Comments: Everything about Sal's loft is EXCEPTIONAL- location, amenities, host, et al. We had such an incredible stay there and after just the first of our 10 days, truly felt like it was a second home. The loft is actually FAR more spacious than the pictures indicate...and the high ceilings, wall of windows, and skylights give it even more semblance of grandeur. 2 aero beds fit super comfortably in the living room and with 4 of us there at one point, we never felt too crowded. Amazing restaurants and shopping nearby, too. It's perfect, really. Thank you, Sal, for being so hospitable and making our trip to Manhattan a memorable one!

Comments: Sal's place is a total gem in beautiful Tribeca. We stayed for almost three months and loved our time there. What you see in the photos is what you get - this is definitely a no frills spot. But, it's a huge space for New York, and we'll take no frills with ample space any day.

Comments: We stayed for two months at Sal's. He was friendly, a great communicator and everything was as listed. It's a very generously proportioned apartment for New York, therefore great value for money if you're looking for something a little different from the typical foursquare room with kitchen bar etc. It is a home so it comes with years of love and life, and testament to that is the incredibly well stocked kitchen - everything you could ever need to (Website hidden by Airbnb) end of utensils and so on. A great space to unwind and spread out; two people will not feel cramped. I would be lying if I said it was not unquiet outside the window; the passing traffic is busy during the day and drivers are energetic with their car horns - but this is New York, that's why we visit! If you fancy diving right into New York life and live like a real New Yorker for a few weeks we highly recommend Sal and his apartment to give you that opportunity. The location couldn't be better - the A,C,E train entrance is tripping distance from the front door, blink and you'll slip down into it- Canal Street's other stops are all 2 mins walk away. To the south of Canal Street is Tribeca, and Sal's place is like the gateway to Tribeca. Please tourists, don't bother with Times Square...just avoid it like the plague - hang out and eat down here and get the fast train up to the park. Highly recommend Everyman Espresso round the corner from Sal's; within minutes of downing one of their excellent espressos you are in Soho, or Chinatown or on the waterfront or in the shadow of Wall Street. Yep, it's a great place to wake up in and see what we think is the proper New York. And Sal is very personable and eager to help with any issues that may arise.
