And thank you so much for letting us stay longer than the checkout time because our flight only departed in the evening. We would stay here again and recommend this place to everyone. Very close to the subway, to Prospect Park and some nice food.

  Comments: An excellent host and an excellent house. Sarah was extremely helpful with her suggestions and her communication, and she was really accommodating with our erratic schedule and odd arrival and departure. It was blessedly easy to get from Sarah's place to the rest of the city. Her pets were really, friendly, too. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Sarah again on a future trip to the city.

  Comments: I had a great time in NYC. The accommodation is as described. It is really close to the subway station, so I could get anywhere really quickly. Sarah and Jack were really helpful and their dog and cats were very friendly. I arrived in NY quite late, but that was not a problem for them.

It's not a regular IKEA place, on the contrary many items are set to have something particular reminding of the good old days. The neighborhood was safe and the location is easy to reach with a subway or on buses. Highly recommending for the great value to anyone looking for a trip to NYC.

  Comments: Sarah and Jack are awesome hosts. Their apartment is gorgeous and close to the subway which made it easy for us to get back after long days out in the city. The apartment is in a quieter neighborhood which we appreciated as it offered us a break from the bustling nature of New York City. The room is super comfortable and spacious, and the price is unbeatable for what you get. We didn't get the chance to interact much with our hosts as we were out and about but they were really friendly, as well as their pets. I definitely recommend Sarah's place!

  Comments: Staying at Sarah's place was perfect for our trip to NYC, the apartment has a great atmosphere and vibe. It's located a stone throw to the subway with connections to Manhattan and further into Brooklyn. The subway took around 20-25 mins into Manhattan which was great. Sarah and Jack are super nice friendly people who made us feel very welcome. They also provided us with lots of great tips for things to do, see and visit! We loved their pets, they were super cute and friendly with great characters, they provided us with so many laughs and smiles during our stay. I would totally recommend staying at Sarah's, we are looking forward to when we can make a return trip!

  Comments: Very close to the F train, which is one of the main lines running into Manhattan. Jack and Sarah are super nice, and they're very knowledgeable about the area. Lots of nice little extras, like an available umbrella if it rains, Netflix on the TV in the room, etc.

  Comments: We had a great experience here - Sarah and Jack were super accommodating and flexible. We had a late bus ride out of NYC and they let us leave our bags there past check-out time so we wouldn't have to carry them around all day. Also a great place if you're an animal person because their cats and dog are very friendly. The nearness of the subway station was also convenient; the ride into the city takes a little while, but it's definitely worth it if you're not in a big rush. I really recommend staying here!

  Comments: I highly recommend staying at Sarah’s. She was absolutely fantastic. (And I’m sure her husband is too! But we were only at the apartment to sleep, so we didn’t see him very much) Sarah was so quick to respond to questions when we were trying to figure out the subway system. Thoughtful little touches. Very comfy bed. And the pets were adorable. The train right by the apartment is so safe and a straight shot into the city. The neighborhood was very safe as well. We rode the subway late and got home late and never once did we feel uncomfortable walking from the station to the apartment.

Appreciate Sarah and her husband help me to get uber last minutes from her place to airport(New York Uber don't accept cash payment). I have great time with them and their dog and cats.

  Comments: Ik boekte deze B&B toen Sarah & Jack nog op hun vorige adres woonde. Achteraf ben ik blij dat ik “mee gegaan” ben naar hun nieuwe adres. Prettige ruime kamer in een prettige, veelal door Puertoricanen bewoonde buurt. Prettige communicatie met mijn hosts. Ze hebben een lieve rustige hond en 2 katten, van wie er 1 erg gehecht lijkt te zijn aan jouw kamer. Als je daar geen prijs op stelt, zijn je hosts je daarbij graag van hulp. Prima B&B!

