  Comments: Great location, great host everything was very easy. The room has its own quite balcony with a great view and sunshine all afternoon, the appartements os very very clean and there is a huge rooftop too with hamac, sun and barbecue! The host is very sweet and makes everything very easy and the bed is very confortable. About the neighborhood it's the best neighborhood of New York : more quiet than Manhattan, but one stop from Manhattan, less than 5 and 10minutes by walking from J,M, Z train or L train. Plus many things are happening in the neighborhood for locals or for some tourists too. You have a great park to go for running or just for having fun and you can go see the river by 5 minutes walking. It was an amazing stay, thank you!

  Comments: Cozy flat in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.... good for a short stay in NYC. The flat is close to subway lines that make it easy to join midtown Manhattan in 10/15 minutes. Derek is quite busy but always available for suggestions and help. Appreciated.

  Comments: The place is very good. The bedroom and the apartment are very comfortable and clean. Williamsburg is a very nice area with a lot of restaurants and bars close to the apartment. Probably the best area of Brooklyn. And 30 minutes from Manhattan. Derek was great host. He's a cool guy, as well as his roommate Harris. Even thought I didn't share too much with them because they and I worked most of the time, the few times I got to spent with them they were nice, great to talk to and always keen to help and make you feel comfortable in their home. I would go again to their place if I need to stay in Brooklyn in a future occasion.

  Comments: Derek's place is located in the Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which is a very special art area and it has lots of good restaurants and coffee shops. You also can access the subway station very easily. Derek is a very nice person, he extended my stay for free when my flight has been changed. If I visit New York again, I will definitely choose his place again!

  Comments: Derek's place is lovely, it was like being a short-term flatmate during my stay there. The housemates were really welcoming and helpful. The location is great for those who want to spend a lot of time in Brooklyn and it's not too far from the bridge if you'd like to pop over to Manhattan. Highly recommend this as a place to stay in the city and would definitely come back.

  Comments: Had the most amazing time in this ai (Website hidden by Airbnb) location is ideal and close to everything in Williamsburg and not far from LES at all! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special and comfortable! Rooftop was amazing - saw the best sunsets here!! Would definitely come back the next time I’m in Brooklyn!

  Comments: Dereks place was GREAT. I loved all about it: Location (nice restaurants and shops nearby), my room (with private balkony), the whole apartment (huge, with roof top terrasse) and the accessbility to the subway (5 min walk). Everything was exactly like it is presented online. The communication was excellent. Derek answered RIGHT AWAY, ALWAYS! Both hosts were very welcoming, asking if help is needed. I enjoyed chatting with the hosts. Everything was uncomplicated and realiable. I highly recommend it and would enjoy coming back sometime again! Thanks a lot!

  Comments: This was my first Airbnb experience and it definitely set high expectations for stays to come. I loved how personable Francesca was and enjoyed the hospitality and personality of both her and Derek. Only one thing was out of place, but otherwise the private patio, bed, and overall space were fantastic. Hope to book again in the future if ever in need.

  Comments: My favorite place I’ve stayed in all of New York! Derek’s place is in a stellar location, with anything you can think of within walking distance. Also the subway rides from both J and L tracks will take you pretty much anywhere you need to go. They keep the apartment super clean. Both Derek and Harris were awesome people, both offered awesome suggestions for restaurants, sight seeing, and night life. When I make another trip to NYC, I know where I’m staying for sure.

  Comments: Great location, nice and safe neighborhood, the apartment is close to the train so it is really easy and quick to go to Manhattan. The room is confortable, the bed is so good and in general the apartment is cozy. Derek and Francesca are so friendly and cool, they always answered all my questions and even they invited me to join their thanksgiving dinner with their friends :) If I’ll return to NYC in the future, I’ll stay in Derek’s place for sure.

  Comments: Derek and Francesca are attentive, helpful and laid back hosts who let you get one with your stay with ease. On checking out I was able to leave my bag until the evening as well. Francesca was very quick to respond to any questions and the room is a perfect size for long or short stays, with a balcony and nice view. Area is great with bodegas, thrift stores and restaurants really close by. It’s a perfect distance from manhattan and coming back to a quieter area is a relief after the rush of times square. Will definitely be coming back.
