  Comments: Kara is truly an outstanding host. From start to finish, she was quick to communicate and exceptionally thoughtful. She even went out of her way to save a great parking spot for us on the street, and left toys and treats for our dog to enjoy. The apartment itself is lovely. Kara keeps her home spotlessly clean and her taste in decoration makes the space feel both luxurious and welcoming. I really can't emphasize enough how amazingly clean and tidy the home was - as dog owners ourselves, we have no idea how she manages to keep her place so totally free of dog fur. Comfy leather furniture, high end appliances, lovely artwork, and soft linens give Kara's home a very upscale feel. The neighborhood is lively and full of history; we found the street noise to be quieter than most other parts of NYC, and Kara's neighbors are very friendly. There's a subway stop just around the corner on the 2/3 line. Be sure to follow Kara's recommendation for her favorite breakfast spot when you're on the way to or from the subway - we are certainly very glad we did! Kara, thank you once more for your hospitality and thoughtfulness! We hope to visit your home again soon, and would highly recommend it to others.

  Comments: Kara's place was great for our trip. It is a lovely, surprisingly spacious (for NY) and cozy apartment. We enjoyed the great big couch, color coded bookshelf, Apple TV, kind and pleasant building neighbors, nicely furnished and finished rooms- bath and kitchen are nice! Bed was very comfortable- and more. Morningside was great for breakfast, as Kara recommended, and so was Pompette wine shop on 131st. She was very accommodating in every way and using her space was comfortable and felt natural. We loved being able to walk to the 135th st. Station to catch 2 & 3 trains to get around Manhattan easily. The only difficulty for us was parking- free parking on the street is ample but we had to do a little dance to get a spot on a busy holiday weekend. It was no problem, just a necessary challenge because we had our car.

  Comments: Kara's apartment is exactly like the pics, it's a lovely place to stay, sometimes there are noise during the night but is not really bad. Kara is a good host, the communication was really easy. The neighborhood is well communicated, the metro stop is trhee blocks away.

Her place is great very clean and has everything you need to make it feel like your own home. Neighbourhood is great and lots of free parking available but patience is required. 20 min cab/Uber rides from her place to the city. As I told her already when I do come back I will definitely be looking for her place again. Thanks again Kara!

Kara was quick to respond to all of my messages. She even left out her dogs toys and dog bed for our pup! We would definitely stay again.

  Comments: We stayed at Kara's place over 3 days during May while visiting NYC. The check in process way really easy and Kara made sure to contact us to let us know there was a lock being repaired before we arrived. Kara's place is in a gated community with a nice playground, park in the middle. The apartment was spacious and clean (towels, soap, shampoo all provided). The air-conditioning was very welcome as it was very warm out during our stay. The location is excellent, only a short walk to the 2 and 3 lines, with plenty of restaurants within a few blocks (Kara has a very helpful list of suggested places to try in the apartment) . Would highly recommend if you are planning on staying in the Harlem area. We found it to be a great base from which to explore the city. Thanks again Kara!

  Comments: Charming apartment, Kara is very welcoming. Nice touches in the apartment, and plenty of room for two. Building is undergoing some nice renovations which caused no issues in terms of noise but is not very sightly. We had some issues walking on the street where we were made to feel uncomfortable and then did not feel safe to walk around at night. If you are more city-comfortable, particularly in Harlem, this should not be a problem. It was easy to catch an Uber or train to Central Park or Mid-Town. Location is not a far drive from LaGuardia.

  Comments: Karas place was amazing! Pictures don't do it justice I mean it's cute in pictures but it was so much more in person. As soon as we walked in we had a note with rules and tips as well as places to go for food entertainment etc then in the room I had a personalized lit up note welcoming me to the city(absolutely adorable) and pretty much anything we could need during our stay was available there. There was a hiccup with check-out which was entirely my fault mixing up the date and she worked with me even got me help with Air BNB support and I found another place almost immediately... Will definitely be staying there next time i'm in the city ❤️

  Comments: We thought Kara’s place was very well appointed, clean and tidy. It was a great base to explore Harlem, and Kara’s suggestions about things to do in the area were spot-on. We found access to other parts of Manhattan to be easy by either bus down 5th Ave or 2/3 subway. Kara was delightful to communicate with, and very helpful. The apartment itself is in a lovely complex with a tranquil feel to it. We’d stay again without a moment’s hesitation.

  Comments: Kara’s apartment was more than I could have expected. It’s very peaceful and quiet at night and lively during the day. You’ll definitely sleep well in her space. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect. I couldn’t help myself so I just had to take advantage of her amazing kitchen!! The stove/oven is perfect for those of us that feel the need to cook. The views were great as well. It’s easy access to the highway and there many places to eat and walk around. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Kara’s if you want a good value and a place that really feels like home.
