  Comments: Hi, Miguel is perfect host. He waited for us at the apartment, with fridge stuffed with all the basic things we might need from day one. Apartment has all you might need during the stay: equipped kitchen, bathroom, Internet, elevator in the builidng. Also, hi printed out few maps of local shops and restaurants, for us to enjoy the neighborhood. Place was clean and as shown in pictures. Location is excellent: not in the crowded and noisy Rambla, but in a walking distance of it. There are 2 metro lines near by, as well as some other public transport options. If you like walking, you can reach all major tourist attraction on foot. Five stars for Miguel.

  Comments: I choose Airbnb apartments over hotels when I travel because when I visit a city, I want to feel like I live there: shop at the local supermarket, ride the metro, stay in a mostly-local area, greet your 'neighbours' in the hallway in broken, awkward Spanish. I also want to have my own kitchen to cook breakfast, a washing machine to do laundry (especially if you travel light - I don't!). Miguel's apartment met these expectations perfectly. It was comfortable (the bed especially), clean and looks like it does in the photos. The free Wifi was excellent and fast (and very useful). Its location is close enough to Barcelona city centre (La Rambla, Plaça de Catalunya) and being on Metro Line 1, you're no more than 4-5 stops away from any major sight, including the beach; and actually it's within walking distance of the Sagrada Familia, Torre Agbor and Glories shopping centre. What sealed it for me was the personal welcome gift from Miguel: some authentic Spanish chorizo (delicious), a couple of cold beers (again, very useful) and a bottle of Spanish bubbly. It's these personal touches that make staying in a place like Miguel's worth it. Highly recommended. Thanks Miguel (and to your sister)!

  Comments: Nice comfortable house, in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. 15 mins walking distance to port olimpic, 15 minutes walk to plaza catalunya and very close to metro, tram and bus stops. Miguel is a very friendly guy, he prepared our stay with clean towels, had a laptop for us and even beers, and a bottle of wine! Great place!

  Comments: Great place with a fantastic location away from the busy tourist areas. Walking never took us more then 25 mins to reach the important attractions.   Comments: Miguel's hospitality cannot be overestimated. He gave us all necessary information about local transportation, nearby shops, pharmacies, etc. All facilities in the apartment were shown and explained. Moreover, he left us with six-pack of local beer in the fridge! Description of the apartment is very accurate, with no tricks or marketing lies. It looks exactly as on website pictures. In my opinion price/quality relationship is excellent.

  Comments: This is our first bnb apartment and Miguel has definitely set a high standard for us. He was very friendly, professional and made us feel welcome. The apartment is clean, compact, fully functional and conveniently located. Miguel has kindly provided all the essentials such as coffee, milk, sugar, cooking oil, toiletries etc. The aparment is close to cafes, bars, mini markets and a metro station (monumental). Only 10 - 15 min walk to sagrada familia. The shower cubicle is smaller than normal - larger people might find it a challenge to get in. But we understand that small shower cubicles is normal for central city apartments in europe. Oh, and Miguel also provides a laptop and the wifi is amazing. Overall we had a great stay at Miguel's apartment and we couldnt ask for more.

  Comments: Our stay at Miguel’s apartment was very pleasent and he is an exceptionally accommodating and easy-going host. Prior to my arrival I emailed him so many times because of booking hassle, then flight delay etc, but he always got back to my emails immediately and is very helpful, stocked the fridge with juice, milk and beer, and welcomed me with some Spanish treats. We stayed at the apartment with two people at first, one in the two bedrooms each, but even with someone sleeping in the living room it is easy to do. The apartment and rooms are small, but have everything you need, clean and quiet (and thus great to sleep in). There is air-condition which I at first thought we wouldn’t need, but without it it got really warm and humid during the rests of the Barcelonean summer, so I was happy we had it. All in all I can only recommend staying at Miguel’s apartment. It is easy to reach by public transport, and we had a great week in Barcelona!

  Comments: Miguel made us feel extremely welcome. He had a plate of delicious chorizo for us on arrival, and the fridge was stocked with water, milk, juice, soft drink and beer. Miguel is also very well prepared for visitors with a file folder containing useful information and maps, as well as providing a laptop for our use. The apartment is exactly as described and as the photos show. It is quite spacious with more than enough room for two people. The shower stall is smaller than we're used to in Australia and larger people may have trouble getting in and out. The location is quite good being within 5 minutes walk to a metro station, about 15 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia and about 20 minutes walk to the beach. There is a supermarket on the same street and numerous restaurants and cafés nearby. We would definitely recommend Miguel's apartment.

