  Comments: Memo is an very fast communicator which is great if you have a lot of questions. He is always willing to help and seems to know the area very well, so he is able to provide accurate information. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is large enough for 2 people (I just stayed by myself). with great windows for sunlight. He told me that he is thinking about reorganizing the bathroom and kitchen, so if those things are important to you, I would ask in detail about them. Overall very friendly individual!

  Comments: Memo is a great host. The fact that he can speak English is a blessing because most Turkish people don't know English and it's hard to community. Plus the house's environment actually felt like home. You could cook if you want and you could rest without any disturbances. Also, memo was very friendly and helped in showing around places. If you ever visit Istanbul you should definitely stay at his house. :)

  Comments: I stayed one night in Memo`s room. I arrived in Taksim Sq at 12:15 a.m and he came there to take me his home. Though the street slopped and his apartment was on the 2nd floor, he got my suitcase and carried it 4 me. He is warm and a good guide for Istanbul. Ask him for good food and places.

  Comments: Staying at Memos was awesome. There was nothing negative I could mention. The room was nice and big (and the bed was super comfy), the area is very very close to the city center. Actually it's part of the city center. Memo was super friendly. He really made me feel at home. So if you're planning on visiting Istanbul: this is the place to be.

  Comments: Memo was a great host. He provided me with good tips about local places and sites to see. He was also replying very fast on all my questions. As for the location- the Memo's place is on the really good location - a few minutes from the Taksim square and metro station. Also, very near is a nice&stylish&artistic area (we might call it hipster zone :) - which you will hardly find if somebody do not give you a tip :) As for Memo's place - it is simple and basic - and you really get what you pay. Ideal for somebody who came to visit Istanbul and spend a lot of time outside. The bed was comfortable, I sleep well and felt safe :) All in all - I have good experience with staying at Memo's place and I would recommend it to others.

  Comments: Mohmet (Memo) is a nice man, goes out of the way to help his guests. His flat is at a walking distance to bus station, Taksim Square and Taksim Market. I enjoyed my stay at his accommodation.

He allowed me to use his laundry and stay later on my check out day with no problems. He knows a lot about the city and had many helpful hints about Istanbul. Would recommend and stay again. A+

  Comments: Memo's place has an excellent location, which is perfect for first-timers in Istanbul. You will easily be able to access the main tourist area of Sultanahmet, as well as the hip Cihangir and Beyoglu areas which are known for its nightlife. It also provided me a good introduction to Besiktas, which I think is more of a second-timer place.

  Comments: Mehmet's apartment is located in a very centric area, easy to transport with tramway or metro anywhere you need. There are many activities to do within walking distance. It is an ample room, with a lot of light and a double bed. Mehmet is a welcoming host, you will experience thoughtful hospitality.

  Comments: Well organized Istanbul attractions for one week are done as expected using Istanbulkart for 5 days and Museum Pass of 125TL for 5 days. Extra charge for some extra attractions, like for beautiful Dolmbahce Palace. Hystory and good food... My room was excellent , actualy I had privacy of using all flat myself. Clean. Quiet. TV for Football 2018, fridge, wifi, I didn't have time to use kitchen... Very good location, 5 min walk to Taksim Square with Metro station, F1 to Kabatas or walking 10 min to Tramvay T1 to the Old City... Great value for money - highly recomended.

  Comments: Memo’s place is just a minute’s walk away from the most buzzing place is town ie taksim square. Its also 5 mins away from tram station that connects to Sultanahmet (the main visiting place in IST). While the room is fine with all basic amenities, what stands out is Memo’s extremely helpful and hospitable nature. He has been just a call or (Hidden by Airbnb) message away for anything and spent good time with me explaining what to see in town n how to best plan my day. He even helped call few places of interest and the cab guys and also lent me his istanbul kart metro/ tram card to use. Memos place is apt for a short trip and has the following three things that any visitor looks for: 1. Excellent location - right in the middle of the most happening place in town with great connectivity 2. Very competitive price 3. An extremely helpful, welcoming and english speaking host. What more does one want!!

  Comments: Memo is a fantastic host. Very welcoming, very knowledge about the local area, and very accommodating. When I arrived, Memo did everything in his power to work around my awkward timing requirements - including allowing me to deliver my luggage to a safe and convenient location, he then brought it to the apartment himself, despite the fact that it was ridiculously heavy. He looked after all my requirements and even arranged for an airport transfer on my last day, which was prompt and timely and enabled me to make the very most of my final day in Istanbul. I am very grateful and would happily stay here again.

  Comments: Memo is responsive and helpful to guide me to reach his home for check in. He works at a hotel nearby - only 8 minutes walk from home. I met him first at that hotel and walk together to his home for check in. Memo is very kind to help carrying my lugage to the room on 2nd floor:) Bedroom is quite large, clean, comfy, good lighting and quiet - good for rest. Shared bathroom is clean and towels provided. Kitchen and drinking water also provided. Despite the hilly road, I like the location which is near Taksim square! Easy to find stores and restaurants. Metro station is also not far. Neighborhood area is safe to me walking alone at night. Memo is very kind to explain many tourist destination locations. how to get there and give me MRT map. I think I have chosen a right home for stay during my 1st visit to Istanbul. Would recommend it to other travellers who seeking budget room near Taksim square!
