  Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Jose's. The neighbourhood was quiet, safe and interesting with stores and amenities close-by. The subway was great - a bit of a walk away, but an express train that took us quickly into the city. The apartment itself was very comfortable, bright and clean with plenty of space for our family of five.

  Comments: Everything was fine, place was may be not very modern but clean and well kept, not far from transportation, in short - everything as described. Parking was not a problem as well, to my surprise - I thought it would be tricky to find a spot, but it was not at all. Good place!

  Comments: We stayed at Jose's place for one week and enjoyed it. It's a good size 2nd floor unit located at the back of a house. It is in a safe residential area that is quiet and convenient to Manhattan. The unit is bright with 2 bedrooms and a nice size living room. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a nice meal. There is a large grocery stores within 9 minutes walk. The A train subway station is 7 minutes walk with express trains into the city. Jose was a great host, He communicates effectively, is very responsive and prepared the house well for our arrival. Overall it was a nice stay in a quiet residential property with easy access to NYC.

  Comments: Jose's place is nice, comfortable, spacious and luminous. It is a 10/12-minute walk from the subway station and it seems a safe area even late at night. Downtown Manhattan is about 30 minutes away with the A train. Nothing to complain about. Perfect for a convenient vacation in NYC.

  Comments: The location close to the A line subway into Manhattan was great. Plus very easy to travel from JFK airport. Beds comfortable and clean. However could do with wine glasses and cork screw . Also a pack of useful information about the local area, shops, restaurants and WIFI password would not go amiss. Communication with host was excellent. Overall a great apartment.

  Comments: My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this cozy apartment in Queens. The beds are super comfortable, the temperature throughout the space was pretty nice, even though it was warm one day and freezing the next, and the neighborhood is super easy to navigate and very quiet. I loved how easy it was to get into Manhattan from there. Though it's still a bit of a trip once you get on the train, the station is just a short walk away. Jose was very responsive in the days leading up to our trip, and he continued to be responsive even after we arrived. I recommend this space for sure!

  Comments: Good value. Spacious, all necessary equipment. Prompt response. Pack 'n play available. The neighborhood is ok, subway 10 mins walk. Limited eating and gricery shopping options within walking distance. If travelling with a toddler be aware of the steep stairs and very hot heaters in the morning. We were struggling with shower pressure and temperature.

  Comments: We stayed in the apartment with 5 people for one week and we were all very pleased with the accommodation! It was clean, the rooms are big and the kitchen is equipped with the essentials. The couch for the 5th person was comfortable enough to sleep on. Check in and check out were simple and Jose was really quick and friendly answering questions during the stay! You can get to Manhattan easily by train A which comes every few minutes (express and local). But you should be aware that in the evening the A train operates only local so that it takes way longer. But for us who went to Manhatten in the morning and returned in the late evening it wasn't a problem at all. You cannot expect to be in Manhatten in 10 minutes for that price. I highly recommend this apartment!

  Comments: The apartment is very clean. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap. The couches had beautiful pillows. The area is very quiet. Both beds are comfortable. I have two recommendations, adding a list of channels and adding another tv to one of the bedrooms. We could not figure out your local tv channels, so the list would definitely help. The additional tv would be helpful since your apartment has two bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this place, and would definitely stay there again.

  Comments: Situated near an A train metro station, this location has direct transport links to the Airtrain (JFK), the Financial District, Times Square and Central Park. The self check-in allows guests to come and go as they please, and the host, Jose, was very quick to reply to any queries we had. Everything you could want from a stress free NYC city break.

  Comments: We decided to not stay at the place. My family and I, not being familiar with the area, found ourselves quite lost and not super safe. We also find what we believed to be mold in some corners of the apartment and decided to leave the premises. On a positive note Jose, the owner, was very helpful and communicative during our message exchanges. He checked the place out after my feedback to him and confirmed that it was not mold what we saw. The apartment is quite of a deal to stay in NY for cheap, but you need to be willing to travel a bit to get to visit Manhattan and figure out places to go to.

  Comments: Our stay was fantastic! We had a great time at the apartment. Jose was extremely accommodating, and everything was clear and laid out for us upon our arrival, in the manual provided. This meant that we didn’t have to ask much of anything throughout our stay, and could refer to the manual if any problems were met. The apartment is in a prime location, with many grocery shops and food spots nearby. The area took us back at first, but it didn’t take us long to settle in - the area is family friendly, and is extremely safe, quiet, and secluded. Local transport is great! With the local subway within a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The express train takes you straight into Brooklyn within 10-15 minutes, Manhattan within 20-30, and is no hassle to navigate at all. We would highly recommend!

Parking was much easier than it would be in Manhattan and could find spots with no problem. He was very flexible when it came to a later check out which came in handy when I wanted to get some extra sleep. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

  Comments: Very comfortable an cozy apartment, with everything we needed. Only 10 minutes by foot to the next metro station, a supermarket, a diner and so on. And only around a half hour with the metro to the JFK. We had a great time there and recommend Josés apartment to everybody.

  Comments: We stayed in Jose's place - as a family of 4 with a 15 and 13 year old. The apartment is clean and comfortable and had all the amenities you need and excellent wi-fi. There is a nearby supermarket and various eateries and take-away restaurants ( menus provided in the apartment). For delivery of take aways, we found they were not keen to take a foreign (UK) mobile number as a contact number but with persistence, they eventually took the order and we had nice Chinese and Japanese meals. This is a good place to base yourself when visiting NYC but it takes approx 40 mins to get into Manhattan - the Subway service is very frequent- so some planning is needed. Highlights of our trip were cycling in Central Park, walking over Brooklyn Bridge and in DUMBO, visiting the 9/11 memorial/ museum, the usual tourist sites, walking the High Line, and seeing Broadway shows. We picked up reasonably priced tickets by going to 'tkts' (in Broadway) and queuing up 2 hours before curtain up as they sell off the empty seats at a discount. Jose was easily contactable but we had no problems during our trip.

  Comments: Jose’s place was exactly as advertised. We had a great stay. It was convenient for us to where our friends live and had plenty of space for the three of us (myself, husband, & baby). We loved the pack-and-play for our baby to sleep in. Parent tip: there is not a traditional dining table so if you plan on feeding a baby or small child, you may want to bring a booster seat that attaches to a chair, which is what we did for our 10mo old and it worked great! Jose is super speedy with communication and the place was easy to find. Lyfts & Ubers were readily accessible. The kitchenette was well stocked and made it super easy for us to make a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. We’ll definitely stay again if we’re going to be in the area.
