Summary: 1,000 sq ft pre-war LARGE 1 bedroom apartment with a spacious living room, and both have queens beds. Our place sleeps 4 (Plus a sleeping bag for 5). 1 block from local (M, R) and express (E,F) trains to Manhattan in approx 30 min. This is to the first stop in Manhattan is 59th and Lexington AKA midtown Manhattan! Connections to N,W,R and 4,5,6 trains there.

Space: Massive living room and bedroom. Main bedroom has a TEMPURPEDIC queen bed (sooooo comfy). Couch has queens size pull out as well. Very clean, filled with original art, antique furniture and all the basics for food, cooking, and pretty much anything else you need. We even have kettle bells, weights, yoga mats and other workout equipment. We often live there so it is well equipped in general. Coffee/espresso and tea + any snacks we leave out and condiments you are more than welcome to use. Sometimes we leave special treats, too =)

Neighborhood Overview: Near by: we have two super markets, a chase bank, a M&T bank, a Starbucks, a CVS, a gym and an adorable cafe with great food (Roast n' Co) app within two blocks! The area is very safe, so is the building. Everyone is really friendly.

Notes: We want to make sure you enjoy your stay as much as possible so please let me know if there is anything I can do to make it extra special.

Transit: The subway is at the top of the hill on 67 drive which has the R and the M. You can also walk 9 minutes in the opposite direction to catch the express E and F trains. Either way you can be in midtown Manhattan in about 30 minutes. To make sure you exit a block from the apartment, always get on the FIRST CAR of the subway train and get out on the NORTH SIDE (indicated). Then simply walk down the hill and turn right to find our place.

Access: You have access to the entire apartment, however please be mindful of drawers and doors that have been taped to indicate no access. We will make sure to leave out anything that you need. In the case that we absolutely cannot be there to greet you we have any easy system with a key in a lock box attached to the side gate. We can discuss details if that ends up being the case.

House Rules: Please take special note: NO PETS and NO SMOKING is permitted. We will keep the $500 deposit if we feel you have broken this rule. Also, please be respectful of everything that you use. Anything that is broken will require replacement. Please let us know so that we can make it an easy process without involving Airbnb.

    Comments: I was the first individual to stay in Eva's apartment which is very accommodating and spacious. Only issue we had was communication with entering the building and unlocking the door. Besides that, this was a very nice place with great location. Eva reached out for suggestions, so I have no doubt the next guest to stay in her home will not have an issue and enjoy the stay.

    Comments: Eva was super nice and able to accommodate us arriving earlier than check-in time. Even though the place is a little far from Manhattan the 20 min subway ride was worth the time difference. I would stay here again.

    Comments: Minus - Bathroom was very dirty and apartment not cleaned probably for quite long. No fresh bedding provided ( possibly by mistake). Plus - Very good communication with host, apartment was spacious and uncluttered. Photos are quite accurate. It takes 10 minutes to metro station and with express train it is 30-40 minutes to midtown manhattan.

    Comments: Pros: the apartment is large and bright. It is well furnished with all the necessary amenities. The area is quiet and safe. We liked how close it was to public transport (bus and subway to easily access downtown) as well as close to coffee shops and neighborhood markets. Eva was available to answer questions very quickly and was an agreeable host even though we did not meet. Cons: cleanliness. The apartment appears to not have been cleaned in a couple of days and the sheets were not fresh.

    Comments: My stay at Eva's place was great. The building is in a safe neighborhood with many businesses and places to eat within a block or two. It's also within a 5-10 minute walk from two different subway stations. Manhattan was about 25-30 minute ride on the subway.
