  Comments: Amazing apartment! This was a huge apartment in the middle of hip, Greenwich Village. The building itself is very clean, quite, and beautiful. Lots of great restaurants near by (perhaps too many choices!) The accommodations were very comfortable and was perfect for a few days, although I would love to stay longer. Josh was very responsive and check-in / out was no problem. I would recommend this apartment for sure and hope to be back soon!

  Comments: Joshua's apartment felt like home immediately. Conveniently located with a subway entrance within a 5 minute walk, the location also hosts many bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is fantastic. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is convenient and the shower and bathroom are in excellent condition.

  Comments: Location Location! Loved the area- near so many things. Very walkable even with our 7 year old. Apt is comfortable and as described. Be prepared for a noisy and authentic NYC- the windows face a busy street and it's active throughout the night.

  Comments: Comfortable stay in a fantastic location. Mike our main point of contact was great and had good communication. The home only featured 1 bed, the other two of the three were temporary/camping type beds which were not comfortable for all guests, but the main bed is very large.

  Comments: This place was centrally located to a cute downtown are of Greenwich and close by Chelsea Market and Highline area for great restaurants. So high marks for that!!  I have to say though that this feels like a dorm room with mismatched furniture, incredibly hard (not just firm) beds, 1 pillow for each person and very very basic of things that should be nicer for an Airbnb. There are just a couple older poor quality pots/pans, you will need to pick up what you need in the form of spices and the cheapest possible blow dryer that stops every 1-2 min so it can cool down. If you like extra extra firm bed, you will love this place ! Most of us do not but for some, they will like that aspect. The master bed was just as hard as the portable beds that that are in the 2nd room. It’s like putting a thin mattress on a wood floor and sleeping. Also to note for the light sleepers, there is hot water running through the pipes that squeals through the pipes all day/night so if you are a light sleeper ..that 2nd room or living room are not places to sleep between the hard bed, full light and noise. At the end of the day, it was a place to stay centrally located down south which is where we wanted to be.

  Comments: We absolutely loved our stay. I would certainly love to return and recommend the apartment to fellow travelers. My wife and I brought our kids for a trip and we had more than enough space. There’s an abundance of restaurants nearby, but the highlight was the excellent coffee shop on the first floor. We were able to walk downstairs and bring it up to the apartment every morning. You’re also centrally located and very close to subway stations. The host was very responsive and check-in was seamless.

  Comments: Joshua was very reactive in communicating, found a solution for us to check in early when my parents got in on the red eye and even managed to get us a baby bath for my newborn! The apartment is exactly as shown on the pictures, we had he small room made up as one bed which worked nicely for us, we were three adults and a baby. The apartment is very bright so my parents didn't mind spending a lot of time with the baby there. I came for work and will definitely try to book again next year! Thanks Joshua and Mike!

  Comments: The place is in a great location and check in and out was very easy. Joshua and Mike were attentive and accomodating to our needs. We had problems with no hot water every morning but one and cleaning had also not been done properly prior to our arrival. The cleaning was redone but on day 3 of our stay which wasn't ideal. The hot water problem was out of their control. The heating is also out of their control which meant the apartment was stupidly at all times other than when the hot water wasn't working! All the sheets were also really full static which meant if you moved in bed you got an electric shock! We had to put towels down on top of the sheets to stop the kids electrocuting themselves. Otherwise would be a 5 star review. Noise overnight and early morning as usual for Manhattan.

  Comments: The place couldn’t be in a better spot. Right next to the subway, the pizza and tapas joint downstairs are amazing. The beds are very hard, and remember ear plugs. You are right in the heart so sirens are a plenty. Very responsive. Kitchen needs a coffee pot, but otherwise has basic needs. Great place if you want to “be a local” and enjoy all the walkable jaunts.

  Comments: This is definitely what you want if you are looking for a nice appartment in one of the best parts of New York! Greenwich village is a very trendy area, lots of nice restaurants and bars. You can really feel yourself a ‘local’ New Yorker for a few days. Appartement was comfortable and suits perfect for a short stay with your family.

  Comments: Our experience at Joshua's place was absolutely positive, the apartment is nice and super well located: the subway station is just across the street and you'll find nice restaurants everywhere. What makes the difference is definitely the location, the neighborhood has a great atmosphere and makers you feel like a local. The second room is really small and the mattress are not so comfortable; in general the cleaning of the house could be done better. We felt like home at Joshua's place, after all day walking around the city, it was such a good feeling going back to this apartment. Thank you Joshua and Mike!!

  Comments: Joshua's place is amazing! It's incredibly spacious and extremely well located. It has an elevator and we were able to self check in. Also, we reserved his place last minute and he responded very quickly. The only minor complaint is that the master bed is rather firm and the bed in the second room is very difficult to sleep on.

  Comments: Amazing location, spacious living and helpful host. You will be minutes away from anything you need or want (convinience store, pizza shop, bbq joint all located right outside the building entrance) amongst the plethora of restaurants and bars. Could not have chosen a better location!

  Comments: Bel appartement très bien placé dans sur Greewich avec tout ce qu'il faut de bars restaurants, d'animation pour survivre à New York! Un peu bruyant (c'est New York) mais très agréable. Amis runners, vous êtes tout prêt de l'Hudson River avec ses promenades de plusieurs kilomètres sans feu rouge du nord au sud (vélos également). C'est Mark qui s'est occupé de nous avec beaucoup de réactivité. Merci!

  Comments: [This review will be submitted to the Airbnb Resolution Center.] We arrived in Joshua's apartment between 10:00pm and 10:30pm with 3 kids after traveling for several hours. When we opened the door, the first thing we saw was an overflowing garbage container. The bed in the master bedroom was used and unmade. The towels in the bathroom were used. We started making the beds and we realized that the bed-sheets in the linen closet were not clean. They had stains and smelled. It seems that they were simply folded and put in the linen cabinet. When we tried to change the pillows, we noticed that they had yellow stains; one had blood stains on it. We felt completely disrespected and unwelcome. We slept in bed-sheets used by others and left running from this apartment the next morning. The overall feeling of the apartment is tired and outdated. This is a very noisy place. The living room and the master bedroom have air-conditions on the windows giving the sense that the windows are open and all the noise constantly travels in the apartment. Lastly, a couple of days before our arrival. the owners explained to us that the apartment is an illegal airbnb and if anyone asked we should say that we are friends of them which did not make us feel very comfortable.

  Comments: Joshua's apartment is very comfortable and in an incredible location. We were only able to find 3 beds (a full, a twin foldaway, and a king), but we didn't have any trouble sleeping our group of 5. The unit does face the street, so an eyemask and earplugs might be a good idea for light sleepers who aren't used to city noise and streetlights. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I'm back in NYC :)
