However the poble became part of the whole when the vast Eixample district was constructed, bridging the gap between itself and the Old Town. Gracia is the district to choose for those who want to enjoy the charms of a bohemian and multicultural Barcelona which offer a great variety of cafes terraces and sunny little squares during the day as in the evenings is a real hub of Barcelona's nightlife with its restaurants and bars.
