  Comments: Perfect place for tourism of NYC or a longer business trip. Apt actually has TWO double beds, so plenty of room. Fantastic bagel shop a block away. Easy walk to midtown sights, Broadway, and to both Grand Central and the East River ferry.

  Comments: I had the pleasure of staying at Eli's airbnb for five days for a conference in New York. Here are my comments below on the apartment and the host. The apartment: The apartment was located at a very convenient location, close to groceries and transit. The first thing I noticed about the apartment was how accurate the pictures were. When booking online airbnbs, there can sometimes be a discrepancy between what is advertised and what apartment you walk into. However, Eli's apartment was absolutely true to the quality of the pictures; simply spacious, clean and beautiful. While I stayed at the apartment for less than a week, the place was also equipped with almost everything I could think of. The apartment had various kitchen utensils, first aid kit, fresh towels, and an iron to iron your clothes. The host: Eli was very attentive and communicative both before and during my stay. He contacted me in advance to confirm when my flight would land. When my flight was delayed, he checked in with me to make sure that I was okay. I felt that he was a caring host, and a well-mannered person in general.

  Comments: While, the location and the place was overall good we did have communication issues. We got there the fist night and we're disappointed to see that the tv was not working. We asked for assistance that fist night as well as the next night and no assistance was given. It did not ruin our trip but it was unfortunate.

  Comments: Eli's place is exactly as it appears in the ad. The location is really great, super close to grand central, pretty quiet for Manhattan, and comfortable. We have used airbnb a lot, and have come to expect things to run smoothly, and they did. Eli was easy to communicate with, she was prompt and always easy to get a hold of when we needed something. She checked in with us half way through just to be sure things were good. And she was willing to fix anything if asked. Airbnb lists the location of the apartment incorrectly, making check in a little confusing, and for some reason I did not get Eli's messages with specific info on how to get in (although I am sure she sent them, my email is sometimes tricky that way). The tv wasn't working, but we never needed or wanted it. Eli offered to have it fixed while we were at the apartment, but we declined. But you might want to check with her ahead of time if tv is important to your stay. The beds were more like doubles than queen sized beds, but the apartment was airy and the bedding was comfortable.

  Comments: Eli's apartment was great for our girls weekend. The location is very convenient, and there was enough space for 5 of us and all of our belongings. Eli is super quick to respond and easy to work with. The beds are DEFINITELY not queen sized. I’m not even sure they’re standard full sized beds. So if you have taller or bigger people looking to share beds, just be aware. But overall a great space for the cost!

  Comments: Eli's space was perfect for our NYC trip! The location is what sold us and it did not disappoint- it was very close to Grand Central Station/major subway lines! It was also within walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Check-in and communication with Eli was a breeze. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to leave our suitcases in the room while it was being cleaned. The cleaning lady was very kind! Unfortunately, the check-out instructions (take out trash, etc.) were not communicated to us until after we had already left for the airport. The space was extremely modern and well decorated. The pictures listed were very accurate. Furniture was not of high quality (didn't bother us). We did have some issues with the curtain rods (not secured so they fell when attempting to open the curtains). The TV did not work but that was expected based on other reviews guests had left. The only major issue we encountered was coming back to the balcony window wide open (which we had not touched). It was having difficulty latching but we eventually got it closed and locked. We did not spend much time in the room, therefore it was perfect for us- It was a great place for the price and we would definitely recommend!

  Comments: In complete love with this place!! Apartment was on the small side but it fit six of us comfortably. Place was nicely furnished and decorated. The balcony area leading to the rooftop was a great addition too. Made me wish I lived here haha If I ever come back to NY I would def book this spot again!!

Le check-in s’est bien déroulé malgré notre heure tardive d’arrivée. L’appartement est idéal pour 4 personnes (dans notre cas 2 adultes et 2 ados).   Comments: Stayed here for a very short Manhattan get away with the kids. Very doable location with grade school aged kids, and ample space for our stay. Got parking at the Quik Park around the corner for cheap online ahead of time, and fell in love with Chelsea Bagel of Tudor City. Super safe area that is close to the sights but quiet and restful. Eli was a great host with lots of communication. Would highly recommend the space and will hopefully be back!

  Comments: This is a fantastic place for the money. In the heart of Manhatten and a short walk to Grand Central so easy to reach other parts of the city. Some reviews saying the TV was broken, worked fine for us but only had it on for 5 mins. Will have to wait a short while for the hot water to get going, but is a good and hot when it does. We stayed as two, but there is loads of space so a great option for a crew of people looking to stay someplace on the cheap, I'd reckon you'd fit 6 comfortably, 8 uncomfortably. Top notch stuff.

The neighborhood was not very far from Times Square and Rockefeller Center, which I loved. The apartment was just as pictured and smelled amazing. Very small, but I believe this is common for New York. Overall, I loved the place and am excited to return soon to NYC.

