  Comments: The stay in small apartment is awesome. The location is just above all the pubs and bars in Lan Kwai Fong. Whether you choose to do shopping in day and have night activities at night, this place is definitely a great place to stay in Central. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Ryan but his assistant Romelia is very friendly. I really would like to thanked her for picking me up on my first time to HK at the subway. As for room wise, please don't expect it to be big in HK. In HK (Central) this size for 2 asian adults, I would say is fairly reasonable. But the room design wise is compact and I learn quite a few tips from there. I would definitely choose this place again. Thanks Ryan & Romelia

  Comments: Ryan's apartment is in the very heart of Lan Kwai Fong party district and yet despite this, is very quiet. Perfect for anyone with a sore head after partying too hard. Roughly 5 minutes walk to the nearest MTR (Central), Circle K convenience store, Starbucks and a local Hong Kong style restaurant (not to mention the broad spectrum of western style restaurants literally at the door) within a minute from the doorstep, you will have no trouble for your day to day needs. The apartment is a small apartment with plenty of practical space for your belongings, good kitchen facilities, TV, WiFi, Air Con and a great bathroom. Despite its small size it has a high roof line so anyone who is taller than average won't have issues here. Ryan was fantastic to communicate with and I had no issue throughout my stay.   Comments: Handy, surprisingly quiet, compact studio in the heart of Hong Kong. The place is very small, but hey is Central Hong Kong, could not be handier!It looks exactly like the picture. It is about 6 minutes walk from Central station (exit D1 turn right and the right and 1st left and is the 4th street/laneway on your right) and Hong Kong Station (from the airport) is connected via an internal walkway. I was able to check in my luggage at Hong Kong Station in the morning of my departure. so so handy! Don't bother taking a taxi, the train system in Hong Kong works! Everything in the studio works well, great air con, washer and dryer is incredibly helpful, hot water just turning a switch. The bed is on the hard side, I personally prefer a softer bed. wireless Internet can be slow. Ryan is very responsive to any questions and his assistant Romelia very helpful when you get lost, trying to find apartment. The apartment is in this laneway in the middle of 6 bars/restaurants that are incredibly loud. Lots of expats having fun. as soon as the elevator doors close, THERE IS SILENCE. A complete an absolute pleasant surprise! Because the apartment is on the back of the building, the noise is absolute minimal! if you go there you will understand! Lots of people around at night having innocent fun, and is a very safe location. if you party that is you place, if you want a handy place that is also your place. We stayed 8 days and it was a great base.

  Comments: The location was unbeatable for its proximity to the heart of Central--Pedder Street and Queen's Road Central. The lane the building is on is pedestrians only so taxis can't drive up to the building; it's a short walk in from the street, but with two suitcases it wasn't fun in the rain. The apt is small but well laid out. I wish there had been a coffee machine, table to sit at and a hairdryer.

  Comments: The apartment's upkeep is good and well-stocked with toiletries. The living conditions are very pleasant. The location is splendid. If you're up for partying over the weekend, the stretch of bars and clubs is at your doorstep. If you want some peace and quiet, you get a very well-insulated studio which manages to defy any sound from the party district. You get the best of both worlds. In sum, this is a great place.

  Comments: Ryan's apartment is in the right spot if you want to be close to all the night-life and action. That's my style so it was perfect. 5min walk to the MTR. It is quiet in the room despite being directly above bar street. It is a bit small but for a single traveller or couple with a couple of suitcases its perfect. The apartment had all I needed for my 4 day stay and the bed was very comfortable.

The location was convenient enough to get around the city and it's in the middle of a lot of fun bars and late night restaurants. Even with all of that going on on the street, I was surprised to find how quiet it was inside of the apartment.

  Comments: We visited Hong Kong for three days and could not have made a better choice to stay. The location is great. Within three minutes by foot you are at the MTR which makes exploring the city very easy. The neighbourhood is lively, offering a lot of bars and shops in walking distance. The apartment was compact, but had everything we needed and we was very comfy for our short stay. Ryan was extremely helpful in providing information, and his 'caretaker' gave all the advice we needed. I would definitely stay again on my next visit.

