Neighborhood Overview: The HoMa district is in full effervescence. It is very affordable and close to downtown Montreal. Visitors appreciate it for a completely french-speaking immersion in Quebec. Ontario Street is a few minutes away, where you'll find a variety of shops, starting with the marché Maisonneuve market! Delicatessen, fruit shops, pharmacy, pleasant little cafés to discover: Première Moisson and the famous Arhoma bakery for their delicious breads and pastries. The artisanal brewery L'Espace Public is our favorite to discover the atmosphere of the neighborhood in the evening. In addition, the 1448 is located next to the Denise Pelletier Theater and the excellent Chez Bouffe restaurant. The Olympic Stadium, the Biodôme, the Planetarium and the Montreal Botanical Garden are a 20-minute walk away.

Transit: You can park for free on the street. Bus 34 takes you directly to the Papineau metro station. And there is a bike path nearby that takes you to the city center in 30 minutes.
