  Comments: Good appartment! It seems ecen bigger than in the photos:) The unic negative part is that you don't have elevator and that there is a little bit of noise (but that's the price if you want to be in downtown). Overall really good place to visit porto, i recommend it

  Comments: Appartement très bien situé, à deux pas de la rivière et donnant accès, à pied, à bons nombres d'endroits intéressants et à visiter. L'appartement est moderne et confortable. Cependant, le fait de donner sur une rue assez animée fait qu'il y a beaucoup de bruit ce qui peut etre dérangeant, et il y fait également assez chaud. Je recommande malgré tout car la localisation est assez exceptionnelle !

  Comments: The apartment couldn't have been in a better location! Steps from the waterfront and surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. It's also larger in person then in the photos, more then enough space for one, would definitely fit 2 very comfortably. The only downside is that the unit is on the 4th floor, so getting luggage up or coming home after a long day of walking the hills of Porto can be a challenge. If you're a light sleeper may want to pack some earplugs. There's no a/c so on warm nights you'll want the windows open, and there is noise from the nightlife in the area, well worth the trade off in my opinion to be close to it all. Also I used their car service to pick me up from the airport. My driver was waiting for me at arrivals with my name on a sign, was super friendly and coordinated my check-in en route to the apartment. highly recommend!

  Comments: The apartment is very nice, modern and clean. There is no wardrobe. It is located in a perfect position. Perfect! But we had many issues with the company which manages the apartment. Every day they sent us the same message containing commercial offers. We asked for two different beds but when we arrived only one was ready and we had to wait two hours to have the sheets for the other bed (because they told us on the phone that they were having dinner...) The apartment is on the 4th floor and we had no help (and no offer for help) in bringing up the luggage. Plus, you have only one pair of keys, but you need them to open the main door on street level, even from inside. Which means you have to make the stairs every time you have to open to someone else and in checking out (since you have to leave the keys inside the apartment) you need to go up and down two times.

  Comments: L'appartement est très bien placé au centre de la zone touristique et à deux pas du Douro. Les images sont fidèles à l'appartement loué. Ce dernier est propre et plutôt confortable. Le parquet et les pierres apparentes apportent un plus. C'est tout de même dommage de ne pas fournir de papier toilette, de savon (au moins pour les mains) et de laisser le bon code pour le wifi. En effet, nous avons du passer plusieurs coups de téléphone pour avoir le bon code. Rien de grave mais c'est dommage car c'est facilement évitable. Comme souvent à Porto ce n'est pas un airbnb classique mais une agence qui loue des logements via la plateforme. Bref on est loin de l'esprit initial mais ça fait l'affaire.

  Comments: Appartement idéalement placé dans le coeur du Porto historique. Certes un peu bruyant le soir, mais c'est le lot des quartiers animés et vivants. L'appartement est propre et correctement équipé, literie un peu vétuste. Mais endroit très agréable avec une vue charmante sur une ruelle pittoresque.

  Comments: Location was incredible. Apt was beautiful. We have a little issues with our key that broke and it took 3 hours for them to get to us but it was a Sunday in Portugal so that can be forgiven! I would recommend this place to all types of travelers!

  Comments: The Porto Concierge is very poorly run and managed. My initial airbnb message outlining arrival details went unanswered for 1 week. We finally coordinated a check-in time of 13:00h but were not met at the apartment by anyone until 1500h. During this 2 hour wait, I sent several messages through airbnb messenger that went unanswered. We found a local gentleman who was able to call the contact phone number for us and only after several failed attempts were we able to reach the company and get someone to let us into the apartment. Upon entering, the apartment was uncleaned (towels, linen, and garbage everywhere from the previous guests). When we expressed our displeasure the woman who let us in smiled and laughed in our faces. We were then asked to leave the apartment for 2 hours so that it could be cleaned. Would not recommend staying in any apartments managed by this company.

  Comments: Le logement est conforme aux photo. Mais sachez qu'il est peu insonorisé (bruit extérieur lié au tunnel à proximité et bruit de voisinages) et qu'il n'est pas adapté à une location en hivers. Par ailleurs, il n'y a pas de produits de base dans la cuisine. En résumé, je ne recommande pas cet appartement pour une visite de porto hivernale.

