  Comments: The apartment (luxury suite in Sultanahmet #3) is exactly as pictured. It is located close to the main attractions which you can reach by foot within 10 minutes. The tram line is also within walking distance. A no-frills accommodation close to the attractions. Note to light sleeper, sensitive to sound : The apartment is one room out of a few in a three story building. Located on the ground floor right next to the main door to the building, you will hear other guests entering and leaving, as well as cars parked right outside starting their engines in the morning. There are occasional street cats fighting and people walking past into the night and you can hear them clearly. On my last night, a party of some sort was going on a few house away till about 11pm. Everything quieten down by midnight for the seven nights I was there and was not a major issue for me but I can definitely see light sleepers not getting a good night's rest.

  Comments: The apartment was perfect. It was exactly what we wanted, incredible location (less than a 5 minute walk to the blue mosque and Hagia Sofia) and attentive host. The airline lost my luggage and we were late to the apartment but the hosts were still outside waiting to greet us despite having no idea we were running late as we had no mobile phones. We had no way to really contact the airline and no contact info to leave for them to reach us but Savas went above and beyond and took it upon himself to make sure my bag was delivered. He must have been on the phone with the airline for hours and kept giving us updates and finally the airline came through and delivered my bag. We were only in Istanbul 2 days before going on with the rest of the trip to Greece and without his tenacity and help with the airlines I honestly don't think I would have my bag back. The apartment is on the smaller side, but was what we had expected and is as described. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and thank you so much Savas for your help! You definitely saved me and I really appreciate it. I look forward to coming back and staying at the apartment and enjoying a longer stay in Istanbul to take in more of the city. You can't beat the location of this place!

  Comments: Great location! In a quite area where you can walk to all the main attractions and restaurants,the room looks new and the space is perfect... Is not a full apartment, is more like a hotel with out a front desk, anyhow there is a minibar in the room and AC. We did not meet Savas, but we met Mustafa he was very nice and helpful. We totally recommend this place!

  Comments: We are very glad that we chose this place to stay. It is a wonderful neighborhood, very close to everything you want to see, but still very authentic. Unfortunately, we haven't met Savas, but the boy who welcomed us and gave us the keys was very friendly. He gave us a city map and was very eager to provide any otherhelp. We were sorry we had to leave the place very early and didn't have a chance to say goodbye.

  Comments: Stayed here in July 2014. The guestroom is on the ground floor with large windows to the quiet road offering plenty of light. Feels clean and fresh, as recently renovated. The shower room has a nice shower with good water pressure. Building is a nice characterful historical townhouse, with a roof-terrace offering excellent views of the estuary and sea, and the mosque. We were met in the building by Mustafa, who was really helpful and polite. We didn't get to meet Savas, but he was really helpful during the booking process. The building has about 5 rooms, but feels private - we only met other guests twice in four days. It feels like a boutique hotel without all the restrictions of a hotel. Location is incredible - in a local-feeling residential area, about 10 minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque. Tea shop (only 1 lira a glass) and a couple of small grocery shops on the street, and friendly local people. Excellent value for money. We would love to return!..

  Comments: This cute suite was amazing for my trip to Istanbul. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is a rooftop terrace that gives a beautiful panoramic view of the city. You can hear the call to prayer during the day which is incredible. The place has a great location. The only thing is the bed could be a bit more comfortable. It's true that you can hear the front door closing. It's not such a bother at night, more in the morning. Would definitely recommend staying here if it's your first time in Istanbul :).

  Comments: We stayed here just for one night with my friend. It is a cozy, clean, very central located, quite place in an antique (but ideal refreshed) house. The area around has the authentic atmosphere of old Istanbul. The room was looking exactly like you can see it in the picture. We were welcomed by Mustafa and got everything we needed for our short stay: linen, shower, WiFi, a map of the city and a key to the terrace on the roof with a view to Bosphorus and Blue Moscue on the roof. Recomend it to stay.

  Comments: e' posizionato vicino al centro ... noi siamo stati un pò sfortunati perchè abbiamo avuto la stanza al piano terra vicino alla porta che quando si chiudeva faceva rumore....era ad altezza strada e dovevi tenere le tende sempre abbassate perchè chiunque poteva guardare dentro, abbiamo avuto anche il problema di non avere l'acqua per fare la doccia dal tardo pomeriggio alle 10.30 del mattino oltre a non poter riposare nel pomeriggio per il rumore dei lavori degli operai e della porta ... il problema dell'acqua non è imputabile al gestore della stanza ma a problemi generalizzati credo dell' (Website hidden by Airbnb) pubblico...   Comments: Very modern and clean room, in an ideal place to visit the incredible city of Istanbul. Our host was really welcoming and arranged our transfers from and to the airport. However, room n°3 is in the ground floor, and it was very noisy at night during our stay : trucks starting their engines, people yelling, the entrance door slamming... But it is a good value for money and we had a good stay.

