  Comments: We had a great stay at Linsay's Sunset Stowaway in Napili. And the name says it all, we saw an amazing sunset just outside our door our first night there. It was nice to have the beach chairs/umbrella/towels available to use. We went snorkeling at Honolua Bay - maybe a 10 minute drive away - and it was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked, nice to cook our dinner rather then eating out all the time. It was easy to find, the location of the unit was very convenient to the parking spot. Thanks for hosting us.

  Comments: We had a wonderful time at Linsay's place. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Comfy king size bed with plenty of linens and pillows. The place is as described. At the time of our booking, we were able to use the beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and cooler. All were in great condition and added to our stay. Plenty of room in the kitchen and bathroom as well. The location is great because it is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and give or take a few minutes to walk to restaurants. Also easy driving distances to all the west Maui highlights. The pool and grill are steps away and seemed nice, but we did not use either one. Linsay is great to work with. She was always polite, courteous and super fast with her communication. Would recommend and stay here again!

The apartment is very close to Kapalua beach, one of if not the most stunning beaches on Maui for snorkelling. The apartment was recently renovated and has everything you could possibly need. We didn't come to Maui for a beach experience, but the beach was a five-minute walk from the apartment and I guess it's pretty important for some of the visitors. The communication was great, Linsay even texted me on the day of the check-in letting us know that the apartment was ready a bit earlier which was great since we arrived early in a morning.

  Comments: Great place, especially for the value. The place is clean and has everything a couple would need during a stay in Maui. It is just short of a mile walk to Kapalua Beach which has some nice water for snorkeling. It is about a 15 minute drive to downtown to shop,eat and drink.

  Comments: Our recent 6 night stay at Linsay's condo, Sunset Stowaway, was nothing less than perfect! The unit itself was beautifully decorated in modern, yet warm, decor with excellent bed linens and ample beach and bathroom towels. The home and amenities are exactly as described in the listing. We stayed at another airbnb while on the island and let's just say Sunset Stowaway was a far better choice. Lindsay went above and beyond in comparison to what the other host/unit provided. By that I mean the unit had it all and the photos really don't do it justice. A huge king bed with a GREAT mattress, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of dishes, stone countertops, comfortable beach chairs, umbrellas, a GOOD hard sided cooler, plenty of hangars, toiletries, books, comfortable patio chairs, ceiling fan, and two floor fans for keeping the unit cool, the list goes on and on. It really was like a true home away from home in regard to the style of homes we prefer to book at- Clean, fresh, bright, modern etc. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but liked that it was always very quiet there and looked very clean also. The unit was only a small flight of stairs away from the designated parking stall which was also a plus when we had groceries to bring in. Thanks again for hosting us!

  Comments: Miss this place already! If you're looking for somewhere comfortable, clean, and has everything you need for a great break this is it. Linsay has thought of everything, beach chairs, cooler, all kitchen utensils, plenty of towels, etc, and when we asked if there was an iron, she popped one into us within the day. The place is also walking distance to the best beaches and restaurants. Napili bay and kapalua bay are ridiculously gorgeous, and Merrimans for sunset and dinner are an amazing treat. We will be back!