  Comments: The apartment is very beautiful and the location is perfect. It was clean, exactly as per the photos and Josaine was there on time for the checkin, she gave us tips on what to visit and she was really nice. However, the apartment is very cold, there is a stove but it is obviously not enough to get a comfortable temperature, so I think this is something to improve for a winter stay. Also, there is not hot water enough for two showers on the run, that woudn’t have been a problem if someone had told us in advance. Finally, none of the TVs were working, this was not a problem for us but just wanted to mention it. I think the apartment is ok as long as it is not vert cold in Porto, the location is just perfect, it is nice, big enough for 2 people and the bed is comfy.

  Comments: Overall, nice and clean apartment, we enjoyed our time there and the location is very convenient. However, one drawback is that one heater in the apartment is not enough as it gets cold in the bathroom and other room.

  Comments: Simpel appartement zonder poespas, maar dat is ook niet nodig met zo'n centrale liggen van het appartement besteden we de meeste tijd buiten. Alles op loopafstand van het appartement. Het appartement zelf was netjes schoon. Alleen jammer dat de overbuurvrouw luidruchtig rookt op de hal. De verhuurder reageert snel op berichtjes.

  Comments: Horrible service and house, I don't recommend it at all. Huge delay on the check-in time, leaving us under the rain. The house was not prepared for us, and we had to wait even more after the hostess arrival. Everything in the neighborhood and entrance was dirty, full of cigarettes and water from the rain. The clothes from the poor neighborhood were also hanging in the house. When we got to the place it was unbearably cold (4ºC) and the hostess refused to provide us with a heater. The electricity outlet was coming out, which could even be dangerous. We tried to contact the company, but got no answer from them. Don't book this place if you're looking for a pleasant experience.

  Comments: El apartamento es muy bonito, muy limpio y súper bien situado. Pudimos ir andando a todos lados. PERO, hace MUCHO FRÍO (en abril, así que imaginaos en invierno) y con un radiador no es suficiente. Por otra parte faltaba una pieza en la cafetera por lo que no pudimos usarla. Por último, la vecina de enfrente estaba SIEMPRE sentada en la puerta fumando cuando entrábamos y salíamos (incluso a altas horas de la madrugada), nos sentimos muy observados y controlados.

  Comments: We really enjoyed our stay there. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the river and to the best views of the city. However, the apartment is not meant for people with big suitcases since there is no elevator. You have to climb the 4 floors by yourself. The trash can was not really big enough for our 2 days there. But other than that, recommended! Thanks Josiane for hosting us.

  Comments: The appartement is very nice and luminous like in the pictures but very very noisy !! It was difficult to sleep ! And there is a building in renovation next to the apartment so a lot of noise starting at 7.30am ! The beds are not very confortable. So it’s expensive if you just want a place to sleep.. There was nothing for breakfast, the or coffee, not even for the first day. The location is great, you can do everything by walk.

  Comments: Ho trascorso un week end con due amiche a Porto nella casa di Josiane. Nonostante l'aereo sia arrivato con un'ora di ritardo, l'host si è dimostrato assolutamente disponibile e flessibile con l'orario di check-in. Molto apprezzata la bottiglia di vino lasciata come omaggio all'arrivò. Posizione perfetta, a due passi dalla Ribeira e da tutti i punti di interesse della città. Assolutamente consigliata :)

  Comments: La verdad que el apartamento está genial y son muy atentos. Cuando llegas hay una botella de agua y otra de vino esperándote, además de mapas de la ciudad y de distintas actividades. Además tienen muchos detalles que no son nada habituales y que están genial, por ejemplo, tienen gel en la ducha, servilletas, etc. El apartamento tiene una situación genial, es un poco frío pero con el radiador se está bien.

Je le conseille vivement pour effectué un long week-end sur Porto. Si je devais revenir sur Porto, ça serait sans aucun doute dans ce logement.

  Comments: Josiane was lovely and very accommodating. Place was very comfortable and right in the heart of the action. A little noisy due to the construction and there is no air conditioning so did get a little stuffy at night. Otherwise great and would definitely stay again.

