Comments: The rooms are quite dark and not very pretty, but for this price - including a very good breakfast at Cafe Decolata - it's a good offer. Recommended for budget travelers who don't care about a fancy room and like free breakfast.

Comments: Gd place to stay for the price a bit noisy in the front room with traffic, planes, horns tooting. But an enjoyable stay.

Comments: David's place was fine. It was easy to get to from the airport by bus, which stops right outside the cafe shown in the pictures. As expected, the place has all the basic amenities one needs, and there are lots of restaurants in the area as well as a supermarket.

Comments: This is a good option for a cheap place to stay, but only if you plan to be out doing things during the day; the space is very small, not a problem if you make the most of your time in the city. The wifi is great, very helpful for trip planning etc. Kitchen and fridge is small; I spent most nights out with friends so this wasn't an issue. David was very communicative and fast to be so. I didn't have phone access until the day I was to arrive at his place and he was available for info and plannin (Website hidden by Airbnb) Not a far walk from king street and some other cool suburbs, and its a half hour metro ride to be at the opera house for reference (Even closer to the airport so its a good middle point). Overall a good cheap place to stay for non fussy travelers intending on seeing Sydney whilst saving some money.

Comments: This is great value and you can cook your own food with all plates etc provided. If I get more work at the same place I would really like to stay here again.

Comments: David's place is good for people on the go.. it's a really small room (I had 3 suitcases and ended up having to put one on the chair and another on the table just to save space). The walls are quite thin. Wifi is fast enough to use, sometimes a bit slow/spotty for watching things. I wasn't home a lot and I really just needed a place to sleep so this place was great. I saw David a few times during my stay and he was always very kind and welcoming. :)

Comments: This accommodation has 8 rooms (mine was approx 3m x 2.5m) and very basic, the bed was comfortable and there is a bar fridge in the room for your day to day needs. The premises are quite old and could do with a spruce up however the location for me was only 5 min from an event that I was attending so brownie points for that.

Comments: Prior to arriving at David's Airbnb, I did not have the false assumption that I would arrive to a luxurious room; I understood I was choosing a cheap price over great accommodations. What I did arrive to was nothing in which I had prepared myself for. The entrance was through a back alley, which I knew before, but I did not realize it would lead to a loading dock with stairs leading to a row of numbered rooms, an apartment or any type of real living conditions. After getting to the top of the stairs, I was instantly hit with the repulsive odor of the Airbnb. As I continued walking in, I noticed the bathroom in the dark hallway, which I instantly knew I would not be using, due to the smell getting stronger. I still held hope for my room, thinking maybe a fellow guest had left the bathrooms a mess. When I entered the room, I was even more disappointed. The sheets were clearly not changed and there was hair on the pillows, the floor was disgusting, there was no window and a hole in the ceiling, and the bed was held up by crates. The smell was just as strong in the room as it was in the entrance and hallway and I did not even feel comfortable putting my bags down. I sent David a message that the room was not accurately listed, and I was going to find different accommodations. I stayed at a hostel for the next few nights, only $3 more than David's Airbnb, and it was a dream compared to David's room. Before my arrival, David was very responsive with Airbnb messages, and sent me a very detailed message regarding my self check-in. He responded to my message about leaving his Airbnb within a few hours, offering me a different room in the same complex. I informed him I already made different arrangements in this time, and do not see how a different room could be much better. I asked for a full refund and he never responded. I contacted Airbnb, and they were able to get me 1/3 of the initial payment. Sad to say, but I do not recommend this Airbnb.

Comments: This place is good for the price! I loved my room. Very easy access to the city. A bit of construction noise, so I would suggest light sleepers to bring earplugs.

Comments: Cheap accommodation in Sydney. 5 km from downtown. Easy to reach everywhere by Uber or bus. Internet works. Hosts is very friendly and helpful. One consideration for claustrophobic people is the room does not have windows