  Comments: Miguel ist ein sehr symphatischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist zwar keine Luxusunterkunft, bietet aber alles, was 2-4 Gäste benötigen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage der Wohnung in einem ruhigen, aber verkehrsgünstigen Viertel. Metro, Tram und Bus sind 5 Minuten entfernt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in 15-30 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vor dem Haus befindet sich auch eine Fahrradverleih-Station. Für Gäste, deren Flüge in Gerona landen und starten, ist es ein großer Vorteil, dass der Busbahnhof Nord nur 5-8 Minuten entfernt ist, sodass kein Taxitransport erforderlich ist. Supermärkte und preisgünstige Restaurants befinden sich nahebei. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

  Comments: The apartment was really nice and clean and is exactly like shown in the photos. The apartment is also good for older people (I was here with my mom), because there is an elevator in the building. Miguel was a perfect host, he provided us with everything we needed and even got us a map as well as some milk, beer, coffee and water. There are two subway stations near the apartment and both are only a few minutes away and Sacrada Familia is located in walking distance.   Comments: We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in Miguel’s Sagrada Familia Auditori apartment in Barcelona– our first experience with AirBnB and a great introduction to the system. Miguel is an excellent host, our pre-arrival communications were efficient and prompt. He also gave us lots of info and maps to plan our stay.The apartment is comfortable and exactly as described. We just found the shower a little narrow to get into, it would definitely be a challenge if you were not slim! There was orange juice, milk and cold beers in the fridge, plus all basic provisions such as tea, coffee, condiments, oil etc. WiFi was fast and reliable and TV and sound system worked well. The location is fantastic, a lovely quiet neighbourhood and close to metro, many small cafes, supermarkets and shops nearby. We felt like locals, not tourists when we participated in the Palm Sunday celebrations at a lovely Parish church around the corner. We highly recommend this apartment and its genial host Miguel.

  Comments: Miguel was a good host. He was unable to receive us personally, but let us know ahead of time his sister Carolina would be waiting for us instead. Carolina was very welcoming. The apartment was clean and well-taken care of, as pictured. The location was great, central, near tourist locations, and in a safe neighborhood. The apartment is in a really nice location and Miguel gave us some helpful hints about the surrounding area. It is walking distance to some attractions and easy access to public transport.   Comments: Мигель очень отзывчивый арендодатель. Он всегда на связи и готов помочь не только в вопросах квартиры, но и рассказать о городе и достопримечательностях, помочь в других вопросах. Очень удобно, как будто приехал к родственникам, даже не ожидали. А какой нас ждал прием - его сестра приготовила нам сюрприз в холодильнике и так радушно нас встретила, все показала и объяснила. Квартира отличная! Расположена очень удачно, почти в центре города, 20 минут пешком до пляжа, все достопримечательности близко, ветка метро L1 тоже очень удобна. Несколько комнат, балкон, вся необходимая техника, в том числе стиральная машина, что очень важно когда едешь на пляж (мне не хватало посудомойки, но это не страшно, мы просто лентяи, привыкшие к ней). На полках было много информации о Барселоне и достопримечательностях, подробная карта города и др. Также в квартире мы нашли справочник со всей необходимой информацией о квартире, технике в ней (включая инструкции), паролем от wi-fi и др. Видно, что хозяин заботится о гостях, что очень приятно. У нас остались только положительные впечатления, рекомендуем!

  Comments: Appart très sympa et propre dans un quartier plutôt calme mais bien situé (la Sagrada Familia est à 10-15min à pied, le vieux centre et la plage sont faciles d'accès). Miguel nous a vraiment très bien accueillies (spécialité locale à l'arrivée, quelques courses pour commencer le séjour, accès à un ordinateur...) et s'est mis en quatre pour nous en nous donnant plein de conseils et en restant disponible pour toutes nos questions. Il nous a même aidées à garer notre voiture ! :) Nous avons passé un super séjour à Barcelone et n'hésiterons pas à recommander cet appartement. Muchas gracias Miguel !!

  Comments: I had a nice short stay at Miguel's place. Miguel is a great host and provides good information. The area is pretty quiet, wifi was reliable, the hot water was out the first day then fixed that same day when I contacted Miguel. Nice for a short stay, but there are more lively neighborhoods to stay in in Barcelona. Not bad if you don't mind walking 10-30min to get to places. Definite caution as The shower is quite small if you are a bigger person. And lastly, the bed in the main bedroom was not comfortable. Overall I would recommend for a short stay, or overnight or just a waiting pad until you move to your next stay.

