  Comments: The apartment is perfectly located, it is really close to Taksim square. There are many shops and restaurants near the apartment and i think it is the place to stayed in Istanbul because not so much touristic. The apartment is new and clean, and it look like perfectly to the picture. there is a small terasse really nice and there is really silent. just one little thing, the bathroom is very little. I really recommand this place!

  Comments: Отличное расположение, до улицы Истикляль 5 минут пешком, до двух станций метро - 10-15 минут, рядом есть автобусная остановка. В самой квартире можно жить двумя парами (на кухне раскладной диван). Душевая совмещена с туалетом, для кого-то это может стать проблемой, вариант скорее для неприхотливых. Хозяин, Волкан - очень приветливый, готовый помочь во всех вопросах, хорошо говорит по-английски. Может показать множество интересных мест в городе, куда туристы сами не доберутся :) Итого: твёрдая четвёрка.

  Comments: Rather good flat. Nothing special, but great for such a low price. Two good beds, all other things that you need. One little problem: water in the shower stream down too slow: so, 5-10 sm water remain in the floor for next hour) But its not a big deal. We were happy too see, that photos don't lie, that Taxim and metro/buses/funicular/shops/clubs/restaraunts are really near, that Volcan is very helpful guy, who did everything we ask. So, it was fine. For that price - excellent.

  Comments: I would highly recommend this apartment and a host. We had a late flight to Istanbul and for Volkan that wasn't a problem. He waited us and showed us some cool bars the same night. Apartment is very close to Istiklal (the street where everything is happening), but yet it is very quiet an clean (pictures don't lie). There is no need to use public transportation, you can reach the main historical buildings on foot. Also if you need anything ask Volkan, he knows everything about Istanbul and he is willing to tell you.

  Comments: Great spot! Great location! Everything is really close; Taksim square, Galata shopping, and the Old-City. Apartment is spacious, clean, and cozy. Located in a good neighborhood; we walked around at night with no fears. This was our first trip to Istanbul and Volkan really helped us have a positive experience. He was able to provide us with a lot of details about the city. I would highly recommend this location!

  Comments: Volkan was nice and easy to reach at all times. The house is like in the pictures, new and clean, it is an old building but he did a fine work renovating it. I didn't walk much on this neighbourhood since I didn't have a lot of days. It was noisy for me in the living room, sometimes we couldn't open the window all the way but I guess this is Istambul, like my country Spain, noisy. The room was quiet, so good for sleeping. There are two things that I wasn't very comfortable with, one being the bathroom, I didn't realized in the pictures that it was so small, the shower was very good but you have to take the toilet paper out every time you shower and there is no place really to leave your toiletries, and the second one was that we couldn't really cook because there was nothing to cook with, so it was not completely equipped, just basics. Not a big problem since there are a lot of restaurants to try out! The stairs to the flat are very narrow and a bit steep so if you have trouble climbing stairs keep this in mind, other than that, you get use to it easily, Volkan helped us with our heavy luggage. I must say that we are on our 40's and that is why I think this is a flat more for young people than for a mature couple. But it was all right for 3 nights and for the price.

  Comments: Great host. Volkan is very helpful and speaks great English. The location is close to taksim. The apartment is good for 1-2 people. It's small and bathroom is very small. As long as it's 2 people max you should be good.

  Comments: I booked this place for my niece, her husband and her one year old daughter. It was very clean and it met their expectations fully. The neighborhood is part of old Istanbul and family oriented with a lot of children playing in the street. There is great access to main street with public transports. Taksim square is only 10 minutes walk. Volcan is a great guy and he made my family feel very welcome. For sure we will work with Volcan again if we end up coming back to Istanbul.   Comments: L'appartement de Volkan est plutôt bien placé par rapport aux endroits à visiter dans Istambul mais malheureusement il se situe dans une petite rue excentrée peu accueillante pour 2 jeunes femmes désireuses de faire la fête et de rentrer tard le soir. Nous avons en effet été suivies en rentrant de boîte de nuit et nous avons dû nous cacher chez un commerçant voisin :-( Toutefois je recommande ce logement à des hommes ou éventuellement des couples mais pas des femmes seules. Sinon Volkan est relativement serviable et pourra répondre à vos questions concernant les modalités pratiques de votre séjour.

