  Comments: What a fantastic apartment right next to Central Station. This opens up the entire city to you through the trains, buses and light rail. Use the Opal card to save on costs. The living room is well laid out and the couch is well built and comfortable. The TV is run through the Internet so there are many options to chose from. The closest market is downstairs and a small Woolworth a block away. The unit is in a secure building and on the top floor for great views. If you like trains, you will love it more! The kitchen has everything to make your own meals, which we did. When we arrived Alexey and Olga had a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us. Very thoughtful and considerate host. The bed was very comfortable. We used the downstairs bathroom with the large tub and shower, so convenient. The stairs are easily manageable but not for wheelchair users. The bathroom upstairs has a shower and the washer and dryer. That is such a plus for travelers. I would say we were able to enjoy our week in Sydney so much more because we rented this apartment. This is the very best value to be found and we're thankful we booked it. Highly recommend and would book it again if in Sydney.

  Comments: Great centrally located apartment. I loved the balcony - it's a real suntrap and a lovely place for an afternoon drink. The bed was comfortable and it's great there are two bathrooms - one on the living/dining level and another off the bedroom. It's opposite central station, so it's really easy to get everywhere via train. Just note there is some construction going on - firstly on the road outside (it's literally all ripped up) so you need to catch a Uber from the road around the corner. Secondly the building is under maintenance (roof terraces being are renovated) - but it didn't concern me at all. Wifi was good and quick. Overall I'd happily stay there again and really enjoyed my stay.

  Comments: A very clean and neat apartment, provided by a fantastic host who communicates promptly, was happy to accommodate my very late arrival time, and provided a number of thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine on arrival. Proximity to Central station is great, meaning access to the CBD is very simple, and the background noise is not disruptive (and ends completely in the later evening anyway). A great place to stay for solo or couple travellers looking to get out and explore, or a business person (as in my case) who need quick access to the CBD paired with a clean, safe place to come home to each night.

The apartment is in immaculate condition and is very homely. Alexey has furnished it beautifully and we were availed ourselves of the nespresso coffee machine and various DVDs available. The apartment is a stone's throw from both Central station and Surry Hills which has some awesome cafe's, restaurants and bars!   Comments: The place was great and Alexey was an amazing host. It’s a central location and easily accessible to the train. This place is perfect for those who have never used a train before because all trains end up at this location. The train system starts in a loop first and then branches out into the rest of the city and his place is within this loop. The place is much larger than what the pictures depict. 2 floors with 2 full bathrooms and 2 balconies. There is a very nice restaurant below. Prior to staying in the apartment we thought the noise from the trains would be a problem at night but I️ dont actually remember hearing them. So I️ basically slept like a baby and I’m a very very light sleeper. It could be that the trains stopped running at night but I’m not actually sure. All in all, this is a great place to stay. We highly recommend it.

The building is the best for traveler by train and also could be used for ones who wants walking along to the City, Hyde park.   Comments: This is a fantastic apartment right in the middle of things. Alexey was a great host and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is very thoughtfully provisioned - you have everything you could need so you do feel very much like you are home away from home. Fanatastic location just near to lots of great eateries - and directly opposite Central Station. I have already recommended this place to friends. Their is construction on the street outside but this did not impact on us at all. The apartment really added to our experience of Sydney.

  Comments: Love love loved this apartment! The personal touches around the space with the paintings and books really made it cozy and comfortable. Complimentary Nespresso pods were also definitely a plus; however, once we discovered the breakfast place downstairs, we took every chance to order coffee from there. Seriously, some of the best food just in the next building over. Multiple other eateries and shops in walking distance. The train station is less than 3 minutes walking and Chinatown is 15 minutes walking. Usual city sounds come in from the outside but nothing loud to complain about. Would definitely stay at Alexey and Olga's place again if I ever return to Sydney.

  Comments: Where do i start. This is a fantastic location, right beside Central train station. If you wanted to walk the town, you had great access to walk to Circular Quay, Paddy's Market or Darling Harbour. Your were pretty well within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and liquorland to name a few. The apt is kept in great condition and had comfortable beds. The balcony was a great place to wind down for the evening. WiFi is provided and was pretty solid. Our host, Alexey, was always on top of things. He met us upon our arrival and was always just an email away with quick responses to any questions i had. If you want a host that is looking out for your best interests, and is a great communicator Alexey fits the bill. Thanks for a great week Alexey!

