  Comments: We stayed at the Penthouse in the days leading up to the World Cup. It was our first time in Brazil, and we were nervous about finding good housing at a fair price. Franky was fantastic, and the place was great! He kept in good communication with us throughout the process, and the place was as described. Excellent view, fantastic location. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen served our needs - we were not doing any cooking, though we could have if we wanted. The staff in the condo at the front door were very friendly and very helpful. We loved this place, and we will be back! Thank you Franky!!!!

  Comments: Was unable to stay here due to flight delays but my friends loved it. Had nothing but good things to say about it. Frank was super responsive throughout my delays and I definitely appreciated it. Next time I visit hopefully I can actually experience the apt.

  Comments: I had an amazing time in Rio! The people working the front desk at the building were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us with everything from scheduling taxis early in the morning to food recommendations. The penthouse for the most part looked as pictured- some of the furniture was different but it did not take away from the experience. The view from the balcony is unbelievable and is exactly as pictured. The location was good as it was close to everything (bars, supermarkets, restaurants, bus stations, etc...). Overall all, I had a great experience and enjoyed staying at Frank's home.

  Comments: Frank's place was very nice and a very good location. the doormen were all great. the place is in a beautiful part of copacabana beach. great view!!. the only negative was that there is no actual "hot tub", as it does not have a heater. Other than that everything was great!!

  Comments: Perfect location! The doormen were very friendly but none spoke any English or Spanish. Definitely learn some basic Portuguese phrases before staying here. There are grocery stores two blocks down Rua Bolivar away from the beach. Money exchange is also two blocks down Avenida Atlantica.

  Comments: We spent Christmas in the Penthouse at Copacabana Beach. This property is perfectly situated; overlooks the Beach, access to many great restaurants, a block from the supermarket and in a safe area. The view from the Balcony (hot tub) is out of this world - perfect for watching the sunrise, followed by a long walk on the beach.

  Comments: All'arrivo in casa non c'era nessuno ad accoglierci, abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare l'appartamento in quanto nessuno ci aveva detto che dall'ultimo piano raggiungibile con l'ascensore dovevamo ancora salire un piano a piedi. La piscina non era funzionante e non ci è stata riparata per tempo. Le luci in terrazza erano in parte rotte. In bagno le prese della corrente erano rotte. L'impianto audio era inutilizzabile. La cucina era poco attrezzata, non è stato possibile cucinare nulla e siamo dovuti andare tutti i giorni al ristorante.

  Comments: The apartment is very well located in Copacabana on the seafront From the 12th floor, the view is spectacular : from Sugar Loaf to the Fort Copacabana. Its location in the city is perfect for visiting all the interests. The building is a bit old as many in Copabana but is maintained. The apartment has undergone renovations that remain to be completed. The air conditioning works well and the pool is very nice. 2 bathrooms and kitchen have been remodeled. We may regret the absence of a mixer on showers and of a dishwasher. The curtains are not blackout and should be changed. The lighting in the rooms is impractical. Despite a sum of details that should be resolved shortly, it is very nice to stay in the apartment.

  Comments: The penthouse is located in a great spot in front of Copacabana beach with great view from every room. Although if i chose to visit Rio one more time, i would definitely choose Leblon to stay because of the proximity to all nice bars and restaurants. The neighbourhood is safe in general and we encountered no bad surprises! Pros: Frank and his team are really easy to find and very helpful. They provided everything we asked or at least they tried. The doormen are 24/7 and very helpful! Cons: The apartment though had some issues. Firstly the jets don't work properly at the hot tub so its more like a small pool. One of two safes and the microwave were out of order. We had some difficulties to fix the right temperature of the water in the showers as well. When we visited there was noise coming from the renovation of the apartment just underneath ours so we had to wake up at 8 every day except weekends. Overall it was a satisfying experience.

  Comments: Elisa and Frank were easy to get a hold of when our group of six had questions. Pros: Location, location, location! It's awesome and right on the beach with tons of places to eat and drink right around the corner! We were granted an early check-in and a late-check out. The view of the beach is fantastic and the lighting in the apartment is reminiscent of The Max from Saved By the Bell! Elisa, who helps you get the keys and communicates with you when you arrive in Rio, is welcoming and always reachable by (Hidden by Airbnb) . The doorman, Simão, is delightful and super friendly. We miss him already! Cons: This is advertised as a five star penthouse, however, we think it is more of a three star. Our group is all good with a three star, no problems...we have all stayed at a many Motel 6 before and hostels, but the advertising was not quite accurate. The space does not have the same furniture as pictured in the living room. We had previously contacted Frank about the "pool" because we saw prior guests write that it was not working. Frank assured us that it was, however, it did not work. Ivo, a maintenance man, came by twice to help and ultimately, it never worked. We felt bad, as it was not Ivo's fault and he also came by later because the second bathroom did not have hot water. Overall, we had a lovely time exploring Rio and we would have appreciated an honest representation of this space.