  Comments: Everything was as expected based on the reviews and the original posting. If you're sensitive to noise, book one of the higher floors apartment! The airport transfer was simple (though my name had some creative spelling), and Mustafa was there to greet me and set me up. Provided me with a map and gave me some suggestions. It's easy walking distance to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, but it is about 10 minutes and uphill so that's something to keep in mind!

  Comments: Such a great little spot in the middle of the Old City! The renovation of the building was very well done, and the room was clean, modern and inviting. You're close to all of Istanbul's best sites like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, but you're far enough away from the tourist traps so you can feel like a local. Plus you can take in the city from your very own private rooftop! Mustafa was an excellent, very accommodating and super thoughtful host. He even brought me breakfast the morning I had to leave! I only got to stay there one night, but I would have definitely stayed longer.

  Comments: Stay here. Seriously. Book this room. It is gorgeous, and perfect, and five minutes to the tourist sites and three blocks from an excellent fish restaurant. The taxi driver called the number they give you and then drove us straight there without any problem. The room is completely new and the bed is comfy and the bathroom is perfect. Savas' friend met us and gave us keys and showed us which way to walk to get to everything. The a/c is FANTASTIC and you can sleep very cold if you want. There's wifi and cable and towels provided. There is a little space in the hallway with guidebooks that you can use for sightseeing. Keypad entry into the building. I was not expecting this kind of quality in Istanbul. When I come back, I am staying here. My only complaint would be that the bed was a full size and not a queen, but I sound like a stupid American for even mentioning it. Plus, we slept like rocks because the bed was so comfortable.

  Comments: This accommodation was just as the picture shows - fresh with crisp white sheets and modern bathroom facilities. It is in an excellent location, just 5 minutes from all the interesting treasures in the historical part of Istanbul. We were welcomed by Mustafa who was so helpful and friendly. He answered our Istanbul questions, gave us good sightseeing suggestions, organised our laundry, helped us with our luggage - he couldn't have been more obliging. The rooftop area is great with a fabulous view over Sultanhamet to the sea. The address is a bit hard to find the first time but easy once you've become familiar with the neighbourhood. This is a very comfortable place to stay and we really enjoyed our time there.

The place was easy to found and finds itself in 10 minutes on foot of the Blue Mosque and Saint-Sophie. I strongly recommend this room if you want to live in the district of Sultanahmet.

  Comments: A 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the main Sultanahmet area, we enjoyed the convenience of staying in the heart of the historic old district, yet away from the touristy crowds. The place was more of a hotel room than an apartment, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Mustafa (the building manager) was helpful in helping us get orientated with the place and giving travel recommendations and tips.

  Comments: I needed assistance in finding the suites and Savas gave me the number of his manager, Mustafa, to arrange help in moving both me and my luggage from the hostel I was staying in initially. Mustafa was wonderful - polite, pleasant to chat with, helpful in moving all my luggage, and extremely generous with his time when I asked him innumerable questions. Suite #3 is an extremely pleasant room, well-furnished with excellent lighting and facilities. The neighborhood is low-key - few tourists walk it on a regular basis - but close to all the historic Sultanamet sights as well as the sea, with wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. I would certainly recommend this suite - and host - to anyone.

  Comments: We enjoyed our staying at Savas' Luxury Suite in Sultanhamet. The B&B is really central, close to the main touristic attractions and to many restaurants and café. Savas was very quick in his replies, and his helper, Mustapha, is a reliable and friendly manager. The B&B is clean and well organised.

  Comments: I spent 5 nights at Savas' place in December; I would say it's essentially a mini-hotel but it really is what it is described as: small comfortable room with wifi and warm water. The thing that impressed me was Mustafa (hope I spelt his name right): didn't get to meet Savas but Mustafa was a great host - had a nice chat over tea with him and he helped to call a cab for my friend and I on one of the days that we needed it. With regard to location it really is a safe place with other hotels in the vicinity, and as said in the description: 5-10min walk to the blue mosque/sultanahmet tram station. Really is a great vantage point for the Old Istanbul area!

