  Comments: The host was awesome. Very attentive and great communication! She provided toiletry and amenities. Washed and renewed sheets after each guest. Close to the M and J train to get into Manhattan. I appreciate how the place was heated especially during the cold season. Highly recommend this place!!!

  Comments: Great place for budget travelers. The shower was really nice! Only problem was having a little bit of cigarette smoke come from the air vent from time to time (when the heat came on).

  Comments: I contacted Alena last minute, and when I say last minute I mean 2 hours before I needed to check in. I was in town for work and my job needed me to stay another night. She graciously accepted my request and check in was a breeze. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the train station and a short ride to the city. Place was very clean and comfortable. I had a great nights sleep!

  Comments: Thank you Alena for hosting me! I enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing mode of the house and the privacy of my little room. The neighboorhood is also quiet, needed public transport or uber to coffee shops or other places (Brooklyn museum). The sheets and the bathroom were very clean- all I needed for my first days in NY. Thank you for letting me leave my baggage in the living room for some extra hours till I could pick them up to my friend's house. I appreciate that a lot!

  Comments: Good space to tour the city. The house is in a quiet but safe neighbour and you have a bus close to the riverside of Brooklyn (east Manhattan) where to you can transfer to the train (metro) to get there. There is a subway station too and a bus to JFK just one block. Yet I used Uber hehe

  Comments: Rigtig fint og hyggeligt sted. Særlig velegnet til unge og hvis man er mere end én. Det ligger lidt lang ude i Brooklyn, så den 10 minutters gåtur hjem fra metroen føltes ikke så tryg hvis man går alene om aftenen, så brugte uber - hvilket til gengæld var ret billigt :) om dagen var det intet problem. Lejligheden er stor, ren og pæn, og det er hyggeligt med de andre besøgende, man møder indimellem nær man er hjemme. Alt man skal bruge er nemt at komme til og værten er hurtig og nem at få fat på hvis man har spørgsmål. :)

  Comments: Es tal como se muestra en las fotos, tienen que tener en cuenta que la ubicación no es la mejor o por lo menos si son solos ya que la estación de subte que te lleva a Manhattan queda a unas 8 largas cuadras y en mi caso no me parecía muy segura. El servicio de wifi en la sala funciona de 10 pero en la habitación no. En cuanto a los anfitriones solo conoci a Anthony que fue muy cordial y Alena la traté solo por msj que también fue muy amable. Si vas en grupo es distinto, pero solo se complica la sensación de seguridad en mi casa.

  Comments: I was here for about a month, which I am very gracious for. The place wasn’t as clean as one would expect. There is a no shoe rule inside; however, I was constantly stepping on things with my bare feet. With a month stay, I only had one towel and the sheets weren’t changed. Other than that it was a great stay. It is an easy walk to the subway, and easy ride into manhattan.

  Comments: Absolute peace. Alena's space does exactly what you want it to. I hardly saw/heard anyone, never had to wait for any amenities/utilities and was welcome to use all that was present. She's in the HEART of Bed-Stuy and the city is always 15 minutes away. I had a wonderfully chill stay.

  Comments: My room was just as the image. I felt really at peace after a long day in NYC, and I wish I could have stayed there for my entire trip. It might not be ideal for people taking subway back late or wanting to eat healthy nearby, but for people like me who want to come back to a chill spot with a clean bathroom and home after NYC tourist times, it’s wonderful! Alena is a gem of a host!

  Comments: The place was nice and easy. The room was small but comfortable. The only problem was that there is no ac and you’re on the top floor. The weather wasn’t too bad so the window open at night with a fan made it comfortable? But there’s a fair amount of street noise at times. This place will be perfect as the weather continues to get cooler and you don’t need an open window!

  Comments: Nice room in Brooklyn, located in a big apartment where many guests come and go. Not the cleanest option in town, not the best neighborhood to hang out (not much to do and not a lot of food options besides fast foods and pizzas), but still a good option considering the price. Fancier areas such as Bushwick are close-by and the transportation to Manhattan is super fast and easy (15-20min via the express train).