  Comments: There was a problem with this place we booked a few days before we arrived, so we were relocated to a different apartment in Rio. The apartment we were relocated to was similar to this one, with a bigger balcony. The downside was that the place we stayed was less modern than this one listed. Also, air conditioning wasn't the greatest in some of the rooms. But it was very spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Location was excellent, right on Posto 5 of Copacabana Beach. Nice place to stay if you are looking for a great view, and wonderful jacuzzi.

  Comments: Overall had not a great experience - arrived to the apartment not being cleaned and unfortunately the people who stayed prior were very disrespected so had to witness an absolutely disgusting site entering the apartment. We appreciated that there was mix up in what time thought would arrive host tried to resolve the issue but re locating us to another apartment however said we could stay at the new apartment the whole time to then tell us a couple days later we had to go back to this original apartment which was frustrating purely because we only had 10 days and wanted it to be a relaxing not unpacking and packing numerous times. Once back in this apartment we had issues with no hot water and no blankets left and all linen feeling quite unclean. The host was easily to contactable however and sent plumber and cleaner to help fix issues. Unfortunately not all were fixed but we decided not to ask for maintenance to come back after third time as felt bad. PROS: The location and views are amazing with everything close by and amazing doorman that despite not being able to speak much English still did their best to be always friendly and felt very safe with them their 24/7. CONS: Not quite quality I expected for being advertised as penthouse with penthouse being quite small, linen felt very well worn, spa difficult to get hot enough to be enjoyable, and not being able to have hot shower most nights. Host was very lovely however and tried to fix all issues that we bought up. Would have been happy if didn't have such high expectations as thought with paying a lot for stay would mean high quality but think more just paying for location.

  Comments: My partner and I decided to extend our stay in Rio and, last minute, booked this apartment. With it being so late, we were slightly nervous about what we were going to get, however, when we arrived we were extremely happy with our choice! The location was impeccable with one of the best views we have seen while being in Brazil, we really didn’t expect it to be so good! The apartment seems to have been refurbished and is extremely clean and well presented. We really would recommend this property to anyone looking for something special at great value for money.

  Comments: My friends and I had a fantastic stay!!! The best thing about this place is the VIEW and LOCATION! Frank was very accommodating and quick to respond, making checking-in smooth and stress free. We spent every night soaking in the jacuzzi. There was no issue with hot water, as I read in previous reviews. Security was awesome! There were 6 of us total, and we all agree that we will definitely return.

  Comments: My two friends and I had a great stay here! The view like everyone else has said is amazing. You can see both ends of Copacabana from the terrace. No issues with hot water...actually the water can get very hot if you are not careful. One of my friends used the hot tub and it was working great. The apartment is walking distance to several grocery stores, restaurants, ATM's, really anything that you may need. The doormen were great to us and very friendly. The apartment is great for groups of six people (three couples) or three individuals. The place is large and has plenty of space to feel comfortable. I recommend this apartment if you are wanting to stay close to Copacabana (Ipanema is not far either).

  Comments: The area the property was in was perfect. We loved the location and the view. We did expect more from the apartment as it was quite expensive for us. The shower heads in the showers are terrible. We had water issues. A pipe broke which we can understand that nobody can predict but then when it has been fixed we still experienced pressure problems. I don't think one is supposed to take cold showers in super luxury apartments. In all the Airbnb apartments I have stayed there is normally a few welcoming coffees and a few small things. Nothing in this expensive luxury apartments. The ceiling fans are noisy so are the two fans in the bathrooms.

  Comments: This penthouse was recommended by a friend and I booked in the last minute. Communication was quick with the manager as well with the check-in person. She already waited in the penthouse which we had previous (Hidden by Airbnb) contact We got a nice welcome. Internet connection, Tv, safe and filling in the warm water into the jacuzzi was well explained. In the living room we have seen that a brand new sofa and table were installed. Cleaning was perfect! The location is more than perfect and the view from the bedrooms and the living room is fantastic! Sitting in the private pool looking over the whole Copacabana beach was a wonderful and unforgetable moment. We definitivily come back to this penthouse soon. Thanks Riosfinest team! Oreste Carpi
