We had a great time and we can absolutely recommend this home. Excellent communication with the host who really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home.

  Comments: Izzy and her apartment are both amazing. It was such a great, easy process. Communication was wonderful, any questions we had Izzy responded to immediately. As for the apartment, it is fantastic. The photos don't do it justice. It was an amazing place to stay, lovely and clean and so so quiet and just perfect as a base to explore NY. Izzy also left a lovely 'care package' with lip balms etc in the bathroom. The apartment had everything you would want. A wonderful place.

  Comments: Izzy's apartment is the perfect location in midtown east. It's a spacious and well maintained apartment, close to every amenity including many restaurants and supermarkets. The hosts are welcoming and were very responsive in case of any queries. Perfect for a long trip and I would love to stay here again!

  Comments: Izzy was very responsive with our questions upon our arrival as well as beforehand. The neighborhood is fabulous with grocery stores, a great patisserie, restaurants, etc. all within half a block. The doormen were also very helpful with suggestions. Instead of the two big screen TV's in the living room, as pictured, there is now a HUGE pull-down screen the length of the bookcases with a projector-type TV. The guys loved it for the final NCAA basketball game. The apartment is on the ground floor and even some of the passers-by on the street commented on the size of the screen. There is a Sonos sound system operated by an iPad that the owners provide that we loved as well. The bedrooms are in the back with windows that open and at night, even with the windows open, it was very quiet. The two cribs plus a bassinet, tub toys, etc. make it very infant friendly. However, there is a circular stairway that leads to a loft which is not kid-friendly in the sense that there are no barriers other than the one railing to prevent falls to the lower level. Izzy was kind enough to let us use the sofa-bed upstairs in the office for our adult son who was with us for part of our stay. The kitchen is very well stocked as this is an apartment that is lived in when not rented. Closet space was a bit tight. This really is a HUGE apartment for New York and it was so nice to be able to relax comfortably when we weren't out exploring. We even had a Sunday brunch for 11 people who, like us, were in town for a wedding and there was more than enough room for us all. Highly recommend.

  Comments: Having arrived in NYC late afternoon our driver dropped us off at what we thought was the right address.....panic started to set in when we couldn't find the apartment! As it turned out, I had incorrectly recorded the address and the apartment building was only some 20m up the road. When I called Izzy, she responded promptly and welcomed any further contact or queries we might have; the doorman had our key and was expecting us. The apartment was great it, accommodated the four of us well with plenty of space to relax after the long and adventurous days in New York. The apartment had a theatre set up which was great for watching movies. The apartment location was perfect for us with lots of great restaurants within walking distance, which meant we didn't have to go far for late night dinners. There was a supermarket around the corner on 2nd Ave which again was very convenient and great bagel shop on 3rd Ave which the kids really enjoyed for breakfast.

  Comments: Oh my goodness! Wonderful space, remarkably quiet. Lovely amenities. Beds just heavenly and you float away! Best of all location: we are theatre buffs and went to Broadway twice: in a cab it would have been a nightmare (traffic solid) but we had a very pleasant 20-min stroll there and back both nights. When we did take the tube so easy: 2 short blocks from mainline tube taking you north and south. One of our favourites became the fabulous grand central station (only 10 minutes away): famous oyster bar, balcony bars to people watch and the extremely interesting and hidden Campbell bar A fantastic place from which to explore New York!

  Comments: My family and I stayed at Izzys home for 3 nights. The apartment is in a great location, close to midtown , walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and all that nyc has to offer. The apartment is a perfect place to stay. It's clean, well equipped with anything you may need - kitchen, linens, tv, wifi, and it feels warm as if you're staying in your own home. Izzy was an exceptional host, she included all info we needed to make our stay run smooth and was available to answer questions. My family and I would stay at Izzys home again in a New York minute!

  Comments: The Force is strong with this one! My family and I had a total blast staying at Izzy's beautiful home. This was the best Airbnb experience I've had, and will likely remain the best indefinitely! The home is SO elegant, it is a real treat. We loved everything about it. Izzy conveniently left a House Manual throughout the house, instructions were very clear and helpful. Izzy was consistently responsive, and just an awesome host! (She should be an Airbnb Ambassador ;) )The doormen were extremely courteous as well, we even received recommendations for New Years Eve celebrations which turned out to be spectacular! The icing on the cake for me was the abundance of Jedi Master Yodas scattered throughout the house. All in all, staying at Izzy's made our NYC holiday vacation AMAZING! Definitely hope to stay in the Giant Loft again in the future!

  Comments: Although we never met our host check-in went smoothly and the doorman was there to give us our keys even though we were late arriving given delays at JFK. The apartment is centrally located in a great area with a 24hr grocery store 1 block away. The apartment has all the amenities as advertised with a well equipped kitchen which makes a family holiday much more enjoyable.

  Comments: This is a fabulous large, stylish apartment in a great location in Midtown East - centrally placed for all sightseeing but still feels like you are living in a stylish neighbourhood as a local. The apartment is very well decorated and appointed and super comfortable to live in. The living room is a great communal space and the bedroom was very comfortable. Izzy was a generous host leaving not only a bottle of champagne for our NYE celebrations, but also a thoughtful basket of "necessities" in the bathroom for use during our stay. The location is a favourite of ours, well catered for by many local restaurants and bars, cinemas and corner stores, but also walking distance to the theatre district, 5th Avenue and a short cab ride to uptown or down. We had a wonderful stay at Izzy's Place and recommend it highly for the perfect Manhatten stay.

The spacious home is very kid-friendly and we were able to keep the baby comfortable in what would probably be a stressful first experience away from home. The playroom and nursery definitely helped out! With easy access to the Metro, we had the entire city (and more!) within walking distance. Thank you Izzy! We definitely look forward more trips to the city now that we know of a great place to stay for children!

Her home is clean, cozy (really a home away from home type of feel) and offers great amenities (wifi, coffee maker, larger kitchen space for NYC).   Comments: Veldig flott og stor leilighet. Lå i 1. etg men begge soverom mot stille bakgård. Rolig gate. Stille til å være på Manhatten. Var trygt å gå rundt i området. Restauranter og matbutikk rett i nærheten. Kul og moderne leilighet. Perfekt for familie med 2 voksne og 2 barn, men har sovesofa på hems om man er flere. Vi var 5 ( 2 voksne, barn 17, 16 & 8). 2 flotte bad og veldig bra kjøkken. Kjempegode senger og luftig og god plass. Veldig enkelt med doormen og sikkert med 2 dører før man kom inn til døren til leiligheten. Gitter foran vinduer. Moderne aircondition med både kjøling og varming. Generelt en varm leilighet om man reiser om vinteren. Vasking er inkludert i leien. Izzy var på ferie, men svarte raskt på spørsmål hele veien. Kule møbler, designelementer og innredning. Romslig og fin leilighet. Absolutt verdt prisen.

It's a stunning apartment, with possibly everything you may need. It's perfect if you are travelling with young kids as there is a great play room with really quality toys. Great doorman, and perfect location. When we go back to NY, this place would be our first choice!

  Comments: Hvis du tager til NYC med børn - så er Izzys lejlighed et helt perfekt valg! Vores to børn på 1 og 3 år var vildt begejstrede over legetøj, badekar og bilsengene. Beliggendheden er klart i et roligt kvarter og alligevel er alt det spændende i gåafstand. En perfekt kobling til at opleve byen uden stress og jag. Super hurtigt og god kommunikation med Izzy - den varmeste anbefaling på alle leder og kanter!
