  Comments: This Airbnb was amazing. The apartment was absolutely PERFECT. It was spacious, brand new and clean. The bed was very very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the shower was large and good. There is also a great large lanai, very very nice, even on rainy days. The complex also had a pool, jacuzzi and BBQs. The apartment was amazingly well equipped. Larry thought of EVERYTHING: sunscreen, beach gear, many many towels, shampoo, conditionner, bandaids, snorkel gear, great beach chairs, ustensiles, plates. The communications with the host were very easy and he always answered very quickly. He was also very helpful and flexible. I highly recommend this place, it was absolutely PERFECT!

  Comments: My partner and I couldn’t recommend Larrys place enough! An ideal location for two, spacious and clean! We cooked all our meals at the apartment and packed our lunches for the day with containers that were provided by Larry which is thoughtful. Princeville is an amazing suburb and super safe. We enjoyed the pool/spa facilities which is family friendly. Could go on but a 10/10 from us. Larry is responsive and courteous. Mahalo

He was even kind enough to leave us snorkeling and beach equipment. The place itself is immaculate with a huge balcony and a comfortable bed, it's perfect for 2.

  Comments: This is a cute little condo located in Princeville. The decor was cute, the place was clean, and Larry was a good host (clear directions and timely responses). Access to beach chairs, snorkel equipment, and a beach umbrella were welcome extra amenities. Just know that this is quite a small apartment so pack lightly or be prepared to walk around your suitcases. It is very close to the queen’s bath (must see) and there is a shopping complex nearby (driving distance) with a variety of amenities.

  Comments: We truly enjoyed staying at Larry's studio. It's located within a short driving distance from Hanalei Bay and other beautiful northern beaches, Na Pali coast hiking trails and only a stroll away from the Queen's Bath. Princeville shopping center with a supermarket, several restaurants and a coffee shop are also conveniently close. Larry was a great hosts, - he contacted us on several occasions to make sure that we got there fine and have everything we need. The studio is very comfy, beautifully designed and clean with a spacious lanai. We also really appreciated having an access to the beach chairs & sun umbrella, snorkeling gear, access to the community pool and the BBQ area. We highly recommend Larry's place!

  Comments: This place was fantastic! Great for 2 people looking for a nice jump-off spot on the North Shore. It was very clean and had a nice, modern design. The bed was comfy, there's a nice Lanai, and there's even beach/snorkeling gear to use! Larry was super quick to respond to all questions pre check-in and also when we had a minor issue after arrival (we were without hot water for about 30-45 minutes due to a power outage). He also helped us get an early check-in. We would definitely look to stay here again if we return to Kauai in the near future.

  Comments: Laurence's place is exactly what you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay on the North Shore. Like everywhere on the island, you need a car as the flat is situated in residential area, very short drive to Hanalei and only a few minutes from food shops. The flat was super clean and offers everything you need including simple kitchen and terrace that we enjoyed after coming back from whole day trips. It is little noisy, but that's nothing you can do about it. Laurence is a great host, he responded quickly to all our messages and also invited us to his band concert, it was very nice to meet in person. Thanks Laurence!

  Comments: Laurence’s place is a great location on the North part of the island. Easy to get to several beaches- Moloa’a,Secret Beach, and all the beaches at Hanalei- hikes - Nepali Coast/Kalalau Trail(go early before 8 am to get a good parking spot), shopping, and places to eat. It’s also easy to prepare your own meals as all the basic kitchen equipment is in the condo. Beach chairs, umbrella and scuba equipment also provided. The bed was comfortable. Everything as pictured and described on the Airbnb is accurate.

  Comments: This is such a gem on the North Shore! I had a great stay here and would 100% recommend it to any travelers. The space is so well thought out and has everything you need - kitchen supplies, snorkel stuff, beach gear, towels (both for beach and for after hikes!!), shampoo/conditioner, etc. The bed is really comfy, the lanai is great, and everything is thought about for your comfort and convenience. I came as a solo traveler but think this space would easily accommodate two - while it is smaller, it has a ton of storage and is really nice to hang out in - you don’t feel cramped. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the beautiful North Shore. You can walk into Princeville, drive to Hanalei, explore Ke’e, as well as easily go further south to Kapa’a. This is such a special place to visit and staying at Larry’s place made it even better! Check in was easy even though I was delayed and Larry was so responsive and helpful. All in all, one of the best experiences I could have asked for!

  Comments: We were lucky to have found Laurence's studio in Princeville. The unit is located in a well maintained condo development at Princeville close to The Westin, St. Regis and adjacent Golf Courses. The unit looked newly decorated, clean and we'll stocked with towels, soaps and and all amenities including beach and snorkel gear. We took advantage of the nearby community pool, BBQ area and hot tub which were better maintened then the hot tub at the nearby Westin. Laurence was a great host and we highly recommend this unit and will return in the future.