  Comments: Miguel was a lovely host. The apartment is great. It had everything you need. Miguel met us early, and we really didn't realize how early 9am on a Saturday is in Barcelona. The sun was just up and nothing was open. His directions to the apartment from the airport were detailed and helpful. The apartment is literally across the street from the national theatre and is a nice walk from the Sagrada Familia and from downtown. The bed is very comfortable. We'd stay again for sure.

  Comments: Miguels apartment was in a great location, walkable distance to every main area including clubs (we were 2 Aussie tourists so that was a big plus - walks no longer then 30 mins). An even bigger plus was Miguel himself, very nice guy, left food and beers for us to start, waited outside for us in the cold between 7.30-8.30pm because of our flight which goes over and beyond what you'd expect. Apartment was very clean as well. That being said however, we wouldn't stay here again - only because the beds weren't comfortable and the Internet (for us anyway) was unreliable and we didn't have any other way of contacting the outside world without wifi. If these problems were fixed, the apartment would have been perfect. Side note: walls are pretty thin, you can hear everything in the apartment and everything outside. Wasn't too much of a bother, but just FYI

  Comments: We had a very nice experience staying at Miguel's place. Though Miguel wasn't able to welcome us personally his sister Carolina was very kind offering us with juice, beer and croissants. We had really good communication before and during our stay in Barcelona. He was very helpful sending us all the directions and responding to our questions. The apartment is nice and well equipped. The district is quiet, you can easy access the most important places in the city and it is well-connected with the center.

  Comments: Miguel is a very gracious host. At first we could not figure out what button to press when entering the apartment but luckily a very kind young lady helped us to get in and find it. Miguel's sister was there cleaning the apartment and we had to come back 30min later. Turns out that the apartment had been double booked by two people of the same name and we were not expected until the following day. We were able to stay one night and the apartment is great very spacious and clean with everything you need to cook and do your laundry. We were supposed to stay a second night but as the apartment had been double booked Miguel got us a room at the hotel next door which was very nice. So things did not go as planned but we were very happy with the apartment and Miguel overall was very apologetic and helpful.

L'appartement est conforme à la description, propre, au calme, et très bien situé dans Barcelone : près de 3 stations de métro ( la plus près est Glories ), tram et bus. Idéal pour les marcheurs car le centre (el Born , la Ribera et el Barri Gotic) n'est pas très loin tout comme la Sadraga Familia et le quartier de l'Eixample. J'y retournerai c'est sûr !

  Comments: I spent 4 days in Barcellona and I stayed 3 nights in Miguel apartment with my spouse and our 4 years old child. When We arrived at 12.30 we met Carolina (Miguel’s sister) who showed us the apartment and was so nice to explain us everything about the house and the neighbourhood. The apartment was exactly as described and perfectly equipped with everything (fresh and perfumed sheets and towels, all cleaning supplies, shampoo and shower cream, basic food necessities as oil and salt.... they even left for us milk, orange juice and croissants!!!). In the house you can find also tourist guides, maps and everything you might need to visit Barcellona, you can set the temperature you want with the climate control, beds are comfortable . The apartment is far from the confusion of town centre but is really near 3 metro station (Monumental L2 and Glories and Marina L1), moreover there’s a wonderful tram line that in few minutes goes directly to villa olimpica (on the see) At last, when we had to leave yesterday, Miguel wrote me not to worry about the cleaning .. so we could enjoyed a little bit more this wonderful city. I's surely sugget to everyone visiting barcellona to rent this apartment.

All of the most popular forms of transport - metro, tram and bus is located close to the apartment and they can quickly go on foot. Did not know that so close to the bus stop, from which you can get to the beach with a V21 bus. It is found only in the last few days and a pity that did not know at the beginning, to be bathed in the sea every day. Recommendation - the description of the apartment to include this statement. Miguel was waiting for us late in the evening, due to our late flight and explained everything we needed to know about the flat and kindly left us some things for breakfast in the morning!   Comments: Small but quaint apartment in a quiet, residential area. Easy to find (and next to a hotel in case you need to ride a taxi, just say the hotel name). Clean and comfortable. Miguel is a wonderful host. He has a guide book on the coffee table and is easy to communicate with. He also left a tray full of Spanish bread for us and water which was really thoughtful. If ever, the shower was a bit small, which was no problem for me as I'm a small, Asian girl but some others might find it a bit cramped. All in all, would recommend to friends.

