Summary: My apartment is located in the very center of the city (Born district) at 10-15 mins by foot to Gothic quarter, Ramblas, Cathedral, Picasso museum and the beach. The room faces the street and has a small balcony. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO LIGHT SLEEPERS, STREETS IN BORN DISTRICT ARE VERY LOUD!!! I provide earplugs though. Room is equipped with a fan (warm season) and central heating (winter). WIFI, towels, soap, shampoo, hairdryer are included. Small ensuite bathroom (shower, sink and toilette).

Space: Settled in an XIXth century building, my apartment has high ceilings, french windows in the rooms and restored chandeliers. The room I offer faces the street, has a small balcony and a small ensuite bathroom (shower, sink and toilette). I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO LIGHT SLEEPERS, STREETS IN BORN DISTRICT ARE VERY LOUD!!! The Born district is full of restaurants, bars and very popular to go out, it is not a quiet area!!! I do provide earplugs though. WIFI, towels, soap, shampoo, hairdryer are included. You also might want to be aware that I can't share the use of my living room since I am using it as my working space.

Neighborhood Overview: The Born district is part of the historical center of Barcelona and a pedestrian neighborhood. Full of small restaurants, museums, little cafés, terraces, bars and boutiques, it is a great area to just walk around, wander through the tiny little streets and go by foot to most of the many things there are to see in the city.

Notes: 2 metro stations at 5 mins by foot: "Barceloneta" and "Jaume I". 1 train station at 5 blocks, "Estació de França" that connects with the airport and other train stations.

Transit: The entire neighborhood is pedestrian and at 10 to 15 mins walking distance to the Gothic quarter, Ramblas, Cathedral, Picasso museum and the beach! 2 metro stations at 5 mins by foot: "Barceloneta" and "Jaume I". 1 train station at 5 blocks, "Estació de França" that connects with the airport and other train stations.

Access: SAFETY RULES: For safety reasons, the use of the stove, the washing machine and the dryer machine are not allowed . KEYS: A 20€ key deposit will be required for the set of keys (building, apartment and room), refundable when keys returned. ABOUT THE KITCHEN, PLEASE NOTICE: I don't have a coffee machine, (only a water boiler). I don't have a micro wave and my place is not really fit to cook or to have proper meals. Indeed, there is no table in the kitchen and I don't have a dining room. You can store anything you need in the fridge. LIVING ROOM: I can't offer the use of that space since I am using it as my working space. PLEASE NOTICE: the room is for 2 people only, no extra guests are allowed. I rent 2 other rooms in my apartment.

Interaction: I work a lot and don't have much time to interact. Peaceful and respectful people are very much appreciated.

House Rules: MEETING POINT AT ARRIVAL: Train station ESTACIÓ DE FRANÇA (2 mins walking distance from the house). Once there, please call me and I will come pick you up. PLEASE NOTICE: the room is for 2 people only, no extra guests are allowed.
