Neighborhood Overview: This is a residential neighborhood mostly consisting of two-six family dwellings. People who live here are of all ages, with a predominantly french population, but also with English and some Italian. The apartment is two streets away from a major avenue (rue Jean Talon) where a number of stores, pharmacies, cafe's, etc. can be found. A 10min walk away is Jean-Talon farmers market, the biggest one in Montreal with many stalls and shops.

Notes:

Transit: The apartment is within a 4 min walk of the metro (subway) system. There is also a bus line that runs two streets away, and a bixi station (bicycle rental) a street away.

Interaction: ---- Normally I (or my son) will meet you at the apartment to give you the keys and answer questions. As we work during the day, the arrival time will have to be coordinated in advance.