  Comments: My girlfriend and I had a 20 hour layover in Istanbul, so decided to stay the night here. The apartment is right in the old district, which is easily accessible via public metro/tram system. Savas gave us the address of his apartment, but without walking directions, it was a little unclear as where to go ( (Hidden by Airbnb) maps wasn't clear). We realized after the fact that there was a map in the photo section of his listing. He gave us the cell number of one of his employees who was going to meet us, but without international cell service, it is tough to use. Once we met the employee, he was very friendly and helpful. His apartment was as pictured. The location was perfect: easy access to the big destinations, restaurants and a sweet view from the shared roof space. The space was mostly good. Warm, inviting, and ok wifi. Unfortunately when we settled into the bed, we discovered that the sheets hadn't been washed. There was no top sheet, and the bottom sheet had hair on it. Not what we were hoping to find. It was late, so we just slept on the blanket. We also found some of the molding in the bathroom to be breaking off as well. For the price, we expected a little nicer facilities.

It was very close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque in the Sultanahmet area (10min on foot) but the neighbourhood was apart from the crowd and noise of Sultanahmet area.   Comments: What a nice experience from beginning to end. Although we didn't meet Savas, he was very quick to response. Mustafa and his friend were very welcoming hosts and pleasure to deal with. They gave us good recommendations about sights, restaurants etc. The location was great. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. We had a little problem with the shower but upon contacting Savas, the problem was dealt with immediately. We had a great time in Istanbul and would definitely stay at Savas apartment again. I recommend staying here to everyone!

  Comments: We stayed 4 nights. Perfect location, size and amenities for our stay. Everything we wanted to see and do was a short walk (250m), or a few tram/train stops away. Communication was great. We used the offer of transfers from airport, but would use public transport next time. We arrived early morning and left our luggage at the apartment building while we explored - it was safe. Plenty of eating choices in the area. Train station nearby was closed for renovations (April 2015) but the tram was not too far anyway. Highly recommend to visit the Bascillica Cistern and walk Istiklal Cadessi (from Taksim Square downhill). If you want to experience an authentic Turkish Bath without the tourist price, catch a tram to Yusufpasa Tram Stop, find the other side of the main road past Aksaray Train St., wander up Sofula Cadessi, under the bridge and Sofula Hamam is on your right - the best (55TL + tip). Thanks Savas & Istanbul for a great holiday. We would definitely stay there again.

  Comments: Great room, it was exactly as pictured. Excellent location, impeccably clean. Everyone that we met was kind and they let us store their luggage there for the entire day while we wandered town, waiting to depart Istanbul via night bus. One problem was that there are children who live across the street who yell and scream and generally have a lot of fun all day and into the evening, and sometimes people stop and have loud conversations just outside. As the room is on the ground floor, it was quite loud, which was surprising given it's tucked away location. The building seemed to have a number of other rooms, as well, so if we were to go back we'd love to stay at the same place, just a room on a higher floor.

  Comments: it was a nice apartment near the old city center. the room is clean and the hosts are really helpful and they showed me around the city for the first day. there is also a patio where you can get nice view of the sea. the only pitfall is that the bathroom is a little bit small and the toilet doesn't work quite well

  Comments: Our stay at the suite was perfect. The location is amazing, easy to reach and close to all the major attractions. Sadly, we did not get the chance to meet Savas because he was out of town but we were received by Mustapha. He was very nice. Had a really interesting conversation with him and even offered to take us around the city center. The apartment itself is well furnished, clean and cosy! The best part was the rooftop and its view. We just couldn't keep ourselves from spending at least a couple of hours, up there, every night. Will definitely recommend it!

  Comments: We never met the host but a wonderful young man named Mustafa who was really helpful and even though our flight was 1.5 hours late he still met us and had a great attitude. The room was pretty much what you see in the picture, minus some of the decorative items. The hotel/ guesthouse is in an alley-way in the old part of city which was a bit odd but the view looked at the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia on one side and the sea on the other. We could walk to our tour and there was a lot of places within a 10-15 minute walk. The down side to the location was that outside was a bit noisy and to no fault of their own, there was a wedding one of the nights and it was super loud as the walls are thin. One of the best things in the roof top. A great place for the value in the right location.

  Comments: The flat was perfectly located in Sultanahmet in a charming residential area. Only 10 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The room was perfectly clean and modern with an en-suite bathroom, TV and fridge. The best part of the flat was the terrace on the top floor of the building with a great view of Istanbul!

