  Comments: The place is great, very clean and has lots of small extras included like parking which in Oahu is a if deal. The only thing my wife and I did not like was that it was a bit too far from the beach. That was totally our fault as we did not look at the map correctly.

  Comments: We enjoyed this place. It appears to be recently remodeled, and it's light and airy (many windows) spacious, and clean. A breeze from the nearby bay keeps the place cool. There's a large TV in the living room and a smaller one in one of the bedrooms. The bedrooms are a good size and there's plenty of closet space and lots of hangers. We didn't use the washer and dryer, but they are there outside for guests to use. The steamer for taking wrinkles out of clothing came in handy for us and we were happy to see a hair dryer there. There's a complete set of dishes and cooking utensils, and even a first aid kit. Neal has put some thought into making his guests feel welcome, and the little amenities he provided like candy, sun block, and toothpaste were greatly appreciated.

  Comments: We spent two weeks out in Hawai‘i and Neal’s place was perfect. First off the location is away from tourists so that is a huge bonus and what we wanted. There is plenty of room for parking which is a nice benefit too. The place is very clean and relaxing. The washer and dryer was a great to have since we did stay for two weeks. Neal checked in every couple of days to make sure we were doing good. He even went out of his way to gets us fans since we came when there was a heat wave happening. I would recommend this place to anyone and would totally stay with Neal again!

  Comments: There aren't enough great things I could say about our stay here. I'll start with the location. I am from Oahu and did not want to be in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Kaneohe is a great spot for Koolau Mountain views while being within a short driving distance from town and the north shore. The neighborhood is very close to the mall and other shopping/restaurant venues. When you walk out of the duplex, you can see the mountains and water! Neal was great to work with. He was always in touch and even provided a couple updates for things to do (i.e. one day the waves on the north shore were high and he recommended we visit). He went as far as buying a new pack n' play for us when he noticed it wasn't in perfect condition. I really appreciated that. The home is newly renovated and came with many perks I haven't seen in other rentals. The fridge had water and local juice and chocolate covered macadamia nuts were sitting next to the coffee maker. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy our stay. My expectatations were surpassed. Would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay on Oahu.

  Comments: The communication with Neal was amazing. He gave us some traffic tips because president Trump was on Oahu. The accommodation was very clean and the kitchen was fully equiped. I was very happy about the little things wich Neal provided for us (some coffee, snacks, popcorn, small collection of bath stuff, some drinks) :) the neighboorhood was really quiet. I felt very rural there. We had some roosters around the street. You can hear the chickens crowing. Over all ... these accommodation was a nice home for us and I would highly recommand Neal as Host.

  Comments: My friends and I decided to stay at this beautiful home over the thanksgiving weekend to have our own friendsgiving. The place was nicely decorated and very homely. We had a total of eight girls who stayed and we were all able to sleep and move around comfortably. The kitchen had a good supply of dishes and utensils to cook our thanksgiving dinner and we were all grateful to have a kitchen as college students, let alone a cute and well-stocked one. The owner of the home was so generous by providing personal hygiene items in the bathroom like shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and a few other goodies. The location was ideal because it wasn’t very far from a bus stop or the closest beach. The only downside was that it was near a chicken coop which could get loud, but our campus, BYUH, has chickens roaming around all the time so we weren’t too bothered. I accidentally left my laptop at the house before we all checked out and the owner was kind enough to take time out of his day to meet me at a grocery store a couple days later and return it to me with no fee of any sort. This inconvenience for him really showed me how much of a kind and considerate guy he was and I’m so glad that my friends and I got to experience our first thanksgiving away from home in such a nice guy’s house. If you’re considering staying here, I highly recommend it because of how flexible and considerate the owner is in making your stay the best it could possibly be. He even gave my friends and I a student discount because he understood how difficult it can be to save money as a college student. Again, highly recommend!!

  Comments: Kaneohe Haven was a comfortable 2nd floor residence that was conveniently close to shopping and beaches on the windward side of the island of Oahu. It was an easy drive for us to the North Shore for the Surfing/Pipeline events we wanted to see. The owner was very attentive in providing us we special treats and communicated constantly with us. It was an enjoyable trip and we recommend Kaneohe Haven for a family visiting Oahu.