  Comments: Comunicazione veloce con Sarah e Jack, quando c’è stato qualche piccolo malinteso abbiamo subito risolto. I loro animali domestici sono adorabili (ma chiudete la porta se non volete averli in camera, il primo giorno soprattutto tendono ad essere entusiasti di conoscervi e potrebbero invadere un po’ gli spazi). La casa è carina, l’unico difetto è il bagno un po’ piccolo ma è funzionale, la posizione è buona ma non ottima se si deve andare a Manhattan tutti i giorni in quanto è un po’ distante, ma tutto sommato ce la siamo cavata con i mezzi pubblici. L’aspetto positivo è che abbiamo avuto un assaggio della vera NY e di Brooklyn, non quella sempre patinata di Manhattan, ed è stato interessante.

  Comments: You won't find a better place to stay in Brooklyn. The room was very comfortable and clean with clear instructions for check-in and your stay. Jack was full of insightful tips about the neighbourhood, such as things to do and places to eat/check out. It is conveniently located for the subway system and is around really great bars and restaurants. Also, the dog and cats just add to the already great experience!

  Comments: The house is located very central in Bushwick Brooklyn and that’s a great place to stay! Young, vibrant, living... Sarah is a lovely friendly host. The house is small but clean and has everything you need. ( good pub and pizza around the corner, good bed, clean shower ). Be carefull: this is not Manhattan, but hey... Brooklyn is fine!

  Comments: Sarah and Jake are great hosts! They gave me many advices and made me feel like home. The flat is nice and well equipped, with a small cute terrace where having breakfast. Everything was perfectly clean. The location is convenient too, just 10 min walking distance from the closest subway station to Manhattan and in a very interesting and lively district which has been a great surprise for me! And don't forget the 2 lovely cats and the sweet dog that will welcome you every time you come back home! But don't worry, they are very quiet and respectful! I highly recommend Sarah and Jake's place!

  Comments: First time in New York for myself and a friend, we were honestly a little apprehensive to stay in Brooklyn because we didn’t know the area much but Sarah’s place was super cute we couldn’t pass it up. Our plane got delayed about an hour so we got to the apartment later than expected. Sarah and her husband Jack were super nice and accommodating! Gave us awesome tips and the few times we were able to talk to them they were always friendly and ready to eat about our NYC adventures! Also she has the most amazing pets Ruby, Lola and Zeplin! Definitely a recommended stay, definitely will book again :)

  Comments: This is one of the best finds on Airbnb. It’s amazing value for money, as it’s just such a nice room and apartment in a very cool area. Sarah has made a guide for food, drinks and things to do in the area and New York more broadly, which is amazing. We tried several of the places on their list and they were very good. The pets are very cute and well-behaved. Overall, it was just very easy to be a tourist when you stay in Sarah and Jack’s apartment and I would highly recommend it.

Como mencioné, el cuarto es enorme y tienes todas lo necesario. El apartamento a 30 minutos de Manhattan pero muy cerca del metro que te lleva a todos lados, te da la oportunidad de realmente vivir la vida como todo un neoyorquino. Regreso sin problemas!

  Comments: Sarah is lovely, even with my mom not speaking very good english, they managed to have conversations, she is very understanding and understandable ! Her pets are very nice and friendly, and her dog is amazingly well educated, never barks, wont jump on you. the place it self is nice and clean, room very stylish. however, it is an appartment, meaning theres people under AND above, which makes the place really noisy. the walls are also quite thin so we can easily hear what's going on around. it also is about 40minutes away from Manhattan, which in our opinion was a bit too far.. also, make sure you can contact them at all times, because due to a 2hours delay at the airport, we almost had to find another place to sleep at (her husband was kind enough to stay up till 1am though)

  Comments: Me and my girlfriend had a couple very nice days there. The apartment has a very good location! By walking less minutes you can get to subway stations and to some super cool supermarkets and food bazars. The pets they have are so cute and curious. That's why we enjoyed our stay there. Sarah and Jack are so friendly, and we had a good communication with them. It's typical for New Yorker apartments that they have trouble with cockroaches, so we saw some there too. But Jack and Sarah immediately did the best they could to deal with this problem and to get rid of the very little number of cockroaches we saw there. That was very helpful. We would definitely recommend this apartment to any one! And we hope to be there some day again (not just because we miss the pets :) ) And if you want to eat one of the best pizzas of your life - please taste the delicious pizza from "Tony's" nearby the apartment.