  Comments: Appartement sommaire mais fonctionnel, très bien situé dans une rue calme à proximité de commerces et surtout proche de la grande rue commercante de Taksin et de sa vie nocturne. Volkan nous a très bien accueillit, très arrangeant et pret à repondre à toutes vos questions. Nous avons été très contentes de notre séjour à Istanbul. Nous recommandons cet hôte.

  Comments: The location is great, close to Taksim, there are small stores and food options close by. The place is very clean and Volkan was very helpful. The only drawback was the fact that we were 4 people and the sofa bed was not sleepable for even one person. The problem was not with space but with the comfort you need from a bed. Other than that, great place, great location, great host!

  Comments: Volkan was a wonderful host. He waited until after 1am for us to arrive as our flight was late. Volkan sat down with us and gave us tips on where to visit in Istanbul. He also let us borrow a travel guide book and gave us a map of the city. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. The apartment is in a great location- a short walk to Istikal street. I would recommend staying here. It's great value!

  Comments: Volkan is a careful host,although i changed my mind and i moved.He wasnt enthusiastic but...For couples its ok..For lonely person not so good....its 15 min.to taksim square with a quick walk...all over are strange people after eight p.m..But Volkans ap.has everything u need...but if u want smtg u need to ask....He takes care a lot...when u have a problem write him he will help for sure...The accomodation is exactly the same as on the (Website hidden by Airbnb) its nice to see that the reality=photo,coz here in Turkey its rarely to see the same as u choose....In general im satisfied....

  Comments: Volkan was a great host. Very accommodating, genial, very easy to communicate with (both upon the time of the booking and during the duration of our stay), clearly loves the Istanbul culture and can give good suggestions on how to go about the trip. The flat was as advertised. Clean, amenities all working, wifi was good, sheets, towels and extras were provided. Volkan was also nice enough to take care of our laundry. I travelled with my family (dad and sister) and found the flat to be very comfortable to fit us all. Bathroom may be a bit small but it's easy to get over that with the space we got anyway. The neighborhood is a bit raw and hilly (steep in some parts - so get a good cab if traveling with heavy luggages) but very very near the Istiklal Caddesi which is basically one of the major veins of Istanbul. So that's a plus. Very near the flat also are small restaurants serving good and inexpensive local food and minimarts for basic needs. Istanbul is a great city with nice people and amazing food. Volkan provided us a good flat to rest ourselves after a day of walking the city. Would recommend.

He was extremely helpful in getting us settled in and teaching us how to turn on the apartment's radiators. The place itself was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the high pressure hot shower was a godsend. Thanks so much for the great stay, Volkan!   Comments: Volkan was there to meet me at the building and was very welcome. Before, during and after stay, he was always quickly available to answer any questions I threw at him. The apartment was basic and located in a working class family neighborhood, but I always felt safe. It has two rooms separated by a hallway and a bathroom. It's a youth hostel version of an AirBnB, but everything you need is there. Great deal!

Our flight was delayed and we ended up reaching his place only at 1AM and Volkan was available to provide our taxi driver with directions as well as welcome us and show us around the apartment. The apartment itself is perfectly sized for 2. For a group of 4, it may be a little cramped but again it is not too bad. The proximity to Istiklal street makes it a perfect place to spend time in Istanbul. Given a chance, I would definitely stay in Volkan's place.

  Comments: Great location. Five minutes to Istiklal Street by walking. Restorated old Ottoman appartment. Pretty comfortable matress. Shower is quite good. If you are a tourist couple or a lone ranger, this flat is for you. The guy ‘Yusuf’ was so friendly and helpful.