  Comments: Good place to live if you don't intend to do anything else but sleep in the suite. But why would you want to sleep in HK anyways? Location is one of the best ever. It is right above Lan Kwai Fong and is filled with good bars and restaurants. Transportation is fast, took us 5 minutes to walk and we were at the Central MTR station. Lots of shopping can be done around the area. You can easily find your favorite luxury brand within a 5-10 minute walk from the area. If you are a coffee drinker you can also easily find your favorite coffee stand 2 minutes away. We also felt quite safe to travel in and around the area at any time of day. To sum it up this location is EXTREMELY convenient. Living there was a different story. The AC was loud, the bed/bedsheets were uncomfortable. The entrance to suite smells like incense and chicken. Extremely small suite if you have never been to HK. When the bars/restaurants open up at night, the "promoters" heckle you non-stop until you get to the entrance of the apartment. Wifi is extremely slow, technically it isn't really wifi, it's mobile internet turned into a wifi hotspot. Quick tips: Try not to check in at night after work hours, it's going to be really hard for your driver to navigate the crowds of people walking the streets and random drunks on the side of the road about to burst out. Do not speak to the "promoters" of the bars and they will eventually recognize you and stop heckling you.

Cozy was ok for us, and it's definitely an OK space for 1 person. The neighborhood is awesome with so much to do right off of Lan Kwai Fong, pretty quiet at night given the proximity.

  Comments: the location is awesome and very convenient! the studio is ideal for a lone traveler like me in terms of size and basic amenities, room is clean and neat. Ryan was very kind to allow me to check in early morning! :) feels rather safe when walking back late alone, room is quiet even though the area downstairs is busting with activities. there are good food choices, and even better shopping options within walking distance... MTR is also a short walk away for connecting to other places.. brilliant choice of accommodation especially if you enjoy the night life at Lan Kwai Fong!

  Comments: The location of the apartment was great, it was close to the MTR which made going out and coming home very easy. It's also located near lots of shops, bars, restaurants and convenient stores. The apartment although small was great for two people, quite cosy. Despite being located right above LKF the noise level is quite reasonable. Ryan was a great host, responding efficiently and giving us lots of tips on how to get to and from the apartment with our luggage with was much appreciated

  Comments: Ryan's apartment in the middle of Lan Kwai Fong was the perfect location for my three-month stay in Hong Kong! The apartment is convenient and close to transport links; central MTR, large bus terminal, trams and taxis. Getting there from the airport was simple and the apartment was easy to find. Located in an area known for its nightlife, the room was reasonably quiet. This is also a plus as there is plenty of choice of food and drink right out side of the building! There is great choice of shopping from brand stores to small markets just down the road. I stayed for three months during my internship and found it had everything I needed. The room was comfortable and perfect for a single person, or even a couple for a shorter stay. There was also plenty of storage. The apartment was very clean and looked exactly like the images. Although we didn’t meet in person, Ryan was a great host and was easy to contact. I would stay again for sure!

  Comments: I waited over 30 minutes to get the key even though I called and let her know when I arrived. The circumstances around the house was dirty. The air-condition was so loud that I couldn't sleep well. The worst thing was that wifi didn't work at all. Despite these inconveniences, if you like clubbing or something like that, the location will be perfect.

  Comments: Let's start with the good, Ryan's place is in a very great location, just a few steps to pretty much anything you want in Central. It was nice to be near everything. Now the bad, the bed was really hard and it made it difficult to get sleep. Also I don't know what it is but a sheet and a comforter would be better than just a thick comforter on the bed. Half the time I was sweating while I was sleeping, the other half I was cold because I didn't have anything but the sweaty comforter to cover myself with. The AC was barely working while I was there, I ended up opening the windows once the temperature outside had dropped enough. I was also disappointed with the internet which kept failing while I was there. As I was coming from the US it was a handy thing to have so I wasn't constantly munching on my data plan, when it was up.

  Comments: Communication was fine with Ryan, both by text and calling him on Christmas Eve upon arriving at his place and picking the keys up. The location is ideally situated a short distance away from Central metro station and admidst the bars and nightlife just off D'Aguilar Street. I was concerned about the noise in the early hours post-Christmas Eve celebrations, but the room is round the back of the building and there was little or no noise, especially when ear plugs were popped in. The room has everything needed for a short stay and provides quiet comfort after a weary day wandering the streets of Hong Kong.

  Comments: Perfect for my needs. I stayed for a week and a half while looking for something permanent. Finding the hallway to the elevators was a little tricky arriving at 1am with the party rocking downstairs but it all worked out. Flat is small if you are used to US size but like I said, it did the job. I would stay again.

  Comments: Krystal & Ryan approved my stay super last minute and were incredibly helpful! I even missed my flight from London, arriving a full 24 hours later than anticipating. Regardless, Krystal communicated with my colleague who was able to check us in, no problem. The location is incredible... we were right in the thick of things. The shower was nice (separated from the toilet which I really appreciate) and the kitchen was equipped for cooking a bit when we weren't eating at the number of restaurants within a stone's throw of the apartment. We were grateful for the AC and fold out desk and table. This was a very productive trip to Hong Kong and I'll definitely be staying here next time if possible!