  Comments: I stayed In this Airbnb with 2 friends and we had a very nice stay. Pictures of the location are accurate and it was perfect for 3 people. A few things to note would be that there is no air conditioning and the unit gets quite warm even at the end of September. We opened the windows which would’ve worked fine but there was loud construction nearby which made having the windows open a nuisance. The hot water also lasts very short and the hair dryer needs a “break” after a few minutes of use. The bottle of wine upon arrival is a very nice gesture and the location could not be beat as your minutes away from the river in Ribiera with lots of restaurants and cafes. Everything we wanted to see was walkable from our location.

  Comments: We had stayed with TPC at a different apartment before and had a great experience, so we were looking forward to our stay at Ribeira MD. The apartment was very nicely designed and we loved the bar area. However, the internet connection was a bit weak and unreliable, which is important for us as we work online. We ended up needing the reset the modem multiple times in order for it to work. Additionally, we found some hair on the sheets when we arrived, and our request for new bed sheets went unanswered. Again, the apartment itself is great, the location is truly amazing, the woman who gave us the keys arrived timely and was super great, and we wish our experience wasn't as flawed!

  Comments: We had a nice stay in Porto, but there were a couple issues. The apartment was tidy and as described, and the location was wonderfully located in the Ribeiro neighborhood. The hosts provided lots of suggestions and recommendations, and the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. However, when we got to the apartment, we realized the wifi and TV were not working. We contacted the hosts, and had some back and forths, but in the end nothing was done over the course of the two nights we were there. Not having wifi was a huge inconvenience for us, and it would have been nice if the hosts could have done something to fix the problem.

  Comments: Appartement vraiment idéalement situé, à deux pas du Douro, au cœur de toutes les visites. A quelques minutes du métro, à environ 45 minutes de l'aéroport (mais attention un métro toutes les 30 min ligne E aéroport). L'appartement est situé en zone 4 pour acheter vos tickets de métro au départ de l'aéroport. Quartier calme, appartement dans une ruelle typique. Appartement sans epicerie (sel,poivre,huile.....). De nombreux restos à proximité. Cet appartement est destiné qu'à la location. Accueil fait par une personne de l'agence Porto Concierge. En résumé une bonne adresse pour un couple. Bon séjour.

  Comments: We had a great stay in this apartment. The location is just perfect, it's very central and there are lots of restaurants next door. The apartement was clean and quite. We could enjoyed a bottle of wine offered by the host. If you are staying several nights, like we did, you will have coffee only for the first day though. That could be improved, but we are very satysfied of our stay in this apartment.

  Comments: L’alloggio è un piccolo gioiello. Ubicato in una delle più caratteristiche zone di Porto. L’appartamento è elegante e ben studiato. Dotato di 2 tv e servizio Netflix. Accurati i dettagli. Faticose le 4 rampe senza ascensore, ma un poco di ginnastica dopo le abbuffate dell’ottimo cibo di Porto non fa male. Tornerò sicuramente a Porto e indubbiamente nell’appartamento di Josiane.

  Comments: Emplacement super ! Juste à côté du Rio Douro, pleins de resto, on a tout fait à pied. MAIS il manque le strict minimum, sel poivre huile torchon papier toilette (seulement 1) le chauffage ne marche pas. Et rue bruyante, mouette !!!

  Comments: My wife, myself and a relative had an enjoyable stay at Josiane's place. The apartment is right next to the Douro river and Ponte Luis I bridge, and 15-20 mins walk from major sights. We appreciated the meet-and-greet service as well along with the complimentary bottle of wine, although the person missed informing us about the portable heater in the apartment, and we ended up having a cold first night since we didn't notice the heater (there's only one portable heater in the apartment, no central heating or cooling). Would recommend the apartment as long as the weather is moderate!

  Comments: Even though we did not meet Josiane in person, her place was great! The Porto Concierge hosts did a good job, letting us in the apartment and briefly telling us what's what. The design of the apartment is exactly as in the pictures, it looks beautiful. Everything has been thought of and the location is ideal if you want to explore Porto. Just by walking down the alley you're immediately on the water side with many restaurants with a great view of the water, boats and bridges. By walking up the alley, please mind it is gets a little steep so it's a good workout if you do it a few times a day, you'll cross Sao Bento train station. From there it's only a short walk to the shopping street, plenty of restaurants and many nice sites to see.