  Comments: We stayed 4 days at the Princeville studio. It was perfect for visiting the north of the island. The studio is small but there is a big porch were we take all our breakfasts. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything. At our arrival we found the shelf of the kitchen and the fan a little greasy but the rest of the studio was perfectly clean. There is a lot of towels and all the stuff for the beach. the exit of the dryer of the neighbor arrive on the middle of the lanai. On laundry days, it could be really bothering.

Perfect cozy space for two, filled with thoughtful amenities such as snorkeling gear, beach towels and chairs, and even aloe for our sunburns! There is a beautiful deck great for morning coffee or an afternoon read. It is a bit far from the activities we wanted to do in the eastern and southern parts of Kauai, but we would definitely stay here again.

  Comments: The pictures and description were accurate. We enjoyed the additional space while we had our coffee and meals out in the lanai. I also liked the fact the unit is on the second floor. The place was clean and at first it was a little bit awkward doing dishes in the bathroom sink but the sink is big and deep and really we didn't use too many dishes. We made a Costco run before arriving but there is a Foodland market and restaurants about a mile away. Because of the major flooding in April we weren't able to explore the coastline after Hanalei which was one of the main reasons for staying on the North Shore. In hindsight and on our next visit to Kauai we would probably stay somewhere more centrally located as we really loved Waimea Canyon (two hours away from Princeville) or maybe split up our accommodations. Larry responded in a timely manner and we would stay at any of his places again. Kauai is a beautiful place and we did a lot in our one week trip, i.e. Hiking at Waimea Canyon, Sleeping Giant, Queen's bath, kayaking on the Wileau river and snorkeling at St Regis beach.

One day we had trouble with something and not even a minute after contacting him his girlfriend was over to help us out. His place was bright, cozy, charming and very clean. He provided everything from all the right toiletries to flippers and snorkelling masks. Laurence made our stay incredibly comfortable. I’d definitely recommend staying at Laurence’s place when visiting Kauai.

The apartment is located in a really nice neighborhood and there are great beaches, foodtrucks and restaurants nearby (you can reach those by car within 5 min). We enjoyed staying there very much and would always come back!

  Comments: Laurence's place had lots of things to appreciate: 1. affordable. 2. close-ish proximity to Queen's Bath (20 minute walk) so that we never worried about a parking spot 3. the pool-we went in one night when it was raining 4. extras like beach towels, snorkel gear and beach chairs. The fact that the sink is next to the bathroom took a little getting used to, but the bed was comfortable and the place clean and well-stocked. Heads up that there's no laundromat in Princeville, so if you need to wash clothes you may want to make a day trip to Kapa'a. Laurence was very communicative and checked in via text. He gave a great recommendation for a surfboard rental shop in Hanalei.

The space is a lot bigger than it looks in pictures which was a great surprise. And Larry was super quick to respond and gave us some tips on where to go and what to do when we got heavy rain. All the tips were helpful. We would stay here again. Not having AC was something we had to get used to but it honestly got super cool at night and we weren’t there so much during the day anyways. All in all it was a great stay and the apartment had everything we needed and more! Thanks Larry!

  Comments: Despite being mid-October, the apartment was often unbearably hot (at least 10F hotter than the temperature outside). The ceiling fan and portable fan did little to help. Other than that, enjoyed the apartment and all the extras in it (such as beach items, etc.). Princeville is a quiet area, and perfect if you're going to do a lot of golfing or hiking. The host was great. The outdoor covered porch was perfect, and we spent quite a bit of time out there to escape the heat inside the apartment. We slept on top of all the covers most nights. Wouldn't book this location again due to that reason alone, unfortunately.

  Comments: Ask questions of your host pre-booking; will I have a designated parking spot? What is the general population on the grounds, i.e. children, families. What if any are the cooking facilities? Are there separate sinks in kitchen & bath? The unit is priced reasonably low for the nature/style of living space, and grounds, pool and hot tube are nice. People seem to follow quiet-times rules, but can be noisy in early morning hours. These are tight units, with shared walls and floors, small living/lounge areas. Larry is trying his best, so definitely communicate with him before you book.

But please know that the kitchen isn't a full kitchen - it doesn't have a stove or a sink, and the fridge is loud and directly across from the bed with no partition in between. Larry, the manager, was great and got back to us with info very soon!

  Comments: Laurence’s condo is in a great spot on the north end of Kauai, we had a lot of fun exploring Princeville and the surrounding areas. The condo is small but clean and had everything we needed for the 2 of us to enjoy a nice vacation on the island. The bed’s mattress is very soft and lumpy and the pillows are pretty flat. If you have back or neck issues then you probably shouldn’t stay here. Also note that this is a condo and the walls are very thin, so we could hear our neighbors’ conversations and doors slamming at all hours very clearly. These two issues made it harder for us to sleep, but may not be a problem for others.
