  Comments: A good place to stay if you want to discover the big Apple like a new yorker. All you need is in the appartement. located near from everything. Michael and Tommy are really cool !

  Comments: The best thing about this apartment it's the location, between the 8th and 9th, very close to the Penn Station and Port Authority if you want go outside of Manhattan and also it was close to the High Line. In this street there is a city bike station which was quite useful for us to discover the city. On the downside I would say the use of the heating system was a bit strange because there were nights that we were sweating and had to open a window. Also if you are looking for glamour this is not the place, it is clean but the furniture is there to be useful not pretty. To be honest we only went to the apartment to sleep so for us it was quite enough.

  Comments: Great location, a very short walk to penn station, subway lines, west village and shopping areas. Plenty of space within apartment and bed was comfortable. Being on the ground floor and right next to the building entrance it can be quite noisy hearing people come in and out of the building, and also the people on the floor above are heard walking around, but for the convenience of location these aren't major issues. Michael was a great host, checking in every couple of days to ask if I'd needed anything. Tommy, the super, was also there for any questions I had and both were very accommodating. Check-in and check-out were very simple. I would definitely stay here again next time I travel to NYC.

  Comments: La principale qualité de cet appartement est son emplacement: on a pu tout faire à pied (ou presque) durant notre semaine à NYC. L'appartement est propre et fonctionnel. Ce n'est pas le grand luxe mais ce n'est pas ce que nous recherchions. L'appartement est situé en rez-de-chaussée près de l'entrée de l'immeuble il y a donc un peu de bruit, mais c'est assez calme durant la nuit. Michael et Tommy ont été très disponibles et réactifs lorsque nous avons eu des problèmes dans l'appartement. C'est rassurant lorsqu'on voyage. Je recommande !

  Comments: Appartement dans un quartier plutôt calme pour New York ( on entend les voisins plus que la rue), très bien placé, près de Penn station pour l'arrivée depuis JFK. Appartement dans un vieux immeuble, décoration minimaliste mais confortable et propre. Excellent séjour, Michael est très sympas.

  Comments: Wir waren vom 03. Juli - 13. September 2014 für einen Sprachaufenthalt in New York und wohnten während dieser Zeit in der Wohnung im Erdgeschoss. Diese ist ein wenig grösser als die restlichen Wohnungen im Gebäude = hat ein separates Schlafzimmer, welches direkt ans Badezimmer angeschlossen ist. Die Lage der Wohnung ist top, ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss zum Times Square und 3 Minuten zur Penn Station. Obwohl die Wohnung direkt an der Strasse liegt, kann man nachts gut schlafen und es ist erstaunlich ruhig. Einzig die hereinkommenden Bewohner hört man ziemlich gut. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Wohnung leider nicht gereinigt und mussten dies somit selber machen. Michael kam uns hierfür entgegen und brachte uns einen Staubsauger zur Benützung während des gesamten Aufenthalts. Wir hatten zudem mehrmals Besuch von Kakerlaken. Am Tag unserer Abreise kam jedoch der Schädlingsbekämpfer - somit sollte dieses Problem gelöst sein. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Tommy wie auch Michael können jederzeit kontaktiert werden, wenn es Probleme gibt. Wer keinen Luxus oder Schweizer Standard erwartet, ist in dieser Wohnung an perfekter Lage gut aufgehoben.

  Comments: The apartment was perfect for us, three teenage girls. The location was perfect, with only minutes to Penn Station. Michael was really nice and helpful, couldn't wish for a better host. All the descriptions of the apartment were as expected and we had a really good time!

  Comments: We stayed at this apartment for a little over 2 months. Upon our arrival, the apartment was cleaned, and we were given fresh towels and linen. The place was as described in the listing - one large room with 2 full size beds, a smaller room with another full size bed, and a bathroom connected to the smaller room. Very basic, but it was fine for us since we didn't spend much time there. Michael was very responsive throughout the summer and checked in with me several times to make sure things were going smoothly. The building super, Tommy, was also helpful when issues came up. Would recommend to students / young adults working in the city short-term. One should note that although it is located in a convenient location (near Penn Station, Chelsea Market, etc.), the block the apartment was on was somewhat sketchy at night. Overall a pleasant stay and a good value space.

  Comments: The apartment was very well located to transportation, walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Michael was quick to access and in general the building is safe. Appreciated the clean linens and bed sheets.

  Comments: We had a good experience renting from Michael. The location on the apartment is perfect, close to the high line, Madison square garden and penn station. The apartment was bigger then we thought which is a plus. We had a cockroach inside but a person came the day after to spray the apartment. Since the apartment is on the first floor it's easy to get in and out but it was not very soundproof so you could hear people in the hallway very clear. Overall a good place to stay, the location really is perfect! :)

  Comments: Michael was an excellent host. He was easy to get in touch with and very friendly. The apartment was perfect for 3 college students living in NYC for the summer who want an alternative to NYU dorms. 3 beds was a huge plus.

  Comments: Micheal is an awesome host. He is very responsive and offered us what we wanted but didn’t feel like asking for. He came to show us the place before we book which is very kind of him. The room looked exactly like in the picture. The beds were queen size and very comfortable to sleep in. The kitchen was sufficient with enough plates , utensils, and glasses. The only thing is the low flow toilet which clogs sometimes but Micheal will always come to help quickly when it occurred. Location is 5-7 mins walk to 34-Penn station and other lines which is super convenient. There is a supermarket close by perfect for long term stay if you need to cook. All and all i will definitely recommend this place and Micheal to my friends who might come to NYC. This stay exceeds our expectation. We had a great experience here.

  Comments: Michael was a great host, we can't thank him enough. He was always around and available should there be an emergency. He also provided us with all the amenities we needed. Being 3 students studying abroad at FIT, this place was in fact closer than the halls of residence themselves. We were all extremely happy with our stay and even met some amazing friends next door who changed our experience of NYC. I would definitely recommend Michael to anyone who is studying abroad as he caters for everyone and Airbnb is your safest option for a shorter period of time. Thanks again Michael!