  Comments: This is a nicely renovated place. Plenty of room nice neighbors. Just 1 caution is the roosters. If you are sensitive to sound it might be difficult for you as they crow all thru the night. But it's a cute roomy place. Great host.

  Comments: The house was very clean and more than enough room for all of us for 2 wks. Loved being able to cook and not have to eat out all the time. Stores are within walking distance if you like to walk. Neighbors are very friendly. Felt very safe. Roosters and dogs in the neighborhood but it never bothered us. Loved being able to open the windows and hear the ocean, rain and smell it all. We can't wait to come back!

  Comments: Neal was an accommodating and gracious host. First, he called a few days before our trip to see if there was anything we needed before we got there. When we got to the island we asked him if he had a rice cooker, but he said that he did not. Later he responded that he just bought one and left it on the front door step. My party and I were pleasantly surprised that a host would go out of his way to do that. The day of arrival, entering the Airbnb was easy with the instructions he gave us. The kitchen already had some basic groceries that were ours to use. The place was clean and bright with some toiletries awaiting us. Throughout the trip he would check in and see if we needed anything. I highly recommend this place for those on vacation! You have the comfort of a home environment while on vacation.

  Comments: Let me begin with the fact that our very first Air BnB experience was an absolute nightmare. So our expectations on approaching Neal's place were very very low. All expectations to which we originally thought were going to be horrible wound up being absolutely perfect. The difference between Neal's place and the our 1st experience was literally night and day. The consideration he put into letting us borrow his place was uncanny. I mean not only did he leave drinks in the fridge, little local Hawaiian snacks on the side, a super clean and cozy place, suntan lotion for the Hawaii sun, he also was considerate enough to leave Aloe Vera for the sun burn. (You know your doing Hawaii wrong if you don't get sun burned) Long story short, all we can say is thank you Neal for reinvigorating our faith in Air BnB and thank you for taking such great care of our family on this magnificent trip.

  Comments: This place is AMAZING. As we entered, Neal had complimentary hawaiian juice, hawaiian products and much, much more. The place was very clean. Had ample parking. Being upstairs made it very comfortable with the natural air flowing throughout. The neighborhood was quiet, thru our stay. Neal answered any questions thoroughly and very professional. I would recommend my family friends and relatives to experience the love and aloha of Mr. Neals residence in Kaneohe. The shops and stores were conveniently, down the road.   Comments: It was our first time in Hawaii and Neal’s place was best option for us! He offered us amenities and even beach items for kids. It’s about 20 minutes for Waikiki beach and 1 hour for North Shore beaches by a car. Big mall and supermarkets are close by. A good sized kitchen with all tools you need to cook, so easy to eat at home. One of our favorite was the morning view from a entrance door which you can see beautiful sunrise. We would love to come back in the future!

  Comments: If your anything like me you read the reviews and look for consistency. 5 stars here too. Cleanliness, hospitality, and accuracy of what was expected was top class. Neighborhood was very friendly, they even put the trash out for us when we forgot. Communication was immediate. He definitely deserves his super host award. I have a wife and two kids, we felt safe in the area when we were there and felt safe leaving our things there while we were out and about. I don’t have any negative comments to drop. I would absolutely stay here again.

  Comments: This is a great place if you wish to get away from the hustle and bustle that is Honolulu/Waikiki and the North Shore. This home is located near a bay, so no beaches are walking distance away. However beaches, hiking trails and other activities in nature are only short drives away. There is a local botanical garden, but I suppose the whole island is a botanical wonderland. The home is overlooking the bay and is located in a generally quiet neighborhood (ocassional barking dogs and crowing rosters) . Great for a getaway for friends or families. Neal is a top notch host...always available and gives off that Aloha spirit.

He called & messaged before our arrival to see if we needed anything, as well as checking if everything was alright during the stay. The home was thoughtfully filled with toiletries, snacks, juice, water, beach gear, etc. Sometimes photos can be deceiving, but I promise you, this home is as beautiful as the photos show. Nice, clean, & spacious - we comfortably were able to have 6 people. The neighborhood is quiet & neighbors are friendly, lots of stores & places to eat close by. I would definitely stay here again!