  Comments: This is a fantastic spot and Krystal/Ryan are incredible hosts -- they're so fast responding that sometimes you wonder if it's a bot you're working with. A really helpful + cool bot. To address a couple of the other review comments: (1) The place is indeed compact, as others note, but I would add that I'm a gangly 6'1 guy and had no problem living here for four months. (2) The internet/WiFi setup was replaced, and is now blazing fast and consistent. No problems at all. (3) Although the apt is directly in the center of LKF, the window faces out back and noise is minimal. I was an exchange student and regularly worked there without any problem. A few recommendations for people staying long-term: (1) the Pure Fitness in the California Tower just outside is one of the nicest gyms I've been to, and they'll work with you on price if you're only around a few months, (2) the BEP Vietnamese Kitchen right down the street was my favorite of the recommended restaurants, (3) If you're a bball player, there's a great court in Wan Chai (Southorn Playground) for pickup ball, and also a meetup group (HK Indoor Basketball Lovers) that rents gyms 4-5x/week and always has 18 men/women show up. (4) Krystal + Ryan have another spot one door down, so if you have friends/family visit it's very convenient to have them be able to stay there. Thanks Krystal + Ryan, you guys rock!

  Comments: Very central location - it's really in the middle of the party area, but it doesn't face the action so inside the apartment is actually fairly quiet even on a weekend night. The room is as described, and it really is very compact - I'm 6' and couldn't really do a push-up on the floor, for example, but Krystal and Ryan have packed a lot of useful appliances into the small space. Also Krystal is very kind and checked in several times during my stay. Given the great location I definitely wouldn't mind staying here again.

  Comments: I came to Hong Kong on a business trip and needed a simple, convenient, central place to call a home base. Krystal and Ryan's apartment did the trick! It's a small unit but completely furnished and self sufficient. A comfy double bed, kitchenette to reheat some leftovers, clean bathroom and shower, and even a little washing machine should you need it. It's right in the heart of LKF, so it's a little bustling on weekends. But if you want to be in the middle of all the action you can't beat it! Close to the MTR and Star Ferry too. Easy to get to from the airport. Anyways, this place was a nice place to call home for two weeks. Maybe I'll return someday! Phil

  Comments: Location - really convenient as it's just few mins away from Central MTR station, and this station is just a few stops from many popular spots like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. Host - super friendly and accomodating! I forgot to advise about my travelling details, but Krystal kept checking in with me to ensure my check-in on day 1 is smooth (despite being in San Fran!). And she kindly allowed late check-out even though it's a last min request. Size and condition of the airbnb is true to pics, and you have everything you need in that space at a good price, and at a prime location. It was a short trip but I had a smooth and pleasant one because of the great hosts.

It's full of nightlife outside but I also get a really good rest surrounded by a lot of nice pillows. This place has everything what you could need. I could even ironing my clothes before going out or cooking something nice in the mornings. Well recommended! Tidy, clean and nice.

The price is digestible, for Hong Kong lodging. Cons: The building, specifically the common areas and elevators, are not simply dated, but very dingy and unsafe-looking. As a single female traveling alone, I would've appreciated more heads up about the lack of security (over the two nights I stayed, the building front door remained open all night with no lobby attendant). There was some shouting and noise in the hallway at night, not uncommon for a city apartment, but not very comforting. The area is very commercial and crowded; if you're looking for a more residential / laid-back neighborhood, this might not be the right fit for you.

  Comments: If you're expecting a tiny crash pad for a short stay, that's exactly what you'll get, as this was the smallest place I've ever stayed in - that's true HK style for you, I suppose! It was pretty much as expected: a tiny studio (which is, however, Not as bright, or as well put together, as the photos suggest), with no view to speak of. It felt squashed for one person (particularly when my HK friends breezed by to check it out); two people, with luggage, could find the very limited space unwieldy. However, the studio's location is great - it's easy to find, and reach - with great communication, and the best put together Welcome pack (via email) I've ever had. Its good Washer/Dryer - And an iron! - were also greatly appreciated to have at the end of my holiday, and despite being set in the middle of several bars, the studio was pretty quiet. Would I recommend staying there? Yes, as a short-term, no-frills crash pad for one, if you just need an easy to reach place to sleep in, and to get your laundry done before heading Home. Worked for me!