  Comments: We didn't actually meet Savas, but we had a lovely young man called Mustafa help settle us in :) Both gentlemen answered all our questions promptly, and made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. The room was clean, and the house was in a really central area- very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and plenty of other historical attractions. The only downside was that there was no cooking facilities- just a basic area where we could make tea and coffee. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay there again if we are ever in Istanbul :)

  Comments: Wie booked the appartement for 1 week and also the transport from the Airport from Savas. We didn't met Savaş but Mustafa welcomed us very friendly at the appartemend and helped us during the whole stay if we had any questions.   Comments: 호스트는 저에게 자신의 전화번호와 집 전화번호를 모두 알려주었습니다. 또한 숙소 도착 전에 알아야 할 것들을 미리 메신저를 통해서 친절하고 체계적으로 전달해주었습니다. 저는 구글맵을 이용해 숙소를 찾아갔는데, 호스트가 알려준 주소는 정확했지만, 구글맵에 터키의 지도가 완벽하게 업데이트 되어 있는 것이 아니라서 숙소 근처까지 가서 정작 숙소를 찾지 못해 다소 곤란을 겪었습니다. 이때 호스트의 집으로 전화를 걸어 호스트의 아버지 되시는 분으로부터 필요한 정보를 추가적으로 얻을 수 있었습니다. 호스트와 호스트의 아버지 모두 영어를 하기 때문에 소통이 원활했습니다. 게다가 호스트는 여행 전부터 제가 여행 계획이나 이동 경로에 대해 조언을 구하면 친절하고 빠르게 답변해주었습니다. 덕분에 안심하고 제 계획을 따라 여행을 할 수 있었습니다. 숙소는 구시가지의 아야소피아와 술탄아흐멧 사원으로부터 도보 5분 정도 거리에 있습니다. 평균적인 체력을 가진 사람이라면 숙소로부터 이스탄불의 다른 관광 명소들로 이동하는 데 전혀 무리를 느끼지 않을 것입니다. 숙소 근처에는 상점가와 시장이 있어 간단한 음식이나 과일을 사는 것이 편리합니다. 그러면서도 주택가에 있기 때문에 상점가의 번잡함이 느껴지지는 않습니다. 숙소 건너편 주택에서 종종 파티를 열거나 아이들이 뛰어다녀서 아주 조용하지는 않지만, 평범한 주택가의 소음 정도를 벗어나지 않습니다. 숙소 설명은 정확했으며, 설명된 대로 화장실이 포함되어 있는 방 한 칸입니다. 시설은 말끔하고 침대와 화장실의 상태도 좋습니다. 변기를 사용할 때에는 버튼 두 개를 동시에 눌러야 물이 잘 내려갑니다. 처음에는 방법을 몰라서 물이 잘 내려가지 않는 줄 알고 걱정했지만, 이내 사용법을 알게 되었습니다. 청소 상태도 좋고, 에어컨 성능도 매우 좋습니다. 숙소 벽에 걸린 커다란 거울도 매우 편리하게 사용했습니다. 단, 저희가 도착했을 때 침대에 이불이 없어서 가지고 간 담요를 사용해야만 했습니다. 청소를 해주셨던 분의 실수인지, 아니면 원래 제공되지 않는 것인지는 잘 모르겠습니다. 다행히 터키의 여름 날씨가 매우 더워 이불이 크게 필요하지는 않았지만, 그래도 여분의 이불이 있다면 좋을 것 같습니다. 체크아웃 이후에도 숙소 로비에 짐을 두고 나갔다 돌아올 수 있습니다. 로비에 관리인이 없어 조금 걱정했지만, 안쪽에 가방을 잘 두면 의도적으로 누가 알고 가방을 함부로 가져가지 않는 이상 크게 걱정할 필요는 없을 것 같습니다. 숙소로 들어가는 대문은 열쇠로 열거나 번호키를 이용해서 열 수 있습니다. 보안 상태 역시 양호하다는 생각이 들었습니다. 위치 면에서나 위생적인 측면에서 전반적으로 매우 좋은 숙소라고 생각했으며, 이스탄불에 여행 가는 친구에게 추천할 수 있을 정도로 마음에 들었습니다. 편안하고 깨끗한 숙소 덕분에 이스탄불 여행이 더욱 즐거웠습니다.

  Comments: This was a reasonable room in a beautiful and convenient part of town. While we would have preferred a few more square feet and space to stow things, what was there was lovely and well kept. Unfortunately the toilet flusher persisted in having mechanical issues and while they serviced it the first time promptly, the second time they didn't come at all and we resorted to several days of pouring water bottles down the toilet to flush it. The hosts are generally responsive and helpful, keeping the roof terrace quite nice. If you're hypersensitive to smoke, don't stay in room 3 because when folks smoke outside it wafts in under the door and pollutes the room. It's also a little noisy some nights, but not overtly so.