  Comments: The flat is well located, pretty close from the grand central subway station. It is also pretty calm in a “full air bnb building”. Eli has alway been really reactive on emails. Nevertheless, the flat is pretty small for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The sofa, specifically was really uncomfortable for a 16 years teenager. Please note there is no duvet for the sofa. We had only 4 chairs, not 5 so no way to have breakfast all together. Nevertheless, I would recommend this flat to any family of 4 people!

  Comments: Old building without elevators, but Apts are recently been renovated with very good taste. Spacious enough for my family of 5 and really close to main attractions in NYC. Only problem we had was a fake fire alarm that made us go out at the middle of the (really cold) night through sprinklers rain. Turned out to be frozen pipes that broke, but it was frightening. Eli was great about handling this accident and even refunded us this night, which was a fair detail for the trouble. Totally recommended if you are visiting NYC.

  Comments: We had a great stay! Not only was there very clean and comfortable accommodations but it was also an excellent location! It’s walking distance from the UN, Grand Central Station and Time Square! It wasn’t as big as I initially thought but it slept 5 very comfortably. Eli was very communicative and made the check in process very smooth. He was also very accommodating by arranging for us to stay an extra day on short notice!   Comments: Perfect place to locate yourself for a Bergen visit. My wife and two young children stayed here and found it ideal. Tucked away from the busy tourist marina but easily accessible by public transport. Easy walk down the hill, but will need bus if you have lots of luggage. Would recommend.

  Comments: This is a quaint space that easily slept 5 adults. The building was built in 1910, so with that you have the noises that come with a 100+ year old building. But, the interior is updated modernly and feels clean and stylish. The walk to Times Square is 20-30 minutes, so if you're not used to walking to get places, be prepared. The place is on the 3rd floor and there are no elevators, so if you can't climb stairs, this isn't the place for you. The air conditioner is very loud, so bring ear plugs to sleep with if you don't want to hear the noise, but it's also very cold. There are lots of neat little shops and restaurants in the area, so you will definitely have everything you need within a block or two. Overall, we felt very safe and secure, and despite the longer than expected walk to Times Square, the location was great and we'd stay here again.

We fit 5 adults comfortably. The pull out sofa will NOT fit 2 adults, but it did come with an air mattress for that 6th person if needed. Eli was so quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Overall, I would give it a two thumbs up!!

  Comments: Overall, decent place to sleep. Bright and pretty clean. The towels were old and smelled a little interesting. The couch bed was uncomfortable, so be sure draw straws for who doesn’t get a good night’s rest. The couch bed also had crumbs all over it. The space was a little cramped for 5. Eli was pleasant on arrival, allowed us to check in a bit early. This was very helpful. The following day, however, pleasantries were gone. Eli was grumpy and short in response. She didn’t seem to care about our stay. I don’t need my ass kissed, but general politeness would have been nice. We didn’t die, but I probably wouldn’t recommend.

  Comments: This was my second visit to NYC, and it was better than expected yet again, for my first time staying in Upper Manhattan area. Eli’s place was very accessible, and convenient .. where do I begin! If you’re planning on taking the subway, Grand Central Station is about an 8 minute walk. Although I did not stop by, there is a café right next to the building. A 99 cent pizza shop within a 5 min walk. There are two 24hr shops located right down the street. So many options nearby to choose from, very convenient! Eli’s place was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Although we arrived hours before our check-in, we were accommodated right away. The housekeeping ladies were so helpful and very kind to us, they offered extra bed sheets and bath towels, if needed. I would definitely stay here again.

This location has only one small issue and this is only for mostly older people, This unit is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. You will need to carry all your luggage up the stairs.   Comments: The apartment was awesome!!!! Only things were the curtains kept falling so maybe make the rods stronger and the no elevator thing was a huge bummer especially bc we had heavy luggage. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable, my friends said they woke up super stiff and hurting but the other beds were good! The bathroom was super clean but at check out my friend was using the bathroom, it was around 10:50 and housekeeping was already banging on the door reminding her check out was at 11. She politely said she was just using the bathroom but she said the housekeeper made her feel super rushed. I also pointed out the nails that was coming out of the wall so we were nervous that if we put anything on that particular shelf it was going to come crashing down. But the central air worked AMAZING , it was freezing in the apartment which was good because it was so hot that day. I know this accommodates 6 and we did fit well, however, it would be best for 4 people and maybe a 5th on the air mattress because the sofa bed was soooo uncomfortable. But overall, we loved it !!! So thank you !

  Comments: What you see is what you get. The place totally match what you can see on the announce. Only small bad point would be the noise of the ACs next door that might be too much for some. In our case, it was not, we were so tired that it did not prevent is to sleep.