  Comments: Die Wohnung ist einfach klasse! Liegt direkt vor dem Hauptbahnhof von wo aus man im minutentakt in alle Richtungen fahren kann. Mit der Bahn ist man in 10 Minuten am circular quay und es gibt auch eine direkte Verbindung zu den Blue Mountains! Alexey ist ein toller Gastgeber! Er hilft bei allen Problemen, gibt dir Tipps und fährt einen sogar zu orten zu denen man möchte :) Die Wohnung an sich ist super! Sehr viele Küchenutensilien, Shampoo und der Rest ist alles vorhanden! Wir würden sofort wieder diese Wohnung nehmen, wenn wir nach Sydney kommen!

  Comments: Alexey's place is comfortable, spacious for 2 people, and in a great location. The unit is in an apartment building just across from the Central train station with easy access to CBD of Sydney (10 min train ride or 20 min walk). The unit is 2 levels, with a full bathroom, washer/dryer and kitchen. Communication with Alexey was fast and straightforward. We were able to self check-in early, and the instructions were clear and easy. We didn't have a chance to meet Alexey, but he checked in with us during our stay. We had a great stay and hopefully will be back to visit Sydney and stay here again!

The flat is spacious with two floors + roof separating living room and bedroom, together with two washrooms. We enjoyed staying at the roof for the sunset. Alexey is one of the Best Host I have met. He has tried his every effort to let us have a nice stay and responded promptly. He was willing to offer us helps when we were in need. Incidentally, the lift was out of order for a couple of days during our stay. It was really out of Alexey's control. He has even come to carry luggages and drive us to the airport.   Comments: This was my first AIRBNB Experience, I truly enjoyed the creative and functional space. Three balconies were incredible, great city skyline views. Very quiet building. It is close to the train station, but this does quiet down around 11pm every night. The place is warm, the heaters are warmer and the two guest bathrooms meant I could enjoy the privacy of my own space and visitors could use the one upstairs. The tv didn’t quite work with limited reception; but if you don’t want to watch television or sports the whole time you’re there - head on out and experience SYDNEY night life just a stone throw away and in some cases, right next door! If you want a cheap quick eat - dominos pizza is down stairs; that was great for a sobering up recovery with my parents who visited. For my first AIRBNB experience this house was exceptional and Alexey was very hospitable, I had planned on visiting with my partner but they broke up with me before I arrived from Melbourne. Alexey was very sweet leaving a bottle of wine for me and checking in on me to make sure I was okay. All in all an amazing experience.

  Comments: The apartment was as descibed, Alexey was a responsive host. There was something happening at Central Station in the wee hours that meant sirens were going off all night, and the construction in Chalmers St was noisy, but that didn't start til 9 am. The first night was totally fine, slept like logs. You need to be ok with stairs and the mattress is on the floor. The mattress is a good one. The apartment has everything you could want, great kitchen and bathroom. It was handy having two bathrooms. Being right near Central is great for transport, we got to town late and were still able to get the train to Circular Quay in time for the show.

  Comments: Alexey was amazing to work with. He worked to make our check in/check out times best to fit our schedule. He had wine waiting for us, which was a nice personal touch. Everything with keys exchanging went very smooth. He kept great contact throughout the stay. The area is right by the train station, at the moment there was some construction so parking would be very difficult to find. There is a cafe/pizza place and servo on the bottom floor which was very convenient. The apartment itself is very trendy, with a small lounge are, but bring DVDs to watch! The balconies were lovely, and caught the sun all day.

Our booking was very last minute and Alexey's responses were very prompt - very good communication. The one negative was the noise from the station which was quite noticeable from the bedroom.

  Comments: Alexy's flat is next to Central Train Station. That makes it very convenient to get around Sydney. The deck is nice. Flat is small, but that is expected in middle of a big city. Everything you need is provided. There is no WiFi, which was disappointing. The blinds don't cover the whole window, so there is quite a bit of light at night. There is also noise from Central Station. If you are a sensitive sleeper, this might not be the best spot. Otherwise I recommend it. He is a responsive host.

Would highly recommend. The apartment is close to transport and a 30 minute walk to the CBD.

  Comments: This apartment is very interesting on 3 levels so make sure you can handle stairs;) I found the location fascinating. Directly opposite the railway station and work going on putting in the light rail but it did not impact in the evening at all. Loved sitting on the balcony with generous bottle of supplied Chardonnay, people and train watching. And the lovely city lights beyond. Though the trains seem to go through the night ( I looked if I got up) I did not hear (Email hidden by Airbnb) fortable mattress (on floor as in photos) and lounge to relax on after a long day out and about. I wish I’d had time to read some of those great looking books! Very homey and comfy and great location to get to anywhere!