  Comments: Отличная, уютная, стильная квартира в старом доме со свежим ремонтом. Звукоизоляция хорошая, намного лучше, чем в недорогих гостиницах с картонными стенками. Квартал не туристический, здесь живут местные жители, и этим он хорош - низкими ценами и хорошей инфраструктурой. Буквально за углом совсем недорогое кафе (вкусная еда, цены как в столовых), пекарня с вкусняшками, два минимаркета - carrefour и sok. по выходным через дорогу открывается овощной рынок, где овощи и фрукту можно купить раза в два-три дешевле, чем в в супермаркете (где и так и не очень дорого).

  Comments: The location and the apartment itself are just perfect for exploring Istanbul! Everything you need is close by (bars, restaurants, shops etc) but the apartment is still in a quiet area with a local vibe. The apartment is cosy, clean, and has everything you need for preparing breakfast etc. The size is perfect for couples.   Comments: Квартира на третьем этаже (физически четвертый). Но если в Вас весу не 120 кг, как во мне, довольно крутая винтовая лестница не сильно испугает. Интерьер очень приятный, полностью соответствует фотографиям. Особенно понравился деревянный пол, неокрашенный, просто лакированный или пропитанный маслом - приятно ходить босиком. Так как мы были в гостях у Волкана 16 дней, очень выручила стиральная машина (правда все надписи на ней на турецком, но при наличии Wi-Fi - это не составило никаких проблем). Звукоизоляция отличная.Двери входные надежные, стальные. С балкона можно наблюдать обычную жизнь местных. По воскресеньям овощной рынок с утра и до восьми вечера. Автобусная остановка в 5 минутах ходьбы. До Таксима - макс. 10 минут. Рекомендую - для двух человек и цена и качество - самое то!

  Comments: Great little flat in a great location. You can walk to most major sites if you want to; and if not—multiple local transportation options are very close by. Plenty of local amenities available in the neighborhood, and on Sunday there is a street bazaar that begins on the cross street opposite the apartment with a wonderful selection of fresh produce, fruit, nuts and more. And Volkan is very quick to respond to any communication.

  Comments: Отличное расположение квартиры, тихий район, несколько кафе где можно позавтракать. В 10 минутах ходьбы центральная улица Истикляль, 15 мин до Галатской башни. Удобное расположение к общественному транспорту - автобусы, фуникулер, метро. В квартире чистота и есть все для длительного проживания - холодильник, плита, посуда, посудомойка, фен, хорошая звукоизоляция. Отзывчивый и доброжелательный хозяин.

  Comments: Мне понравилось, район такой старинный, дома стоят на горе. Идти приходится или вверх или вниз. Лестница в доме шикарная, винтовая вокруг балки. Свет на ней включается от движения и надо очень быстро взбираться по ней, что бы успеть от одной лампы к другой. Я не успевал, а оказавшись на такой лестнице без света то ещё удовольствие. Сама квартира не большая, но мне самый раз, я жил один. Архитектура дома понравилась, он сам из кирпича с деревянными полами. Вид из окна лучше не смотреть. В пяти минутах пешеходная улица, куча баров, мини рынки. Расположение хорошее.

  Comments: Небольшая квартирка в старом кирпичном доме на 3-м (почти 4-ом) этаже. Как мы поняли, абсолютно аналогичные квартиры находятся этажами ниже и выше, с небольшой разницей. Только наша квартира была с небольшим открытым балкончиком. Прекрасное местоположение, до центральной улицы рукой подать. В воскресенье из окон туалета открывается прекрасный вид на рынок и жизнь турков :))) Квартирка показалась нам уже немного потрепанной, было бы замечательно чуть обновить ремонт(покрасить стены, починить смеситель на кухне) и получше убираться (часто натыкались на чужие волосы, пододеяльник был старый и в катышках). Но брат Волкана - Атилла извинился за не очень хорошую уборку, сказал, что обычно они сами тщательно чистят квартиру, но в этот раз не смогли, и убирался кто-то другой. И, пожалуй, за такую цену можно простить эти небольшие недостатки. Встретил нас Атилла, все объяснил, показал и был всегда на связи. По всем просьбам быстро откликался. За что ему большое спасибо!
