This is obviously the pay-off for staying in such a central location.

  Comments: Had a wonderful time at Jeremy's house. The kids especially loved the stairs and the loft bedroom. The views from the balconies a must see. Located very close to Sydney cbd. Local buses just a street away, 5 minute dawdle. It is possible to walk into / from the city which we found after the bus left us behind and no taxi would take us because they didn't have a baby seat. We were a family group of 7 so we caught a mini bus from the airport which cost us approx $60. Soo much easier than catching then train and walking with 7 + bags. Would love to stay again.

  Comments: The perfect location. Close to bus and rail stops. Many local resturaunts. Jeremy is very responsive to any issue and responsibly accommodates his guests. He communicates quickly and is any amazing guy. The Gracious Darlinghurst Terrace accommodates up to 8 people comfortably. All bedrooms are upstairs and the City lights view is worth every step. They really loved all the cool decks attached to the bedrooms - the city views are brilliant. Jeremy himself is a very helpful and welcoming host. Everyone reported having slept well and being warm enough. There were extra blankets if we needed. There were towels laid out for all the guests, plenty of room to hang clothes, and 2 showers and toilets.

We walked to the Sydney Cricket Ground for a match, walked to the Botanical Gardens and city center. Great pubs/bars close by as well. Jeremy stopped by first day to drop off a new kettle. Pleasant host! Everything was clean and orderly. Great place to start our visit down under!

  Comments: Beautiful, enormous town house in a perfect location. Within easy walking distance of the train station at Kings Cross, the bars, restaurants and clubs on Oxford Street and even the centre of the city. Stunning views of the city from the balcony outside the uppermost, Swiss-chalet style bedroom. We had four adult males staying in the house and we all had plenty of space. For a group of people, it's also very economical: much cheaper than trying to find a similar hotel suite for the same price. Perfect for a short or extended stay in Sydney, and surprisingly tranquil for such a central location. Small tip: if there are two or more of you, it's just as cheap to get a taxi from the airport than taking the train. Jeremy is also very friendly and helpful.

The living area and bedrooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen was well equiped and two bathrooms serve the four bedrooms well.   Comments: I travelled with 7 companions and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Location trumps everything - especially in a city like Sydney - and this house is perfectly situated and really good value for money. Supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, night life, the CBD, opera house and harbour are only a short walk away. The views from the east facing bedrooms are spectacular, both with good sized private balconies to enjoy. Jeremy is a delightful and responsive host. He was always quick to respond to messages and to answer any questions. I was worried about parking because this house doesn't have a carport or driveway. But Jeremy has an arrangement with a nearby car wash that charges only $20 a day. It was convenient and hassle-free. When comparing other options for a group of 8 or so, this house is excellent value for money. At around $60 a head per night, you won't find anything in Sydney for that price - let alone a gorgeous house like this!

  Comments: Location of this place is really convenient,quiet to relax and only less than 10 minutes of walking to major markets,shopping mall. Lots of cute restaurants,cafes in narrow streets nearby which make strolling very agreeable. Four big bedrooms make life easier for our group of 7. The place is super clean and well stock of kitchen utensils,plates,cutlery,coffee maker. Jeremy emailed us in advance the instruction to get in the place also. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone .

  Comments: The house is well situated in a pleasant suburb taking only about 15-20 minutes to walk into Sydney and is also close to major bus routes for exploring further afield, as well as having shops and restaurants nearby. The house is quite spacious, and equipped with all the necessary appliances, including wifi, to make the stay most enjoyable. If the weather had been better during our holiday then we would have made more use of the balconies that provide impressive views of the city. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived and the entry instructions were quite clear. Jeremy was very accommodating by arranging an early check in and late check out.

We had the 'Big Wet' (non-stop rain for four days in a row!) so unfortunately we could not enjoy the decks and balconies.