And you have evrething you need down the street, stores, restaurants, souvenir shops. The apartment is nice and clean. There is also a roof terrace, which offers amazing views and a small kitchen in the vicinity. Separately, it should be noted the hosts Savas and Mustafa. They work very professionally and efficiently. Always ready to help and answer questions. p.s Mustafa makes an excellent Turkish coffee!

  Comments: We stayed 6 wonderful Istanbul days in this perfectly located appartment with a stunning roof top terrace. Our host Mustafa was waiting for us the night we arrived (pretty late); he even asked us on our way to the appartment if we needed any help in finding the place. We felt welcome immediately. Our room was perfect for a city trip: good bed to rest after a long day acting as a tourist and a good shower (although you certainly have to do the hamam experience!). We made our own breakfast in the communal kitchen and consumed it 'with a view'. Early evening, it's a great place for a drink and a read or for just enjoying the view. If you like to stay very close to the old town (Sultanahmet), but without the hassle and noise of a city... go here!

  Comments: Exactly as described. Lovely room, fridge, air con, very clean and great shower! There are more suites in the building and there are tea/coffee amenities on the top floor near the roof terrace. We didn't get to meet Savas but his colleague Mustafa was very welcoming and set everything up in terms of airport transfers, local knowledge. Sultanahmet is a great place to stay if you are looking for a slightly quieter area (compared with Beyoglu and Galatasaray) 5 minutes walks from the Blue Mosque which you can see from the roof terrace. there is also the main street which is full of great bars, cafes and restaurants. wo minutes walk to the port where all the ferries depart for Bosphorus ferry trips. We couldn't fault our stay at the apartment. Highly recommended 10/10

  Comments: Die Unterkunft ist schön, sauber und die Lage ist sehr gut (viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen). Die Gegend ist eher ruhig, auch wenn das Haus an sich ein wenig hellhörig ist. Absoluter Pluspunkt ist die wunderschöne Dachterrasse. Unser Gastgeber war zwar leider weder beim Check-In noch beim Check-out anwesend, er hat sich aber zwischendurch gemeldet und uns sehr gute Restaurant- Tipps gegeben.

Room is in a block of 6 or so assumedly similar rooms. Not a self contained APARTMENT, & nice but not luxury per se. Washing machine, elec jug, large bar 'frig, small micro wave, 4 plates & bowls, cutlery, cups & glasses, free tea/coffee in shared utility room adjacent to terrace 3 floors up. Tables & chairs only on open terrace. No pots, pans, hot plate or oven. A fold up is the only clothes drier.

  Comments: I was in Istanbul only for 3 nights and stayed at Luxury Suites owned and operated by Mr. Savas. Everything was perfect with the apartment. Very clean, internet worked great. No ever bothered me and it located only couple blocks from all main attractions in old Istanbul. It's a very safe area. I was coming back to the apartment quite late at night and I never felt unsafe walking the streets to get there. The apartment has a very nice terrace with a great view of the city and the mediterranean. They also have a little kitchen with coffee and tea, and dishes for you to prepare some light meals. You have access to it 24/7. It's a highly recommend apartment and very inexpensive. I will definitely stay there again. I did not meet Mr. Savas only Mustafa who I saw the very last day but I did not need him at all, since everything was fine and working perfectly. If you ever visit Istanbul and want to stay in a great, comfortable and inexpensive apartment just meters away from main attraction, look no further, stay in this beautiful suite.

Would have loved to stay longer. The room was very nice and comfortable. Mustafa was very welcoming and helpful. I requested transportation to and from Airport and Savas hired a taxi, so all we had to do was get off our plane. Everything was wonderful and took the stress away, so we could just enjoy every moment in beautiful Istanbul!

  Comments: Mustafa went out of his way, literally to meet me on way from airport. Lovely man and most helpful. sadly, however, as a high user of Airbnb, I had a different experience to many of the other clients. the area is VERY noisy... kins and teenagers on the streets late at night, playing loud music on ghetto blaster on Saturday night, about 10-14 teens I think... I begged them twice to quieten down and had to get out of bed twice and go out to them.... same thing on Monday night, when a local man walking a dog chased them. also alot of cars and vans coming and going until maybe 1am at weekend. I understand, the kids have no playground, so this is where they meet and play... not their fault.... but do not say quiet area when it is not. bedroom fine.... but if you wish to sleep, I suggest maybe somewhere else. Clean , tidy, and adequate. One thing though, I paid €184 for three nights, incl cleaning and fees.. much better and cheaper hotels in the area, so Savas might need to rethink his prices... lovely hotel, with breakfast €40 about 100m and very quiet.. many others similar.