There are two double beds in the space which are very small to share with another person and the couch is very hard. Would not recommend anyone sleeping on the couch. Also the TV console was practically falling off the wall and was hit or miss if it was even working. I would get that fixed so it’s working properly and not at danger of collapsing.

  Comments: it all depends on the price you get against other options... it is a refurbished hotel suite. area is nearby of many things but nothing really going on near. You have no space to store..... you have views of other ceilings and the general areas smell like cheap detergent. kudos to the Beds and linens as at the end you get a nice sleep. bathroom is on the good side. Eli is really responsive... some drawers could be helpful.

  Comments: Purtroppo la mia esperienza, rispetto a moltre altre, non è stata positiva. Arrivati all'alloggio prenotato (accesso sia allo stabile che all'appartamento con codice) non ci è stato possibile accedere allo stesso in quanto risultava già occupato. Prima che si riuscisse a rintracciare l'host e questa rintracciasse gli occupanti perchè si trasferissero ad altro appartamento è passata più di un'ora e capite bene che, dopo 9 ore di volo, il trasferimento dall'areoporto, il fuso orario, la stanchezza, avremmo preferito evitare anche questa seccatura. Oltretutto abbiamo avuto a disposizione un appartamento che, da occupato, non poteva considerarsi pulito e senza considerare che i precedenti occupanti, persone sulle quali non abbiamo dubbi sulla loro integrità, erano comunque in possesso del codice per entrare in quello che era il nostro appartamento. Ci aspettavamo anche la presenza fisica dell'host che, per correttezza, avrebbe dovuto darci migliori spiegazioni sull'accaduto, scusandosi, cosa che non è avvenuta. L'unico successivo contatto è stato quello di raccomandarci di lasciare l'appartamento per il check-out entro le ore 11 perchè a quell'ora sarebbe arrivato l'addetto delle pulizie; peccato che la stessa precisione non l'abbiamo riscontrata per il check-in. Per quanto riguarda l'appartamento risulta più piccolo rispetto a quanto si intuisca dall'inserzione. I posti letto poi, descritti per 7 persone, sono da leggere come per 4 adulti e tre bambini: passi per i due letti matrimoniali (da una piazza e mezza cadauno), ma il divano letto è più piccolo del letto matuimoniale ed il gonfiabile è.....un gonfiabile. Proprio non ce li vedo due adulti dormire nel divano letto! Il locale poi, come detto, è piccolo e considerato anche le valigie che non hanno spazio per essere ricoverate, ci si ritrova in una situazione davvero angusta. Anche alla luce di questo il prezzo risulta un pò caro. Spero di tornare a New York, sicuramente cercherò un altro alloggio

  Comments: The problem with our stay in this apartment is that the photos of the studio showed a bigger apartment in perspective. Also the beds are not Queen size as told. Is more like an individual size. The elementos of kitchen are pretty basic and you shouldn't trust on them if you want to Cook. It would be quite dificult to stay there for four or more persons. Location is very good.

  Comments: If you are a small family with young kids or a group of friends, looking for a great place to stay while discovering New York City, look no further! We (my wife, our adult son and I) just made the long journey from Australia to stay in NYC for a month and immerse ourselves in all the wonderful things this amazing city has to offer. We arrived at Eli’s place late at night, after 24+ hours on the way and knowing this, Eli had prepared the place so we could just get right in to bed. The place was immaculately clean, coz and warm, not just within the huge studio but also the public areas are always sparkling, smell good and warm. The next day, we were ready to set out and only then realised how perfect the position is. This part of Midtown East has great amenities literally on your doorstep. Great pizza, fresh salad bar, the most delicious bakery (where most days everything’s $2), fresh fruit, veggies and groceries and wonderful espresso coffee literally across the way. Also, a fantastic laundry across the road and my wife loved the hairdresser two short blocks away and the nail bars and beauticians in abundance on Second. Grand Central Station is an easy 10 minute walk away and Broadway, Times Square, the museums, galleries, shops and restaurants a pleasant 20 minute stroll.   Comments: Eli’s place is in the best location and was perfect in every way. The Apt was super clean and a quick walk to grand central station with easy access to everything we wanted to visit. He really was the perfect host and we will definitely return! A+++++

  Comments: Overall we had a great stay at Eli's place. The decor is minimal but clean and stylish and the shower is great. The price is great and I would totally stay here again except the beds were too hard for me to sleep well on. Others might be fine with it, I had to fold the comforter over and sleep on half of it and then it was fine. The location is not that interesting but its central to a lot of other destinations. A very good value overall.

  Comments: Eli was a great host! She answered very quickly and kindly to al of our questions. The apartment was very clean! It fitted perfeclty for us and we were four. And also, the housekeepers were really nice and sweet! It’s close to subway stations and a lot of restaurants! Perfectly located! We definetly recommend this place!
