiet, away from the street, and just what we needed. I really enjoyed having my morning coffee while listening to the birds chirp on the outdoor patio. Everything was clean, and we had what we needed. The place takes a little while to cool down after turning on the AC unit, but does eventually get to a comfortable temperature. I would recommend staying here!

  Comments: This is a nice little place out of the way and quiet. It has all the essentials for a great stay on Maui. As with most listings the photos are cropped to show only the best parts. What was shown is accurate, just incomplete. I'm referring mostly to the balcony view here. I checked (Hidden by Airbnb) Earth prior to booking but there are new houses to the west since the images there. there is still a nice view and I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee watching it. The AC is present but we found it inadequate for the space. it's a portable unit and is too small to do much after the place has been heating in the sun all day.

  Comments: Floyd is a great host! We stayed 3 nights in this spacious condo. The rooms were clean, there is an AC and several fans to cool the rooms down in a few minutes. The location is near Paia, and close to Makawao, if you want to have dinner or a walk through the village. It is close to the beaches and on the road to Hana. The communication with Floyd is very easy, he texts back immediately and always has good recommendations for activities all around the island. Thank you for the great stay!

  Comments: This was perfect for what we were looking for. We wanted a place that we could use as a base for exploring the north/east sides of Maui. The neighborhood was super quiet at night and though there are 4 condo's in Floyd's place I never heard any of the neighbors and they were all occupied. Floyd state there's a surcharge for leaving the AC/fans on when you leave so we turned things off during the day. The condo was always really hot when we returned but it cooled down pretty quickly, especially the front room where the AC unit is. The Netflix and internet worked great. Overall we were really happy with our stay here.

  Comments: We stayed for 10 days here and Floyd was very helpful throughout our stay. He gave us a free cleaning and laundry on day 5. We made timely reservations for Mama's Fish house as per Floyd's tip when we had booked a month or 2 ago to celebrate my wife's birthday. We drove around the entire island and picked a new beach every day. We used Floyd's good quality snorkeling gear and had a lot of fun swimming with turtles and fish. There are good surfing beaches close by which can get super windy but beaches on the opposite side of the island are great for relaxation. Floyd's place felt like home and we would come back.

  Comments: The unit is quiet and spacious, with a full kitchen and two patios, from both the living room and bedroom. Close to Hana Hwy. Only minutes drive to surf beaches and the old but cool town of Paia, where there are restaurants, art galleries, surf shops.

  Comments: Come and stay at Floyd’s Airbnb! He is an awesome host from the start to the end! During my stay, he was very helpful and communication was superb. Check-in was very easy and informative and check-out was very accommodating. He was eager and proactive to assist with answering any questions that I had and if he didn’t know he tried to point me to the best resource. The place was very clean overall and it almost felt like a hotel, but in the country side. It’s an excellent spot near the best bakery and breakfast place in town that he recommended called Baked on Maui, Haleakalā National Park, Paia, and Makawao. If you are at least an intermediate level surfer, one of the best surf spots is about a 10-15 minutes drive and worth checking out. This is an Airbnb stay very much worth experiencing!!!

  Comments: Floyd is professionally running the place, he is very responsive and you get everything you need even for a longer stay. We were two people and lived there for 4 weeks. You have good access to all the interesting places of the island, but nothing is in walking distance. The apartment is newly renovated and very clean. The premises are constantly kept clean, too. WiFi is very fast.