  Comments: This rental isn't for everyone. If your mental picture of a Hawaiian vacation requires an ocean view balcony, maid service, and onsite restaurant, you are missing the point of rental websites like this. If your vacation involves bringing kids of the "need to run around screaming" variety, look elsewhere-- I don't recall seeing anyone under 25 in this entire real-locals condo complex. If you need loud, you won't find it. The only noise we heard came during the afternoon of Superbowl Sunday, where screams of joy and anguish were sporadically emitted from the screen doors and slatted windows we passed on our walk to the beach. A couple notes about the above: The screen doors are the heavy duty black grid kind, that you leave shut with the main door open. Then you open the door to the lanai (patio), and create a fresh air flow with the fan. This is how you cool down a place without an air conditioner. We were never uncomfortable in the 80s (temperature; not decade). The other thing I wanted to point out is that I said "walk to the beach". It's entirely possible to hit sand in 10 minutes from the door, but you can be more leisurely, enjoy a definitely-not-spiked drink you made using supplies from the nearby grocery store that is pretty expensive until you compare making food at the condo to eating out every meal. And then you remember you're on an island. It's a really quick drive to the public parking, but no guarantee that you'll get a spot. We drove a few times when our feet were super tired from other walking excursions, but there was one time when we had to drive home and walk because there wasn't parking. Of course, when we walked through the lot, there were three spaces. You know how it goes. Staying in this condo and walking to the beach provides the most realistic fantasy of what living on Maui could look like for you and your main squeeze. The place has all the kitchen stuff we needed, a cooler to take to the beach, a Smart TV that we watched YouTube on at night (I actually didn't check if there was cable TV or not) but the Wi-Fi worked well and there was enough room at the kitchen bar to set up my laptop to do some work (which I almost did before saying "F that, I'm on vacation"). The stand up shower had good water pressure and got hot water fast, which is really all I ever want, though it also happens to be one of the more creative remodels I've seen. If you've ever looked at Pinterest for remodel ideas, I don't think you're alone-- this place feels new, very comfortable and full of good vibes. The bed was comfortable. If I had to come up with a downside, it's that at night it could be a little bright from the lights outside the other buildings since we slept...

This is a phenomenal residential condo located within walking distance of some of the best beaches in Maui and away from the busy tourist feel! We enjoyed walking to The Coffee Shop each morning and grabbing an acia bowl from A'a Roots :) Condo description was very accurate and plenty of space for two. We will be back!

  Comments: This place is very clean, well kept, and will make you feel right at home. It is literally a 10 minute walk to the beach and within 15 minute drive to lots of local restaurants. The host provides everything you need to enjoy yourselves at the beach (two beach chairs, plenty of towels, a cooler, and plenty of tote bags). The host also does an amazing job walking you through the entire check in process and provides very prompt responses. Two things I'd like to point out, there is no air conditioning. If you're not used to 70-80 degree humid nights I would be wary of booking. However, there is a very adequate ceiling fan and two oscillating floor fans. Also, during the time of our stay, the screen door was unable to lock so we couldn't sleep with the glass door open for some air. Overall, I would highly recommend simply due to how helpful and cordial the host was. If you can see past the lack of air conditioning, this is the best you'll find for the price in Maui.

Quick 5-10 min walk to Napili Bay Beach (beautiful sunsets) or a bit further to Kapalua Beach (great snorkelling & turtle watching!). It was nice to be a bit tucked away and we enjoyed the quiet on the lanai every evening. The place is stocked with everything you might need - from kitchen basics to a beach umbrella. The decor is beautiful - coastal chic and a home away from home. Everyone in the complex was friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

We stayed there 3 nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. The interior is styled in a way that makes you feel like at home. Quiet location, pool (we didn't use it though), soft bed, very nice styling. The place it is very clean. There is a good and well priced restaurant Kitchen 5315 (without alcohol at the moment) 1000 feet away. Beach is a little bit further but within walking distance. The free parking spot at the place was very convenient. Lindsay was very helpful in both finding the right place to eat and also with the checkout. All in all - we highly recommend this place!

Her place is slightly off the beaten path but very close to a shopping center and awesome beach with the best sunrise and sunset. This place even has A/C which is much needed on the islands. It’s perfect for 1 or 2 people. Everything was spotless and clean. Had a great sleep as well. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

  Comments: Linsay and Ians home is just as described. Its in a great location and has everything you need. I would recommend whether you are looking to stick around the area or driving around. There are a lot of great food shops and tourist spots close by. Be mindful of the parking if you have a large vehicle as the spots are very tight.

  Comments: This place is wonderful! It’s on a quiet neighborhood road, just a few minutes walk from the “beaten path.” This is perfect because you have quick access to the main road for day trips, but it’s far enough away to be a calm, peaceful refuge for quiet time. The house is decorated straight out of an Anthropologie magazine, and is SO adorable. Plus there are a bunch of fun quirks and thoughtful surprises all around the studio. Did I mention one of the walls is just a huge window? Stay here, guys. You will love it. :)
