Try a Korean BBQ, Chinese steamed dumplings or sit on a Sushi train. 2 minutes walk to bus stop, goes to Macquarie University, Macquarie Westfield shopping mall in 15 mins, to Eastwood station in 5 minuets. Buses go to Chatswood and Parramatta too. If you are in Sydney for over a week, this could be your place. Quality accommodation, easy transport, close to local eating places, and nice chilled host.