  Comments: We really appreciated how well Jeremy communicated with us before/during/after the stay. He is more than willing to help with anything you may need. The property is spacious and offers a washer and dryer which was greatly appreciated. We liked the neighborhood, especially the breakfast/coffee shop on the corner. It's within walking distance to many restaurants. Also, very close to public transit. Only negative, is there is no air-conditioning... so if you visit in summer, it may be an issue for you. However, it's so much cheaper than staying in a hotel!

  Comments: This was our first time using Airbnb and we was so happy with how easy the whole process was. We had an early flight so were kindly allowed early access which was much appreciated. The house was wonderful, very well equipped, clean and spacious with many outdoor sitting areas and a fantastic view of the city from the top deck. We loved the area with lots of cafes and restaurants very close by and Hyde Park only a 10 - 15 min walk away. Would definitely stay here again

The kitchen is well equipped and Jeremy was very accommodating of our requests for a cot and high chair for our daughter. He was also very responsive throughout our stay and responded quickly to our questions. The house is located in a lovely neighbourhood, with many food and entertainment options nearby. Only downside is the upstairs room did get rather hot, but fans are provided. Overall it provided for a clean, comfortable stay.

  Comments: Great location. Only issue we had was due to no air conditioning and no fly-screens there were bugs everywhere as it was hot when we stayed. The downstairs shower is a hassle as water goes all over the bathroom floor after each shower as there is only a shower curtain around it. Other then that the house was clean and in a very nice, quiet neighborhood and Jeremy made organizing the trip and our stay incredibly easy.

Whilst the place is large and in a great location/close proximity to everything you'd need, we did have some severe issues with cleanliness and bugs in the house. We raised this with Jeremy immediately and he took it very seriously, organising for the cleaner to come back first thing the next day which we appreciated. I believe the situation with bugs has now been taken care of. Jeremy also allowed us a late check-out which was greatly appreciated. Overall I could recommend this place for a family to stay as the above-mentioned issues have now been resolved.

Price was very reasonable and it suited our purpose. It was well stocked. Unfortunately the stairs presented problems for some of us who have joint issues.

  Comments: Jeremy was a great host overall. The townhouse was exactly like the photos. Beautiful and clean space in the perfect area. The views from the balconies onto the city skyline were such a nice touch. Like a secret hiding spot! The neighborhood is safe, scenic, and quiet. Once you walk a couple blocks there are a bunch of restaurants, bars, cafes, corner stores, and anything you would need. Great nightlife on Victoria Street! The main issues was some basic TLC. The bath towels need to be replaced. Missing some essentials, such as hand towels in bathrooms and hand soap as well. There were also no screens on windows + the no AC threw us all off. Not sure why there were no screens on the windows, especially since we would need them open to let cooler air in. We were worried about bugs coming in, so made sure all food was kept in the refrigerator. Maybe this is a Sydney thing? One of the couches in the living room definitely needs to be replaced. Besides these doable updates, our stay was perfect. We really enjoyed the space, had fun sitting around the beautiful dining room table eating breakfast that we comfortably made in the very spacious kitchen, and had a nice sleep every night in the bed. The Townhouse is affordable, great location, and comfortable. I hope these updates will be made so future guests can enjoy it even more!

  Comments: Jeremy's place was great. There is plenty of room for guests as the 4 bedrooms can accommodate many. Three different terraces to sit out and enjoy as well as the back yard. The real advantage is how close it is to shops and sights. A short walk to hyde park, oxford street and kings cross. Walk a bit more and you are at the royal botanical gardens and the opera house. Big kitchen and dining table so everyone can sit and eat together. Washrooms were smaller then expected and a few more stairs then we thought but we would highly recommend staying here if you are in Sydney and want to be near the CBD and some of the tourists sights.

The neighborhood is also so charming and underrated - so many excellent cafes and restaurants, and yet still so quiet. You will not find a better Airbnb in Sydney for this value - period. Jeremy was also a delight to facilitate this process - organized, quickly responsive, and willing to go that extra bit to accommodate your needs.   Comments: Great location, nice space for our group of 8. Full kitchen and four bedrooms each with double beds. Note the upstairs bathroom has only louvred doors (not entirely private when there are a load of people in the place) and the downstairs bathroom has the nicer shower, but is located in the utility room next to the washer and dryer. Jeremy was great in responding quickly to some very minor issues such as burned-out light bulbs.

