I contacted Rosie at 8 p.m. and at 10 p.m. I was already in cosy, very clean, warm room and bed. Rosie is outstandingly friendly, helpful and lovely. And offered her help far beyond the description on airbnb. All information given on airbnb are absolutely true.   Comments: Nice little studio that is perfect for one person, especially for a vacationer that is out exploring during the day and simply needs a comfortable quiet place to crash. The studio was outfitted with just about everything you would need and the hosts are tremendously friendly so if you need something else they are there to help. It can be very warm in the area without AC, but the studio is well shaded and is fine while using a fan for sleeping. It had a refrigerator, big toaster oven, microwave, nice shower, big TV w/ direct TV, plenty of storage space via large closet. Very good value.

  Comments: Meine Freundin und ich haben dort übernachtet bevor wir aus Kona weitergeflogen sind. Die nächste Bushaltestelle und der Flughafen sind 3 km weit weg. Insofern ist ein Auto oder Taxi für An- und Abreise notwendig. Das Zimmer war tadellos und der Selbst-Checkin problemlos. Wir hatten auf Grund des kurzen Aufenthalts keinen Kontakt zu Sean & Rosie.

We had everything we needed and extra little items were there in case we forgot something like shampoo, coffee, etc. Very thoughtful of the owners and much appreciated!   Comments: I booked less than a week before my arrival to the island and ended up not staying at the apartment at all. They have a very strict cancellation policy (7 days), which is fine. I politely asked to be refunded for the $30.00 cleaning fee, but was denied. They said the room had to be dusted and have the smell refreshed prior to next arrival that was coming in. So I paid for 3 nights and a $30.00 cleaning fee for a place I never set foot in. It does look like a nice place to stay though, thus why I did not give them poor ratings.

  Comments: What a charming location in a very quiet neighborhood. We found it to be the perfect respite in our travels back and forth from Hilo to Kona. Everything was clean and nicely appointed. The extras were so appreciated; microwave, refer, coffee pot with coffee and filters provided. Bed and pillows were so comfortable and cozy. Beautiful shower and cute little dog, Maile.   Comments: They weren't very helping to get my money back I called them not even two minutes after I booked the room. I made a mistake. I do not have enough money to spend on places I didn't even stay at. The taxi would if cost me 80 there and 80 back plus 112$ for the room in all American money

  Comments: Location is wonderfully close to the airport and all things Kona, north and south, easily accessible beaches and places to explore. Very close to Costco and Walmart for supplies. Separate entry with keycode access was nice. Laundry was right there and available included in rental which was awesome. Just enough space for 2 people with private bathroom with stand-up shower. Loved access to wifi as well. Met both host and hostess who were very friendly and offered good tips for the island. Highly recommend!

  Comments: Sean and Rosie's place is just a short drive from Kona Int'l Airport which is very handy when you land late in the evening. My wife and I stayed 3 nights. The room was very clean and the queen size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size complete with shampoo, conditioner etc. The microwave, coffee maker, fridge etc. made light meal prep very easy. An extra bonus was being able to use the washer and dryer which are just steps away from the suites private entrance. Rosie made us feel very welcome and was ready to answer all our questions.

  Comments: Sean and Rosie were so welcoming and hospitable! Even before arriving, Rosie was readily available to answer any questions we had and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. The studio had all the amenities, from kitchen supplies (including fridge, microwave, and toaster oven), to air conditioning, to all the bathroom supplies you could probably think of. They had a book full of information about the island and a list of beaches, restaurants, hikes, etc. to visit on the island. Very friendly, inviting us to a get together they were having with friends or offering honey from her family’s local beekeeping business. 10/10 would recommend and would stay with them again if I ever have the opportunity to return! Thank you for everything!

  Comments: The toilet stopped working in the middle of the night and the host wanted us to pay for it even though we didn't do anything special. Very rude. The house is very hot and no AC during the day. They urge us to leave 10 minutes after checkout. Will not come back.

  Comments: I was there for only one night, but the place provided everything I needed for my short stay. It was nice having a private bathroom and the mini fridge to keep my water cold. Even with both fans on, it was still pretty hot in there, which might have become an issue if I had stayed longer. Being so close to the airport meant I didn't have to wake up too early, which was perfect.

We had tv with satellite channels, fan, coffee, refrigerator, toaster, basically everything you need for your stay. Great location and nice and safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

  Comments: Nice place, 5min drive to the airport. Clean and pretty like the pictures. We experienced that they tried to charge us for a tax not mentioned in the ad. We booked this place in May and they sent us a message a couple of months before the trip; quite tricky to say no, is it? At the end, once in their apartment we decided to say no to pay extra as it wasn't mentioned when we booked the room. They agreed so we had no further issues. Funny facts: - They are quite cost-conscious so you will have to open the toilet key so the flush works. - You can use their washing machine but with your own washing soap&softener (reflexion: as a 1/2/3 night host, would you buy a bottle of soap?) - Hot water is available but had no clue how to turn it on. - They make you park in the gravel. Thing that is fine as soon as you don't break your leg as they won't be responsible for any damage to you or your car. Mahalo guys for host us! We had a great time.

The room is simple with the private bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and have two cute dogs. In the room, there are some local guides and their recommendations that will help you find things to do in town.   Comments: We were pleased with our accommodations. We had our own entrance with a private bathroom to ourselves. The price was great and Rosie was particularly helpful. We came in late in the dark and were having trouble reading the street signs. We called Rosie and she got in her car and met us on the street and we followed her to her home. We would definitely stay here again should we come to this area in the future.