  Comments: Neal’s place was very clean and inviting when I checked in. He has provided almost all amenities you could ask for (especially when you’re heading to the beach) and even provided brochures and snacks upon arrival. It did take a while for me to locate the place as I arrived after dark but shouldn’t be a problem if you arrive in daylight. Only downside was the crowing of the neighbouring roosters in the early hours as I’m a light sleeper. Would be back during my future visit to Oahu!

  Comments: As other posts have mentioned, Neal is a great host. We stayed at his place for 3 weeks and had zero complaints. He checked-in with us regularly to see if we had any issues. He keeps his home clean, and included many small touches (macadamias nuts, hygiene items, extra towels, swimming floaties for the kids, beach mats, etc.).

Shops and restaurants were close by and the location was away from the hustle and bustle which was nice! The only that surprised us was the area the house was in which made us feel a little uneasy but no one bothered us and it was a pretty quiet street.   Comments: Overall, we enjoyed this little space. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. We loved that it was in a very centrally located town. Quick to get to other parts of the island. We also appreciated being in the upper part of the duplex. Once a family with much younger kids came to stay in the lower level the sound definitely travelled a lot. But for a large group traveling together it would be perfect to rent both spaces in this house. Neal was attentive to messages both before our trip and while we were there. We didn’t need to ask for any assistance but I’m confident he would have replied quickly. Neal provides several very nice amenities. A couple of our favorites were the cooler and stand fans. This house is very much in an established neighborhood. The neighborhood wasn’t really our favorite, as we like a bit more space and privacy. As anywhere on the island you’ll hear roosters all night long. The neighbor also has a dog that was kept out all the time. You can see the ocean and mountains, but you are looking over the crowded neighborhood to do so.

  Comments: We had a very good experience here. Being from Texas, we are used to our air conditioning so it was a small surprise when we realized that there wasn't AC in this apartment. We quickly learned that with the ocean breeze we didn't need the AC. There are fans provided in each room and it gets quite comfortable in the evenings. The location was perfect with local activities just a short drive away (hiking, beach). Neal communicated with us every step of the way and was very responsive to our questions. Perfect space for our family of 3.

  Comments: Good communication by our host! Rental was ready for us early and was well suited for children - we used the pack & play for our baby and our toddler loved the bunk bed. Beach towels, beach mat and cooler were provided which were great for our visit to nearby Lanikai. Windows (Hawaiian A/C) and fans kept us cool however note that keeping windows open and the sheer curtains allowed sound of chickens and light in.

  Comments: We traveled from NorCal to Oahu for a 1 week family holiday vacation (4 adults + 1 child - 5 yr old). The beds are very comfortable. It was hard to sleep the first night with no AC + the humidity, but we got used to it and slept great the rest of the trip. My dad loves to cook - the kitchen is small and had some missing items. When we asked Neal for pots/pans w/ lids, he brought over a new set within an hour to 2, so that was really nice! Always quick responses from Neal from booking until the last day. Would not recommend for small children as the floor is not clean and there are stairs, but it's a great value for somewhere to sleep/shower and cook small meals.

  Comments: Just as advertised (and even cuter in person!). Neal provided beach towels (which we stupidly didn't think about), as well as some sunscreen (we added to the pile at the end of our trip to pay it forward). The neighborhood is very cute, and we saw the sunrise a few mornings from a little beach park about 45 seconds away (highly recommend--very serene little area). Will 100% stay here again if we come back to the area. It was in a perfect location to go south to Waikiki for most of our dinner reservations and for various hikes, and then we spend an entire day up in the North Shore area, so it was pretty centrally located to whatever we wanted to do. Also, it was great to have parking and a lockbox (since we had four people and two different cars--we could just keep the key in the lockbox for whoever was getting back to the house at various times). Highly recommend!

  Comments: Staying in Neal's place felt like we were living where locals do, and was a nice base from which to explore more of Oahu. The towels and sunscreen were a nice touch and Neal was responsive with questions and requests. It's not the most well-stocked or cleanest Airbnb we've stayed in and the bunk bed was quite creaky, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.