Plenty of room for all 7 of us, without feeling cramped at all... although one of the couches needs updating. Fantastic location- a short, easy stroll into the CBD & Pitt St. Mall. We were surprised just how close we actually were, the maps are deceiving! Fantastic cafes at your doorstep. NB. The house isn’t ideal for people with any mobility issues (the main bathroom isn’t accommodating & the old knees were a bit tired by the end of the weekend!) We stayed in early November, which was ideal. But much further into summer & I would have struggled with the lack of cooling in the house... No air-con = open windows = mosquitoes! But if mosquitoes aren’t an issue for you... go for it!

We had a family member in St Vincent's hospital at very short notice and Jeremy's place is a few minute walk away. Restaurants, shops and the city are so close. First, the house needs a thorough clean and paint: the walls are dirty, the carpets are dirty, the kitchen needs a scrub. There's no air-con, and when the heat reaches 39 degrees as it did when we were there, that was an issue. Yes, we knew that when we made the booking, but at least provide decent fans that don't sound like a jet engine taking off. The downstairs shower leaked every time it was used; the upstairs bathroom was ancient and needs replacing, and the bathroom itself had saloon doors - privacy be damned. The sofas in the lounge need replacing: one was worn, the other like sitting on a rock. The dining table and chairs were passable. The four bedrooms felt grimy; only three had doors, the fourth wide open at the top of a staircase - far from ideal. The towels were threadbare. Plus, with 8 of staying, I would expect at least 8 of everything: cutlery, wine glasses, plates, water glasses, mugs - there were not. We arrived an hour early and the house was still dirty from the previous tennants, with towels on the floor, rubbish in the property. When we came back two hours later, it still wasn't ready. The spare keys were not where they should have been. Jeremy showed up the following day with flowers as an apology and spare keys - but we had no vase to put the flowers in. This house COULD be great - it has the space for 8, two lovely balconies, comfy beds, great location. But it was far from great for us, and I'd say, until it's cleaned and refurbed and some of the money the owner is making is ploughed back into the property, you'd be better off booking elsewhere.

We were within walking distance of all we came to do such as go to the theatre, walk in the Botanical Gardens, eat at good restaurants and for some,to visit the shops.We found it is in a great central location. With 4 bedrooms we all had our own space, 3 with balconies and seperate living zone meant that the 5 of us had our own down time...we could walk to most places that we went to Sydney to experience and it was easy to get in touch with Jeremy who let us leave our bags at the house so we didn't have to carry them around with us on our final morning. Would definitely recommend the house and location if visiting Sydney esp if travelling with 4+adults....

Jeremy was extremely responsive and did what he could to accomodate us dropping bags off early - breezy as checkin process. What we loved about this house was everything. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 which each have their own balcony. The top rooms balcony has views of the city and the sunsets are STUNNING. Great place for evening wines. (It would be great if there were some fairy lights here is a small lantern). The kitchen has everything you could need, so would be very comfortable for families or long stays. The neighbourhood is safe and easy to explore. There are many great cafes within walking distance. Lookout for the Neighbours friendly cat, Fudge. We will stay here again in a heartbeat!

We used 3 of the 4 double rooms and it was handy to have 2 bathrooms. The back courtyard was great for a lazy afternoon relaxing with wine and nibbles. The neighbours cat, Fudge, came to say hello and went for a wander through the house and out the back balcony - he seemed to know exactly where he was going :). It is in a great location for Oxford St which has lots of bars/restaurants/shops and plenty of bus services to the city. There's a wonderful cafe at the end of the block - The Rusty Rabbit. It's in between 2 train stations, it's a bit hilly from Museum tho so best to use Kings Cross (or get the bus) if you have luggage. Jeremy was very responsive to communication and everything was as described. Would definitely stay here again.