If you're looking to spend a long time in the room, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you just need it to sleep then it's perfect! Sevas was very nice and he would answer right away to anything.

  Comments: We met with the the local contact, Mustafa, who took good care of us. Mustafa offered to make us tea and coffee. He's friendly and easy to get along with. After some initial confusion about the location (I recommend you have Mustafa's phone number handy), Mustafa showed us around the nice property. The views are stunning from the rooftop -- even better at night. Our suite was on the ground level facing the street. While there was some initial noise from neighbors speaking outside, no noise was heard when we went to sleep.

  Comments: We stayed two nights in Istanbul. This amount of time was enough for us to feel like we experienced everything we wanted to do / see. The apartment is comfortable and features the basic essentials - bed, shower, toilet. There's a terrace 3 or so flights of stairs, it was too cold to really sit and enjoy. The apartment itself certainly isn't 'luxury' in any form of the word but we were fine with that. Location wise, we got a airport transfer organised by Mustafa and it was a lot more expensive than any other private shuttle company you could find by a (Hidden by Airbnb) search but for simplicity we opted to go this way. If you're on a budget look for alternatives. The place is located in the Old Town, it's quite a trek to get anywhere. I do strongly recommend if you book this place you go to Tria Terrace Restaurant for the best meal we had in Turkey - short walking distance from apartment. We would walk to Grand Bazaar and it would take 30 mins or to Galata and it would take 1 hr - fine for us because we're active people and enjoyed the walk but for those not up for lots of walking and don't want to get cabs everywhere then consider somewhere else. We didn't get to meet Mustafa directly but he was helpful with any correspondence via messages sent.

  Comments: The apartment was very nice, modern, and located in the center of the Sultanahmet neighborhood. The staff person who helped us get into the apartment, Mustafa, was also really helpful - he gave some good recommendations for restaurants and called us a cab to get to the airport. The roof top patio had amazing views of the bay and the neighborhood. If you are in Istanbul as a tourist, staying in this neighborhood is a great idea because everything you need to see is in walking distance.

  Comments: Savas friend Mustafa warm welcome made us feel right at home. The room we had on the lower floor was close to the street where families hangout till around 20:00 some boys played football which was interesting for us to hear. The room is bright and modern with aircon and with little fridge however no kitchen which we expected. There is a comunity kitchen shared on the top floor but no cooking facility. All in all good experience and Mustafa took the time to show us everything and gave us good tips etc.

  Comments: We highly recommend this wonderful place to stay. Mustafa met us and gave us a great introduction to the apartment. He gave us many suggestions on restaurants to eat at. The apartment is extremely clean with a comfortable bed. There is a mini fridge in the room. The bathroom is small but it works perfect with plenty of hot water. Just around the corner we ate our Turkish breakfast at a little cafe with a super nice owner. It is also a great place to have a glass of wine. Istanbul itself was a fabulous stay and I encourage all people to visit - don't let the media scare you away. We are so happy we went.

  Comments: My wife and I were very excited to stay at this wonderful little spot in Istanbul. Our host was incredibly gracious. Since we don't speak Turkish, he spoke to our taxi driver over the phone to give directions from the airport and greeted us when we arrived. The room was cozy, but very welcoming, and the rooftop has an incredible breathtaking view of the Sea of Marmara and the nearby mosques. We had a great night walking around the cobbled streets, eating musakka, sampling Turkish delights, and drinking salep! The location is a 15 minute walk from many great spots to visit (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc), and there is a great coffee shop downstairs with WiFi where we sat and worked and had Türk Khavesi (Turkish coffee) and çay (tea). We would definitely recommend this spot to travelers looking for an affordable spot with easy access to the sights and sounds of Istanbul.

  Comments: I came to Istanbul for 5 nights in December. Our flight arrived very late, but a late check in was not a problem at all. This place has the best location and it was also very easy to find. Room was very clean and cozy. Heat and shower also worked very well. All in all, Savas's place is more like a tiny hotel, than a local apartment, but very lovely in any way. Would visit again anytime. :-)

  Comments: The place is small, but really all a single traveler needs. It would be cramped for a traveling couple. I found it a little small even for myself, but open the window and you forget about that. I was in room #3 which is at ground level. Bring your Apple TV, iPad, and/or HDMI cable. There is a TV, but I could not get it to work. The internet is decent. For some strange reason the electricity in the city went out for several hours. This was no fault of Mustafa's though. Just beware when traveling to Turkey! The place is really clean, and the bed is comfortable!!!! Enjoy! I recommend it.