For our surprise the place was really nice, with 2 private rooms and a living room. Carolina, Miguel’s sister waited for us for the checkin, she was very nice as our flight was delayed and we arrived around midnight to the place. We had a slight hiccup upon check-in as the previous guests checked out late and the room was not quite ready at 2pm - however, this was well worth knowing that we had a clean and tidy room for our stay. As a whole the apartment was a perfect cozy fit for a 4 night stay: we enjoyed watching the Copa del Rey on the TV in the living room, the bathroom had a nice shower that had hot water that lasted for at least two consecutive people, and the kitchen seemed like it would hold up if we had decided to cook in. The building itself had a small amount of noise from neighbors but quited down by the time we were preparing for bed. I would recommend this apartment to friends planning to travel to Barcelona.

The apt building has an elevator so if your feet are killing you and your luggage is heavy have no fear. She also left us breakfast items which was really helpful for the rushed morning to sightsee. We had no problems with Miguel's place given metro and bus stops were within 5 minutes of walk. However, if you want to stay within tourist hub (Barri Gotic area), then you may find this place a little further than expected. We didn't have issues with it because public transit was very readily available. Thanks Miguel and Carolina! :)

  Comments: Miguel and Carolina truly went above and beyond as Airbnb hosts. When we arrived at 2pm on the day of check-in, the previous guests had checked out late so poor Carolina did not have enough time to clean. She let us into the apartment and explained that, but let us know we were welcome to stay and nap as planned. She also took the time to get out a map to show us where we were and explained the commute to Sagrada Familia. She then quietly finished up cleaning over the next 30 mins and left. The apartment was conveniently located, very clean and had an extra pull out bed! The shower is very small but other than that, it was a true pleasure staying here. Our hosts even left us juice and croissants as an extra convenience. Thank you Miguel and Carolina for a fabulous stay in beautiful Barcelona!

  Comments: The apartment is in a good location, but it was not so clean and has an old aspect. PROS: - Location is very good. - Internet connection was very good. - Reception included beers, breads, milk, juice and a bottle of water. CONS: - Cleaning (a lot of items were not properly cleaned, including kitchen utensils and bed sheets (for sure it was used). I talked to the host about the cleaning problems and the answer was "sorry for that". When I arrived in Barcelona I came from another Airbnb, which was extremely clean, so it was shocking for me to see the cleanliness of the apartment. - Apartment with an old aspect. - Shower space is tiny. Depending how tall you are, it might be impossible to take a shower. To sum up, the cost-benefit relation was not good for me. I would not come back.

  Comments: The apartment is extremely clean and bigger than the photos suggest. It is a 5 minute walk to the metro and walking distance to Sagrada Família. There is a Condis grocery store right around the corner that you can buy anything you would need during your stay. The area is also safe and quiet at night. Carolina was lovely and Miguel reached out to us to make sure we were okay. If I ever have the opportunity to visit Barcelona again, I will stay at this Airbnb again.

Estuvimos cómodos en el departamento , bien ubicado en una linda zona y con una línea del metro cerca que nos facilitó el llegar a los lugares por conocer.

  Comments: Al inicio, tuvimos complicaciones porque nos retrasamos con nuestro vuelo para llegar a Barcelona. Carolina, quien es host con Miguel, no podía esperarnos para entregarnos la llave a la hora que nosotros llegaríamos. Sin embargo al final, ella resolvió y no tuvimos más inconvenientes. El apartamento está bien ubicado, cerca de La Sagrada Familia, es acogedor y muy cómodo. Tiene televisión por cable y lavadora. Carolina incluso nos había dejado un detalle para desayunar, un lindo gesto! Lo recomendamos!

  Comments: La casa di Miguel è in una posizione eccezionale per conoscere Barcellona, vicina a diverse fermate metro e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla Sagrada Familia. L'appartamento è comodo e confortevole, c'è tutto quello di cui si può aver bisogno per qualche giorno di vacanza. Miguel e la sua famiglia sono stati gentili e disponibili.

  Comments: If you stay here you can expect a peaceful local environment. We were welcomed by Miguel’s sister with whom we could send (Hidden by Airbnb) messages if we needed help during our stay. There were lots of thoughtful touches in the facilities provided. Be aware noise travels between flats at times you can hear chairs scraping etc.
