  Comments: Brenda was more than helpful. We had and still have rooms at her location. We were arriving and departing and Brenda always made room for us. Some of us are still there. We had a family emergency and Brenda saved the day for us by have a place to stay. I can't say enough about her kindness. If we go back to Kailua, We would definitely stay here.

  Comments: Staying at this location was perfect for us during the week of our stay. It was within walking distance of the beach and multiple food places like buzz's and Island snow. It had everything you needed, and the host was kind enough to supply beach chairs and snorkel gear which we took advantage of. We used the kitchen for breakfast and the tv very little due to being in Hawaii :). I would highly recommend staying here, and the host was always available for questions.

  Comments: The studio was amazing - the best airbnb experience I've had so far. The studio was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. My sister and I were there for about a week in December - the weather was so nice that we left the windows open to enjoy the cool breeze in the room. We absolutely loved the king size bed and our own bathroom and kitchen. We got to meet with Kay and her family in person, and they're the nicest hosts ever. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable, peaceful experience in Kailua. The studio is only 10 minutes walk from Kailua beach, 10 minutes walk from Kailua downtown, and 30 minutes walk from Lanikai beach (if you take a bike, it would be 10 minutes from Lanikai beach.) Thank you to Kay and her family for making our stay enjoyable. If we get to visit Kailua again, we will definitely stay here again.

  Comments: The positive thing was the location, it was so nice to be so close to the beach, to the cute market for coffee and breakfast, and across the street from the park where our kids could play. The downside was a new roach infestation... We are aware it is the tropics so we expected to see geckos, bugs, and roaches, but at night they really started coming out all over the house, even though we had all food in the refrigerator, left out no toiletries, and kept our luggage zipped up. We notified Brandyn and AirBnB, and all parties quickly remedied the situation. We got into a new AirBnB right away, and Brandyn was able to get in to do some exterminating. We were very pleased with how it was all quickly handled and Brandyn apologized for the problem.

  Comments: We enjoyed our stay in this light, spacious studio, with its comfortable king bed. The check-in and check-out were easy and flawless. Brandyn was responsive and very helpful, as well. We loved the location, which was an easy walk to Kailua's downtown in one direction and Kailua Beach Park in another. All in all, it was a nice and very convenient place to stay!

  Comments: 8월 말에 4일 있었는데 아기가 있어 전자렌지를 이용할 수 있어 좋았어요. 넓고 바닥이 마루로 되어 있어 청소도 편했고 주택가라 조용해서 좋았어요.(저희 아기가 첫날 둘째날 밤마다 울어서 그게 조마조마ㅜㅜ) 호스트도 친절하고 방에 파라솔, 모래놀이 장난감 등 구비되어 있어요. 저희는 차 렌트해서 비치까지 갔는데 비치, 마트, 식당도 걸어서 갈 수 있어 편해요.

  Comments: This place is a great location if you want to be close to Kailua town, and the beach. Both an easy walk on foot if you have no small children. Nice quiet local street. The studio apartment had a full kitchen. Everything we needed was in the studio (except a bottle opener!), including suncream, beach towels, hairdryer etc. This studio is quite dated, but was clean. Only thing that may not suit some travellers is how the noise travels. There is an internal door that connects the studio to the main house (but you have your own private entrance, internal door is locked). This internal door is very thin, and we could hear everything that happened in the room beyond the door (entire conversations, cupboards being opened and closed etc). They were not unusually noisy. However I was always concerned about how much noise I may be making, which made it very hard for me to relax. They were never intrusive, but I didn't have the sense of privacy I would prefer as a traveller.