  Comments: The location was great for exploring the city- only about a 5 min walk to Aya Sofia and the Topkapi Palace, very easy to find as Savas directions were great. Lots of local bars and restaurants within an easy walk. Just be aware that the kitchen is shared with the other guests - which was never a problem. We were there in January and it was a lovely warm place to retreat back to out of the snow.

Although it takes a little time to get the room from the tram station, Sultanahumet, very good apartment it was!!! 他の皆さんのﾚﾋﾞｭｰ通り､本当にとても良い部屋､良いﾎｽﾄです!! 近隣のお店の方々もとてもﾌﾚﾝﾄﾞﾘｰで､安心してｳﾛｳﾛできます｡ 屋上の景色は写真通り本当に美しくて､反対側のごちゃごちゃした景色もｼﾞﾌﾞﾘｱﾆﾒに出てきそうな雰囲気で私はとても好きです｡ 料理ができるｷｯﾁﾝはありませんが､ｸﾞﾗｽ等の食器､ﾎﾟｯﾄ､ﾁｬｲはあります｡ #3は1階なので､重い荷物のある場合でも楽でした｡ 部屋は9~10帖ぐらいの広さかな｡広いとは言えないけれどｽｰﾂｹｰｽ2個広げられるｽﾍﾟｰｽは十分あります｡冷蔵庫もあり､ｺﾝﾊﾟｸﾄで無駄がなく過ごしやすい部屋でした｡ とにかく､ﾎｽﾄ､立地､部屋､周辺環境､その他いろいろ含め､ｺｽﾄﾊﾟﾌｫｰﾏﾝｽがめっちゃ高い部屋でした｡絶対おすすめです!!!

  Comments: Savas' place is situated near the most frequented historic sites of Istambul, still it is quiet. There is a highly rated fish restaurant 50ms from the place, which we enjoyed twice during our 5-day stay. The view of the city and the Marble sea is spectacular from the roof terrace. And you can't miss the muezzines' call to the five daily prayers even if you wanted to. But hey, you are in Istanbul!

  Comments: A really nice room, clean and well maintained with a very nice bathroom. A little noisy being on the ground floor, but not a problem. Nice shared roof terrace with a great view. Location is good, a few minutes walk to the seafront and 5 mins walk to restaurants and bars.

  Comments: Savas' place is exactly as described. It is in an excellent location, very clean, and the rooftop view is awesome. We were even allowed to keep our bags in the room for a while after we checked out so that we could pick up later before our flight. I recommend this place if you are visiting for a few days and plan to see lots of the sights in Sultanahmet.

  Comments: After what seemed a long ride from the airport, I was dropped off at the location. I was welcomed and shown the room. The room was perfect. At first I thought I was in the middle of nowhere when I started walking, then I turned a corner and realized I was blocks from everything I wanted to see, the bazaar, the mosques, the old city. Turkey is beautiful and the people very friendly.

  Comments: Хорошая комната прямо в историческом центре города (около 8 минут пешком до Голубой мечети, недалеко от набережной). Качественный ремонт, мебель. Великолепный панорамный вид с террасы на Босфор и мечети. Комната была на первом этаже и вечером иногда были слышны разговоры людей на улице, так что рекомендую захватить беруши, чтобы выспаться.

  Comments: Good location and cheap, however this is not a full flat as advertised and is little more than a room. There is access to a coffee machine and the balcony, but they are shared. Also, the bedding had stains on it which we weren't too impressed with. For the price, it was ok, but the description is misleading as this certainly isn't "luxury".

  Comments: Savas building is simple, clean and great if you're staying in Istanbul for 3-5 days. It's located in a cozy and quiet neighborhood which we really enjoyed. There were tons of restaurants in a short walking distance which was helpful in the morning and evening. The roof deck view exceeded my expectations and it was very relaxing to spend time up there in the evening (and during the day). If you are just looking for a place to rest your head and shower, this is the spot. There is a washing machine and a small kitchen, but I would say the roof deck is the real treasure.

