Comments: We were the first people to stay there and I have to say that everything was thought of ahead of time. My daughter was extra cold the first night we stayed (a cold front moved in) and Antonio was so very considerate to make sure she had a warm comforter brought to her. Antonio was a first class host and I would recommend his places to anyone at anytime. Thank you so very much for everything

Comments: An affordable alternative to the outrageously priced Honolulu hotels, but house and amenities are old--might remind you of the home of an elderly relative. Neighborhood is fine and safe but a minimum 15-minute drive or Uber ride from downtown Honolulu and Waikiki. If you're looking for a place to use as we did -- to sleep and shower while you spent most of your time elsewhere on the glorious island of Oahu, this will be fine, but don't expect elegance.

    Comments: Great hideaway place.

Comments: This house was centrally located in a good neighborhood and was close to the mall and restaurants. Antonio was flexible and very responsive to our requests. However, when it rains the whole front yard floods which makes it difficult to get in and out of the house. This happened about 3 times during our stay and one time we had to move our cars up the street. The house is very old, internet/TV is spotty, and not all of the windows have locks (but pieces of wood were added once we shared our concerns with Antonio). Overall it met our needs as a long term, dog friendly, 2 bedroom rental but was not the most comfortable place for us.

Comments: Antonio's Dream Plantation House in Kaimuki was a fantastic place for my friend and I to stay for 2 weeks. Not only was it a good value, it was cute, conveniently located, and allowed us to live like locals and visit and meet locals and local businesses. there are many fantastic places nearby to eat at. There are also many grocery stores you can get your supplies at: Foodland, Safeway, Whole foods. There are several drug stores like Longs nearby if your prescription runs out. Antonio kept his place well stocked with essentials such as tp, paper towels, bath towels, soap, shampoo, etc. There is a washer and dryer which we were grateful for on our extended stay. The kitchen has everything you need to make simple breakfast and meals. We made eggs and portuguese sausage or kalua pork for breakfast. We made sandwiches and loco mocos for other meals, trying to live and eat local. We visited North Shore Grinds and Brew'd for food. Leonard's is nearby for malasadas as dessert. Not pictured is a cute back yard where there is a bench, and a faucet to wash off your swimsuits, rash guard, and snorkel gear. There is enough room to store longboards too. Atonio was very fast and helpful with answers to any questions we had. Thank you for the good experience and aloha. Mahalo

Comments: Antonio’s place is a convenient 15 minutes from both the airport and the beach. It was in a safe area, and was such a comfortable space. It had all the needed amenities, was very clean, and easy to access. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Comments: We have stayed at the two of the owner's other Historic homes. This was our favorite for it's affordability, easy access to the freeway, proximity to a mall, the position of the home to take advantage of the tradewinds, and easy parking. High recommend staying here if you'd rather have money for things to do or buy. The owner is responsive in case you need anything.

Comments: Great location; towels, beach towels and extra soap provided; the place was clean and quaint. It's an older home, but has reliable wifi, tv and is comfortable for a homebase to sleep. Would happily recommend and would stay there again! Oh and parking was a plus!

Comments: Antonio's place was wonderful. It was my first stay in an Airbnb and I couldn't have been happier. Antonio was very helpful with any questions I had and always responded very quickly! Definitely would recommend!

Comments: The location is what we enjoyed most about this place since we like staying in the Kaimuki area of Honolulu. The air conditions were great when it got hot. Check in and out was easy. Antonio was a hands-off type of host. We never even met him. The house is pretty old and only has the bare necessities, so be prepared to provide your own items when cooking and going to the beach. The backyard could also use some updating.

Comments: We stayed in this comfortable house for a week. It's nice to be outside of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, but close enough to drive there in 10 minutes. Having the parking space was a definite bonus as many Airbnb places within Waikiki don't include a space and finding parking there can be a major headache. It's a 5-10 minute walk to a mall and a supermarket which is very convenient, and it's also right on the freeway for getting around the island. The place is older and could use a few updates in some areas, but overall in terms of location and value it's great. It was nice to open the house up and have the tradewinds blowing through and when that wasn't enough the AC units worked well. There is a small backyard with some seating - it's not in great shape but it's usable. Would stay here again. Antonio was great with communication as well. Mahalo.

Comments: We stayed 5 nights at Antonio's cottage and loved it! I t is rustic being a historic plantation style residence. It is easy to access, in a great location near lots of nice cafes, yoga studios and restaurants. The beach and a nice mall with Whole Foods and theaters are just a couple of minutes away. The cottage is well appointed, very clean, and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. With the whole 2 bedroom cottage to ourselves, including washer and dryer out back and parking space in front, we couldn't have asked for more! Would definitely stay again.

Comments: We enjoy our stay here. The location is really convenient, it is within walking distance to the grocery store (but it is better to drive there given the temperature) and a mall, and a few minute drive if you want to relax in Waikiki or want to go some hiking in Diamond head. The place is clean and has all the necessities you need for travel. Most important, our host Antonio is great. He is quick to respond our messages, and do not hesitate to help us on a Friday night when we are having some medical emergency.

Comments: Great location, spacious rooms and vintage feels. Can’t use washer and dryer in late night because of the noise complaints from next door. Key box was seriously tough to open. Could get cold on winter time.