  Comments: I am writing this to assist the next travelers with clearer vision of what to expect not to "cut a low cos"t place down. This "studio" looked good in the Arbnb images . So I booked it . Then I get the address and find out it as converted garage space. Too late for me so I stayed there. Glad my girlfriend was not a long it would have been upsetting to her. There are windows but frosted glass so no views. The door to next door is paper thin. So when others arrived with two young children my peace was over. I could here every scream and snore. Welcome to Kailua. There is a nice Whole Foods in town. Beaches are great. Golf near by is fantastic. This "Studio" place was a bit too rustic for me. Not to let you think I am bad mouthing this place. The 2 and half forks was what you had to eat with . Yes one was broken in half and still cleaned and put back in the drawer. I suggest for the owner to buy some new silverware and glasses. Spray for the termites that you wake up with each morning crawling around on you. Thanks

  Comments: I enjoyed Brandyn's place. The efficiency was roomy and clean with a large comfortable bed. With its small but practical kitchen it was more than competitive with similar places in the Kailua area. It is situated about half way between the commercial district and the beach. It's a bit of a walk but a quick drive to either. The hosts are there if you need them, they won't bother you if you don't. No problem parking in you have a vehicle. The only issue is a limited amount of hot water from what is evidently a limited capacity for all residents including the hosts. Sometimes there was plenty, sometimes not so much. So unless you just like lukewarm or cold bathing water this can make for an occasional very quick shower. This should not be a deal killer but neither should you be surprised. Overall this is a clean and efficient apartment, nothing fancy but eminently practical.

You feel emerged in real Hawaiian life, will not get such expirience in hotel - The Studio is large and have everything that is necessary for comfortable stay. - Owners are very helpful and friendly. - Host is providing snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, kids beach toys etc... - This particular Studio is isolated from the other rental rooms and adjacent to owner house - so people noise was not major concern for us. - Good for kids. The owners do not mind noisy little people :) Thinks to note: - The place is not upscale 4 or 5 stars resorts. its rather basic with budget in mind. But that's exactly what we were looking for - Windows are not sound proof and car noise in the morning was mild inconvenience but did was not deal-breaker for us Thanks so much Brandyn and Family for fantastic stay!

  Comments: This place is a nice decent sized studio. The location is fantastic, quick drive to Kailua and Lanikai Beach. It's near many restaurants as well, so there's a wide food selection to pick from. Brandyn, the host, is not intrusive at all. You don't even have to meet him at check in or throughout the stay if you prefer not to. If you're looking for a host really involved, this isn't the place, but he has a binder of recommendations around the island. This is an attached garage with private entrance, kitchen, & bathroom. The noise is no different than being in a hotel with occasional people passing, if any! We didn't even cross paths with Brandyn or his family members during our one week stay. The neighborhood is nice, clean, and quiet. I would definitely stay here again :) Thanks Brandyn!

  Comments: Good:Location was amazing, no view but close enough to walk to Kailua beach and Kailua town. Studio stayed a confortable temperature despite July heat. There's an AC unit but was just ok at cooling the studio. Bad: Pretty dirty, Pest problem. it's a little run down and old. ** Host is very nice, and if they fix pest problem this will be a good place. Just a place to flop and cook meals in small kitchen. Neighborhood is safe so we didnt mind the lock on door was basic, no deadbolt.

Brenda is the other host, aside from brandyn and she was very friendly, gracious, and made me and my friend feel welcome and safe. Her place looks exactly like the pictures. We will be back 100%.

  Comments: Brandyn's place is in a great location-close to the beach and to town. It could use some sprucing up and you do hear voices and noise from the other parts of the home. This did not bother us but felt it should be noted. The place was very large and the table and desk area was a nice touch. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Located almost right between Kailua town and Kailua beach, a short walk or quick drive in either direction gets you to where you want to be quickly. Private entry, full kitchen and full bathroom with a HUGE shower. The value of this space and the location is worth every penny and I will absolutely be booking here on our next trip to the island. Brandyn reached out to me after our first week because I literally didn't need to contact them for anything. Everything was provided exactly as described and it was all excellent. If you're looking for a place that makes you feel like you live in Hawaii while you are just vacationing there, then look no further and book this place today. You will not be disappointed!
