  Comments: We had a great time at Brad's place. The location was great (away from the crowds of downtown Kona) with a nice garden view from the second floor. We loved having breakfast on the spacious lanai...very relaxing! The unit was very clean and Brad provided most everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The pool was very nice and the kids loved having that option when they wanted a break from the beautiful beaches. The tennis courts looked nice, but for some reason were closed during our stay. There was no AC and we were there during a very hot/humid time period which made it a bit uncomfortable, but overall, we'd stay again and recommend! Brad was super responsive and great to work with!

  Comments: The condo was beautiful, the location perfect! Directions and checking in, getting settled were all smooth. The condo had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The only downside I had was the lack of air conditioning. That being said, it was my mistake to assume and not ask! Every room, including the bathrooms, had ceiling fans plus there were additional floor fans available. I came to the realization that we are spoiled Oregon girls not used to the island heat and humidity! Aside from that, it was an awesome stay and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

  Comments: Brads place is very nice with a large covered open patio. No Air Conditioning but lots of ceiling fans. Two bathrooms makes it great for families. He has soft cooler, beach chairs, boogie board. Nice Kitchen with dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans to cook if you wish. WiFi was clocked at 15 Mbps. Balcony looks towards a lush thicket of trees with birds about 100 feet away. Thanks Brad.

  Comments: Four of stayed at Brad's place and we had a great vacation. We really enjoyed having coffee in the morning on the lanai listening to the birds. Everything we needed was there from beach towels and chairs to the blender for fruit smoothies. We also enjoyed going to the pool to cool off on hot afternoons. The location was quiet and it was an easy to get to other places we wanted to go.

  Comments: As advertised and then some. Nice clean home to stay in with a 1 minute walk to the lava cliffs overlooking the ocean or a 3 minute walk to a sandy beach. I would for sure stay here again. Brad was always prompt in replaying to my questions as well. Mahalo!

  Comments: Brad's place is a spacious apartment in a great complex. It is well located to Southern Kona. The complex is on a quiet beach area and also has a great pool. The apartment is quiet and well sized. The complex is only minutes from a shopping center that has everything. Brad is a great host. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. However, I found the kitchen to be poorly equipped with no proper cutting knives, limited cooking tools such as wooden spoons or a colander, and it had only small number of plates/bowls. When I gave this feedback to the manager he went out immediately and purchased those items for me. The apartment is also ageing: the washing machine broke down while we were there (but it was replaced with a big brand new one), the dishwasher did not work great so I ended up hand washing everything, and the carpets were ageing. The blinds also do no close well in the master, which let in a lot of light at night. But we found it to be good value.

  Comments: Very nice condo with nice garden views. Quick walk to the pool or to the ocean and located near a great snorkeling beach and close enough to Kona to get to easily but not so close that we felt like we were in the buzz of a downtown area.

  Comments: Our stay at Brad's place was excellent. The condo was large, clean with full size kitchen and laundry. We are a family of four and our stay was comfortable. There are fans in each room as there is no central AC. This was not an issue for most nights except for two, which were bit warm and humid. There is a shopping center nearby and downtown is few minutes away. There is an assigned parking space for your rental car. The state's best beach, Hapuna beach, is 30-40min local drive. There are tennis courts, outdoor grill and pool on the property. Brad provided beach towels, chairs (4), umbrellas (2) and beach mats, He is super responsive and provided tips for best places to visit during our vacation. Rental car is a must.

Everything we needed was there including an extra snorkel set, beach towels, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards. Beautiful decor and accessories. We will return!

  Comments: Brad's place is definitely as described. The place is updated with all the amenities needed to make it a great stay. The lanai gives a nice and cozy look to a garden like setting. The master bedroom has private doors to the lanai as well and the Japanese style doors adds a fabulous touch. Brad was quick to answer all questions we had and may sure our stay was as comfortable as we expected it to be. He truly is a superhost and we're definitely looking forward to staying at his place in the future.

  Comments: Brad’s Condo was exactly my sister and I needed for our first trip to the big island :). Beds and sheets were comfortable, shops and groceries nearby, condo itself was clean, nicely decorated and furnished with beautiful scenery facing the garden. We personally didn’t use the grills or pool but saw groups enjoying the outdoor area on our walk to the Oceanside to watch the sunset. being an asthmatic my biggest concern was vog in the area, but I had no issues at all. The volcanic erruption didn’t interrupt our trip except for keeping us off parts of the island, I highly recommend ! Oh and the bag of coffee was greatly appreciated :)

  Comments: Brad’s place is great to stay! It’s spacious, clean and safe. Beautiful surroundings and pool area. The condo was with full size kitchen and laundry. There is an organic supermarket 25 min drive north - Island Naturals. They also offer cold and warm buffet. Delicious. You can also reach a pretty cool snorkel spot in a 30 min drive south. We really enjoyed our stay here! Thank you Brad! Absolute recommendation!

  Comments: This unit was spacious, well decorated and air conditioned. The facility is quiet, secure and has historical significance. It's located close to a grocery store and great swimming. There is also a quiet beach on-site to enjoy sunsets. Although it's a large complex, it feels small and all the neighbors have the "aloha" mentality that make it feel like a small- I've known you a long time- kind of feel. We felt at home immediately and enjoyed Brad's place as if it were our own home. The owners are very attentive and friendly and aim to make our stay a great one. We look forward to returning again sometime. Thank you for making this stay a great one. You truly understand how to help a guest move in and get ready for a great time on the "Big Island". Mahalo!

  Comments: The rental unit is quite nice. The lanai is great, as is the living room, kitchen and master bathroom (including laundry). The unit has no shortage of beach towels either! The beds are not great though, they are quite hard. The dishwasher also is not the best, it acted up a bit, stopping its cycle shortly after starting. The buildings themselves are pretty old and sound travels very easily, especially the neighbours stomping around upstairs (which can make for some rough mornings). The location is nice if you want to be a bit outside the busy area. There is a little shopping centre about a 2min drive away for groceries and things of that nature. There is a rocky cliff area that makes for great sunsets and you can walk to a black sand beach at the north end of the complex to see turtles (if you are lucky). To walk to the nearest public beach, it's about a 10min walk, but we had a great time snorkeling at this beach (for whatever reason the wildlife here was more abundant than at Hanauma Bay in Oahu - even saw some sea turtles). Communication was a bit of a problem, though Brad responded quickly. The instructions could use some work, as "Directions from your host" and "check-in instructions" contain different information (importantly, the gate code was not included in the check-in instructions). Also, the wifi details provided were not correct, but in the guidebook in the house, they were correct. The host mentioned that there would be a second set of keys in the unit but they were nowhere to be found. Overall, the unit provided good value, though there were some flaws which could be improved upon.

  Comments: Brad was responsive and provided all information very quickly. We loved the lanai to enjoy the garden view, but unfortunately weren't near enough the ocean to hear it! The lanai didn't get too much of a breeze, so we were mostly able to use in the early morning. The air conditioning in the unit was a MUST HAVE. This seems to be a rental property only, so there were a few nice touches that were missing, but otherwise it's a great space. We appreciated the pack and play for our baby's use and loved using the pool the whole time.

The shopping center on the hill had everything we needed and only just a short, uphill walk away. The condo had the necessary equipment for all the our activities.
