Space: Welcome to the Cedar House! This Chalet was built in 2006. With some Pinus pinea Trees on the property, the views from the house are magical. If you’re up for it, sunrise on the front porch is incredible. This house is very close to small Miramar town famous for the "Capela Senhora da Pedra", a 17th century strikingly situated on a rocky, wave-beaten headland jutting out from the beach and many restaurants and coffees about 2 minutes walk from the house. If you’re looking for the sound of the sea waves and silent experience, we would recommend our property. From 9 kilometres Vila Nova de Gaia takes you back to the 17th century begginings of port-wine production, when British merchants transformed wine into the post-dinner tipple of choice by adding a dash of brandy. Neighborhood Overview: The Cedar House its located in Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto, Portugal. Miramar is a seaside town made up of Sportsmen, artists and explorers. In the town you will find locally owned and run restaurants, gardens, supermarkets, coffees and shops. There are many wonderful places to visit during your stay at the house including the “Capela Senhora da Pedra”, a 17th century strikingly situated on a rocky, wave-beaten headland jutting out from the beach., a famous 9-hole golf course at Miramar Golf Club, surf at “Praia do Atlântico”.

Notes: This house has old plumbing and has a septic system. PLEASE do not flush anything other than toilet paper.

Transit: The seaside town Miramar is walking distance from the house (about 3 minutes walk). Driving around the town is incredibly easy as well. We’re about a 10 minutes drive to wine cellars of Douro river and about 15 minutes drive to the centre of Porto. By Train, it’s possible to catch train in Campanhã station, “Aveiro” line direct to “Francelos” station (about 20 minutes trip) from “Francelos” station it’s more 15 minutes walk until arrived. Airports: You need to rent a car. Oporto, PT (OPO) - 18 minutes Lisbon, PT (LIS) – 2 hours 45 minutes Faro, PT (FAO) – 4 hours 52 minutes

Access: While you're staying here, the house will be your private oasis. If you want play tennis its simple bring your Rackets and play with your family or friends.