  Comments: This place was exactly what we were looking for, a clean, comfortable place where we can crash peacefully in-between excursions in Hong Kong. The location of the apartment is right in the middle of LKF party area which is great for tourist nightlife. The apartment was surprisingly quiet at night allowing us to get a full nights sleep each night. I guess the location of the apartment is on the oposite side of the bars. Trying to get a cab back to the location may involve a walk at the end of the ride as some cab drivers refused to drive on the street because of pedestrian traffic. The Hosts did an amazing job getting the apartment ready for guests and the manual they provide is priceless. It gives you real insight on how locals live in Hong Kong. I would stay here again.   Comments: If you're into partying then LWF is a great location to be in. Beware that most of the restaurants in the area are a little pricier than average but that's HK! We stayed in the Kowloon side for 3 nights as well and preferred it there in terms of being more affordable, great street food and a healthy mix of fun and quiet. Krystal was very responsive and the place has great wifi. The guide she provided was also very helpful!

  Comments: Die Unterkunft von Krystal & Ryan liegt sehr zentral, nur eine Minute von Central MTR entfernt und direkt im Kneipenviertel KLF. Die Kommunikations war problemlos, Krystal stellt eine sehr gute Beschreibung mit sämtlichen Infos zur Anreise, Unternehmungen, Restaurants sowie Bar's und öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bereit - wirklich toll. Der Self Check-In klappt ohne Probleme. Allerdings war das Appartment sehr, sehr klein - noch keiner als Erwartet. Mit zwei Koffern hatten wir wirklich keinen Platz mehr zu laufen. Das Bett war leider sehr unbequem. Toilette befindet sich mit in der Dusche, bedeutet leider, dass man prinzipiell Barfuß auf Toilette muss, nachdem am Morgen geduscht wird, da es keinen Abzieher gibt und das Wasser nicht richtig abläuft. Alles in allem, gut für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp - länger hätte es allerdings nicht sein dürfen.

The place is pretty much what you expect out of a Hong Kong apartment in terms of size. I would say comfortable it would be up to a couple but as a solo traveler it was perfect. The place was clean and had an AC unit that could make the room cool in a couple of minutes. Wifi was great and so were the other amenities. One thing about the bathroom, (awesome rainfall shower head btw) it's a regular asian style shower/bathroom combo meaning there's a drain in the center. There is a slight barrier between the toilet and shower but it is still susceptible to being wet for a bit. Location wise this place is in the heart of Central right next to LKF (Bars and Nightlife area). Very convenient for a night out and also could not hear any noise from the apt! The directions from the MTR are easy and only about 5 minutes walking! Overall a great place relative to HK with an easy location and friendly hosts who can help you if needed!

The place is certainly big enough for two people who are used to being in tight quarters. It's located in the heart Lan Kwai Fung so there is plenty of activity as soon as you step out of the building. Even though the street is busy at night, the apartment is quiet. It's close to the train station which is convenient, and is centrally located which is also very convenient. Krystal was very responsive and helpful. She gives you a information package when you book that is full of helpful tips, restaurants, etc. Would be happy to stay here again on my next visit.

  Comments: Krystal and Ryan’s place is in the central of the central area, right in the heart of LKF bar street. I stayed there for six nights for a short work stay and family visit. Location is super convenient to walk to work and family visit in Kowloon is a few subway stations away. The studio, although tiny (typical of central apartments in HK) is spot clean and well equipped with necessary amenities. Only downside is because of its bustling nightlife location, it can get quite noisy during the night and thin wall would allow you to hear neighbor conversations. So careful choice for light sleepers... and because the building is quite old, elevator got broken down on my floor on last two days, but there’s a backup one that is one floor away. Overall it’s a very good choice for location-focused travelers for its price and Krystal is a super responsive host. Would consider stay again when I visit next time.

It was the perfect location to easily explore restaurants, bars, and shops -- and had impeccable access to the rest of Hong Kong via the MTR and Star Ferry. The studio is as advertised: very cozy, but with all the amenities you would need for a pleasant stay. Also, Krystal was very helpful and responsive; she gave us great tips on local fare! There is party every night at the base of he building before but you can't hear it at all- it's great. The space is tight but it's Hong Kong, so that's very normal. Right in the centre of Lan Kwai Fong and near to famous eateries. The towels and bedsheets didn't seem entirely clean and there was a slight smell of grease. Will still need ear plugs for light sleepers. The apartment is a very old one. Quite thin walls and can hear the Neighbours, vice-versa. Good for one person and even so was rather small for me and a big luggage. Easy to grab a taxi just outside. Asked for late check out and received a kind reply from owner. Thank you