  Comments: The location of Savas's place is perfect- a short walk from the water, major attractions, good restaurants, and public transportation. The building has a small kitchen on the top floor and a terrace with beautiful views. The room was clean and well-equipped. I didn't meet Savas, but he was very responsive through messages. I did meet the housekeeper, Lale, who was very sweet and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

  Comments: Das Zimmer liegt ca. 5 Gehminuten (bergauf) von der Hagia Sofia und Sultanahmed Moschee entfernt, also super zentral. Ich musste bei der Anreise etwas suchen, aber ein Freund von Savas kam nach einem Telefongespräch heraus und hat mich auf der Straße empfangen, also super Service. Bei Eurer Anreise am besten bis Sultan Ahmed Station der Straßenbahn fahren und dann (bergab) von (Hidden by Airbnb) (oder mit Stadtplan) bis zum Zimmer führen lassen. Klima, Kühlschrank und Sat TV ist vorhanden, habe ich aber nicht genutzt. Das Bad war sauber und heißes Wasser beim Duschen auch durchgehend sofort ausreichend da.

  Comments: This place is in a prime location. Walking distance to the blue mosque and haga Sofia. The place is good for a couple nights not longer than that. It can be a little noisy outside in the early morning. The host came in our room late at night to get the TV fixed even once we said no. Savas was great and easily contactable about any issues and offered to help as much as possible.

  Comments: My husband and I flew into Istanbul very late night and we checked in at 1:30am despite that Savas was super responsive and we checked in and settled with great ease. The space is cosy and the place is at a comfortable walking distance from all main attractions and a lot of great restaurants. Cabs are easily available at a 3 min walk. Great experience and highly recommended.

  Comments: Хорошее местоположение, на самом деле рядом с Султанахмет, но как только проходишь под ж/д дорогой, райончик кажется немного забытым, хотя это только ощущения. Рядом магазинчики, рестораны на каждом углу. До моря 3 минуты ходьбы, можно выйти на классную набережную. Поднимитесь на крышу! Наверху открывается потрясающий вид на море и Голубую Мечеть. Наверху есть маленькая кухня, где можно сделать чай/кофе. Комната красивая, стильная, уютная, что не скажешь о кровати. Нам было крайне неудобно, матрас "деревянный". Во время нашего проживания случился потоп: прорвало трубу на крыше, и вся вода лилась по лестнице куда-то вниз. Хорошо, что не залила номера (не уверены насчёт номера на цокольном этаже). В здании не было никого, я звонила хозяину, отправила ему видео и сообщение. Муж метался по округе, чтобы понять, где найти кого-то, чтобы остановить потоп. Хорошо, что минут через 40 пришла женщина, которая нас заселяла и стала метаться вместо мужа. За реагирование на проблему жирный минус. Понимаем, что потоп - не вина хозяина, но вот реагирование на проблему (тем более такого масштаба) могло бы быть более быстрым. Хотя справедливости ради отмечу, что когда в ванной перестал работать слив унитаза, а также были перебои с горячей водой (её не было), я написала хозяину, к вечеру проблемы были устранены. В общем, рекомендовать не стала бы. Но если решите заезжать, берите беруши, т.к. слышимость очень хорошая. Итог. Плюсы: вид, комната, расположение, инфраструктура. Минусы: общение (ситуация с потопом), матрас, слышимость.

  Comments: Savas place was perfect for seeing the sights in Sultanahmet! Only 5-10 minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace as well as tons of restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also loved the view from the terrace. Would definitely stay again!

  Comments: Номер нам понравилась. Хозяин быстро отвечает на сообщения. Нас встретила и разместила приветливая девушка(забыла как ее зовут) Она говорит на русском, что очень нам облегчило задачу. Всегда была готова прийти на помощь. Терраса на верху имеет вид на море и мечеть. Очень красиво, но не помешало бы ее облагородить. В номере чисто. На кухне имеется микроволновка, холодильник, но он был и в номере, посуда, фужеры, стиральная машина. Плиты нет, но и необходимости в ней нет в Стамбуле. Готовая вкусная еда на каждом шагу продается. До моря спуститься минут 10 максимум даже чуть меньше. До Голубой мечети идти минут 15. Минимаркеты рядом с домом. Из недостатков: не было фена в номере, ночами шумно за окном, слив в душе и туалете плохо работал. В целом все понравилось.

The location was perfect if you're going to be visiting a lot of the attractions as it's a walking distance from plenty of restaurants and things to do. It's located on a quiet street, so noise wasn't a problem while sleeping. The room was the perfect size for 2 of us as we had little luggage and were barely in the room. I think this is a perfect spot if you're going to be touring the city all day as we were. Make sure you spend your mornings and/or nights on the terrace. It's a beautiful view of the city and Bosphorus! Note that this room is on the first floor, so we kept the blinds closed most of the time, which left the room pretty dark. I highly recommend staying here!
