Comments: Apparently right now Laura is between houses so she does not live in the town house that is completely rented out to guests. This is a bit of a drawback for gentrification issues in the neighborhood and in general because if problems arise with other guests there is nobody there to directly solve them. That said, the contact (messaging) with Laura was very fast and uncomplicated both before and during my stay, so although we met only once (and only briefly) in person, I consider Laura as a very reliable and accommodating host. The room I was given was very small, but clean and with a good mattress. I was very happy with my choice. The common rooms – kitchen, bathrooms and living room – are cleaned daily. Wifi access is only in kitchen and living room, not in the upstairs rooms. The neighborhood is stunning and the house is at short walking distance to different subways. I'd be happy to stay again at Laura's place.

Comments: Proprietario cortese e disponibile, l'appartamento è centrale a Brooklyn e servizio bene dalla metro per arrivare a Manhattan, inoltre nelle vicinanze ci sono molti negozi di ogni tipo..

Comments: The accommodation is very simple but covers your basic needs. Communication with lay was great! Specific and very fast. In the house you'll live with other travelers and the cleanliness of the shared rooms mostly relies on everyone cleaning up after himself. Which unfortunately not everyone does. Our bathroom during the stay was covered with long hair and someone didn't know how to use a toilet properly. The kitchen though was always clean. The room itself was little but quite ok. The floors needed some vacuuming and although the bed smelled fresh, we found multiple hairs, that didn't belong to us. All by myself I couldn't have looked the room door, because it was not hanging straight. My boyfriend had to lift it, so the lock would snap. Underneath the doors is a hand wide gap to the floor. Didn't give us a feel of privacy and you have to expect to hear your fellow floor mates' conversations or Netflix shows.

Comments: My girlfriend and I stayed at this place for 8 nights and we would definitely recommend it. The room is quite small, but when visiting NYC you won't spend much time in your room, anyways. Compared to other New York apartments this one is modern and quite spacious, cause you have full access to a living room and the kitchen. A big plus for me was the fact that this apartment has got 4 bathrooms, so at least one was always available. Besides you always get to know other people, because all of the rooms (I guess it was 8 or 9 in total) are rented out. If you want a nice little room for a good value, book this one!

Comments: Room was clean and bathroom was tidy. Didn't take advantage of other rooms, doors squeak bad so I felt terrible opening and closing late or early as it was loud and may have bothered other guests but it was pleasant over all

Comments: The communication was perfect and the neighborhood is very quiet! The kitchen is nice too! The bedroom is very very small, and we were there during the winter storm, so it was very cold inside... But for the price and location it's worth it!

Comments: Great stay and great communication! The room was a little small for our liking but everything else was convenient and reflected the price. Trash was taken out daily and the bathroom as well as common areas were cleaned too. There were a number of travelers coming in and out but we never really cross paths. Overall I’d definitely stay here again.

Comments: Great location, close to many a Deli. Walking distance to two subway stops and bus stops with frequent service. Host was very nice and made us feel welcome. Would recommend for visitors!

Comments: This place is very budget, so be forewarned. Location is not great, 10 minute walk from closest subway station. Some oddities: only two power outlets in the room, no trash can in the room. Very cheap though, so this is what you get.

Comments: Beautiful townhome is neutral colors I loved. Everything was clean and simplistic. Other travelers stayed in the other numbered rooms and shared kitchen, bathrooms, living area. It reminded me of a boarding house set up in that sense, which is a nice way to meet people. Plenty of space and several nice sized bathrooms so sharing was never a problem. I would caution that the water gets extremely hot really fast, so be careful not to burn yourself! I didn’t interact with Lay much, but when we did see her she was friendly and helpful. Great value for the price. The subway was only a short walk away so we were able to get to manhattan and elsewhere very easily and quickly. There were also several nice restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as a healthy grocery corner store that was convenient and cute. Eugene and Company was a restaurant we really enjoyed. Overall, very satisfactory experience and would definitely stay there again.

Comments: For $35/night, this room works well. It feels like you are staying in a private room in a hostel because all of the other rooms in the building are also rented out, and you share bathrooms/the kitchen and living room, but I didn't have any problems with that (it's just good to know ahead of time--glad I brought flip flops for indoors). The room is quite small but I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the street was at night and never felt unsafe in the area (as a young woman alone). The walk to the subway is easy and there are a lot of cute cafes nearby. When I said I was having trouble closing the window in the room, someone came to help me within an hour (which was impressive, in my opinion). Overall, it met my expectations — not fancy by any means, but a solid place to stay!

Comments: A good bedroom in a town home, near to cheap eateries, shops and the subway station. Lay was very perceptive and always wanting to make our stay a good one. We could have early check in, something we appreciate a lot. The bedroom pictures in Airbnb were accurate and the description was also. We will return again

Comments: The host is nice and reply very fast. However, we saw a rat in our room and found it ate our snacks... And our body wash, shampoo, face cleaner etc. were all threw away by the cleaning lady accidentally. Thanks the host dealing with problems immediately or it would be a terrible experience of Airbnb.

Comments: We really enjoyed the space, and the bed was actually a bit bigger than we expected. Lay communicated quickly and we loved that we could just check in ourselves. If you have mobility issues, just be aware that the subway is a 12 minute walk, which isn't really bad otherwise. Overall, highly recommended and we'll stay again!

Comments: I loved encountering and meeting the different kinds of people who walked through or stayed for a while! Everyone tended to be friendly or to themselves, and it made my NY experience much more interesting! the room space is small and cozy and the kitchen is easy to use and amazing. I loved being able to sit at a dining table some nights and just read/ hangout! the AC did wonders on our first few days, and everything tended to work itself out! If there were any issues Lay was easy to reach, but I never had any! thank you so much for the stay and the amazing experience!

Comments: Good value place for the cheap pricing. Location is a fairly short walk to nearest subway but not a very safe place to walk around later at night. Very small bedroom-had to scoot the bed over to one side so we could lay our suitcases down without blocking the doorway. Bedroom door is very loud to open and close. Bed was pretty stiff, pillows were flat, and blanket was thin and small. Not to mention the bed bug bites I woke up to each morning. Thought it was just acne at first but I kept discovering more and they were extreme itchy, covering me head to toe. Bathroom was pretty nice, though you do have to share with 3 other bedrooms on your floor. Kitchen on the first floor is extremely modern and nice.
