  Comments: We absolutely loved staying at The Cov. The house was delightful, full of character, clean and equipped with everything we could need. Communication from Joy was excellent and the location of the house was perfect for us. We highly recommend staying at this place and we'll be back for sure, we hope. Joy was also hugely helpful when I left my earrings behind. She went out of her way to make sure I had them before we were on the road again.

  Comments: Really a comfortable house for the family. Very convenient traffic to the city and community nearby. Only 4 minutes' walk to Marrickville train station. The house is federation style with beautiful high ceiling, the landlord has excellent taste for selection of pictures, such as oil painting, Chinese painting, scenery pictures, make the house vivid, I like them very much! The facilities in the kitchen are all ready. The landlord is very communicative, thoughtful. The car can be parked alongside the street freely. By the way, there is a very good Chinese restaurant supplying Canton breakfast, tasteful and original, just by 10 minutes' walk.

  Comments: The Cov House is beautiful, and beautifully appointed. We cooked a Christmas lunch there and found everything we needed in the kitchen, and the rest of the house was no different. Joy responds promptly to messages and was very helpful both before and during our stay. We had a lovely Christmas and couldn’t have asked for anything more.

  Comments: Joy is a super smart host that has thought of everything a guest could need. Seems silly, but I appreciated all the USB chargers around the house in the perfect spots. Really considerate with her communications too. Was as smooth as you'd hope.

  Comments: We had a great stay, the house is family friendly and in an excellent location! Joy was very accommodating and responsive to all of our questions. We had a very nice little journey by train into the city each day and much preferred staying in a nearby suburb compared with the city center. Would recommend this house to anyone.   Comments: “It was the best of times it was the worst of times”. Best- the House was superb, beautifully furnished in a good location. Worst- 1. The door lock broke and we got trapped inside the house for almost two hours on our first morning. Which was harrowing with small children and no food. 2. The host could not be contacted when we had trouble with Check in. Leaving us standing on the door step with young children at 11pm at night. 3. The renovations next door were quite loud especially with young children sleeping during the day. Overall I think the place is great but we were unlucky with the mishaps.

  Comments: The host is really helpful, the place itself was disappointing. You feel a bit trapped in there as it's a house that has been cut into 2 flats and this one has no real outlook or access to the outside... other than the path to the front door. If you are basically just sleeping there it probably wouldn't be an issue but if you want somewhere where you can relax in a lounge room, cook a dinner and sit down and enjoy it etc etc this probably won't be what you are after. Really close to the station though, which was great. Nice high ceilings. Just not that comfortable or welcoming.

  Comments: Ideal location for Marrickville and very convenient for the city train. The Cov is exactly as described, Joy checked regularly that all was well. Hope to be able to stay here again for next Sydney visit