  Comments: This is the ideal location for a single person or couple if you plan on travelling around Sydney and to country NSW. Public transport to everywhere is at your doorstep including trains, buses and light rail. A small convenience store is next door for milk and snacks. The range there, however, is limited and you would struggle to find ingredients to make a meal. Other food options are very close by. The bed is very comfortable and the balconies have nice views over Central Station towards Haymarket. Although there was a little bit of noise from the trains, it was minimal.

  Comments: Alexey 's house located next to the Central Station which is very convenient for all travellers. The house is clean, stylish design, with a lovely balcony, all amenities are provided. However there were little problem about the shower tap and aircon, but Alexy responded quickly and promised to fix it. So the house still highly recommended.

  Comments: Alexey’s place is exactly as pictured and is very clean. It might be a little noisy for light-sleepers due to the close proximity to the Central railway station, but the location is perfect for travellers wishing to explore Sydney CBD on foot or public transport! The main issue we had during our stay was that the only elevator in the building was not working. Carrying heavy luggages up and down 8 levels would not be ideal so it may be good to check if the building management has repaired the elevator

  Comments: Pros: Central location: This Airbnb is Surry Hills and is extremely close to the central station which has ties to many lines. Perfect for those who want to convenience and close to some of the popular and trendy bars. Quick responses: Alexey's response were quick which we appreciated. We had a change in date in our Airbnb and he was flexible in changing dates. Cons: Unclear directions: We would have preferred more clear direction and a step by step using AirBnB check in process. We spent (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes looking for the building because the (Hidden by Airbnb) Map didn't pin point us the cab to the right location and the direction detailed was confusing. We used both Uber and 13cab and they both dropped us to the back of the building. Broken elevators for the entire trip: We completely understand that this is out of Alexey's control. This is an old building so it was not a surprise. That said, we wish Alexey informed us about the broken elevator in advance. One of the neighbours mentioned that the elevator was broken for a few days and it's not an uncommon thing for it to happen to the building. Carrying 2 luggages + carry on to the 8th floor was extremely challenging. Please watch out if you are carrying luggages or have a small family. Initial feedback given: When we shared with you our initial feedback about the direction, elevators and the humidity in the room, Alexey's responsive was defensive instead of finding a solution. He subsequently suggested that we could leave to a new hotel/airbnb with a full refund with receipt. We were taken by surprise because our feedback was honest and were simply looking to help him as a host. We were surprised to have read that message without any solutions. It felt like he'd rather have us leave so that he can avoid any possible reviews.

  Comments: Unfortunately we only stayed one night, instead of the intended 5 nights. The lift had broken down and the apartment was on the 8th floor. 2 large suitcases and 8 flights of stairs for 5 nights, it just wasn't convenient so we moved to a hotel. Alexey (the host) was very helpful and quick to respond to the issue, refunding the rest of our stay. The lift was fixed the next day, but by then we'd booked the hotel already. On the upside, the apartment is as per the pics. Very clean, the mattress was comfy and lots of space in the apartment. Nice white wine on arrival too. The location is great, but do pack ear plugs if you're a light sleeper - right opposite Central train station, which is very busy. Also some roadworks taking place.

  Comments: Nous avons apprécié l'appartement qui est très bien placé pour tous déplacements dans Sydney, sa vue, le confort de la chambre et la réactivité d'Alexey. Nous avons aussi eu droit à la panne d'ascenseur, mais que sur 2 jours. Les travaux pour la nouvelle ligne du tram étaient au pied de l'immeuble et très bruyants (ils seront terminés fin 2019) mais cela était gérable avec les boules quies. Aussi, nous avons évité de nous asseoir dans le canapé, rigolo, ancien mais défoncé et poussiéreux. Au final, nous avons apprécié notre séjour chez Alexey et n'excluons d'y retourner peut-être en 2020

  Comments: Good location next to central station. Fairly spacious unit with lots of amenities. It is particularly suitable for younger people. Alexey is an excellent, caring host. The unit can be hard for taxi or Uber driver to find, but the entrance is just a few meters left of Dominoes Pizza. Light sleepers may have difficulty with light as the blackout curtains do not fully close.
