  Comments: Joe's place is comfortable, relatively quiet (given its location) and very convenient. It is close to the subway, restaurants and broadway. Our family of 5 were comfortably accommodated. We enjoyed being able to go out in Manhattan and then come back for a reprieve from the craziness of NY before heading out again. We felt a bit uncomfortable about having to hide our stay from the neighbours as we were told on arrival to never answer the door and to not go out into the stairwell if someone is out there. Coming from a friendly neighbourhood in Australia, this felt weird but in the end it was not a problem as the couple of people we passed were friendly and smiled, seeming completely unconcerned about us being there. Thank you Joe!

  Comments: My family and I stayed at the apartment for about a week and everything was great. We were four adults and a baby of 9 month, one flight of stairs worked with a stroller. We were a bit late for the planed check-in but he patiently waited for us witch we really appreciated. The communication with Joe was very good and we always felt secure with our booking and stay. Overall a very nice apartment in the middle of NYC with a great owner. Thanks for the stay Joe!

  Comments: This home is in a perfect location for getting around NYC. It was a very safe neighborhood. There were 5 of us girls traveling and we had plenty of space for all of us. Joe was at the home waiting for us when we got there and explained how everything worked. Everyone was pleased with how big the place was. There were air conditioners in every room and the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. We were able to walk to Times Square, Central Park, Broadway, and so many good restaurants. The subways were just down the street and an easy ride to Penn Station and The WTC. I would definitely stay here again.

  Comments: Joe’s place was great for our family of 4. Big...lots of room...even a king-size bed. Check-in was a breeze. It’s right smack in the middle of Hell’s Kitchen, but also just a few blocks away from Times Square and all the theaters. For being in the middle of the action, the apartment is surprisingly quiet. All in all, an excellent experience. We will be back.

  Comments: I can't thank Joe enough for making my first try with Airbnb a wonderful experience. I'm hooked! He was a thoughtful and attentive host - even came and replaced the router so the WiFi would work properly. For our large family party of 5, this was so much more economical and comfortable than 2 hotel rooms. The location was perfect - safe, convenient, everything within walking distance. The apt was exactly as advertised - actually, it was much bigger than expected as far as NY apts go, and included all the amenities we needed for out stay over the Thanksgiving holiday (I loved the well-stocked, roomy kitchen). My kids (3 teenagers) especially appreciated the 3! large screen TVs and having enough room to spread out. They had such a great time that they want to make Thanksgiving in NYC a tradition now!   Comments: My girlfriends and I️ were in NYC for a girls trip and stayed overnight at Joe’s apartment. Everyone enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by Reuban who gave us a tour and went over some house rules. Everything was like it stated in the bio. The apartment was clean and spacious ( accommodated 5 of us perfectly) and felt like Home. Close to Times Square. Would recommend his place.

Everything from clean towels, dishes, coffee filters, clear down to the cork screw wine glasses. This was the New York City trip of a lifetime for my wife and daughters. Half the time we wanted to just hang out in the apartment and cook meals from the local markets. Can’t say enough this was world class comfort and my new place to stay when going to NYC.

  Comments: Really central location made it super easy to get around. We didn’t have any issues come up, and Joe was a great host. His apartment was just the right size for us and great for a long weekend in the city. There were TVs, fans, and space heaters in each room (since the building has radiator heat and hard to control like many older New York buildings), a fully furnished kitchen with a Keurig, hardwood floors throughout, and comfy beds.

  Comments: A comfortable and cozy apartment! Joe's place is incredibly located, well-maintained, and a good size for an NYC apartment. Joe was an excellent communicator, and check-in was stress-free. With that in mind, Joe's place is a classic NYC apartment, which it's in an older but renovated building, and unfortunately has nosy neighbors. I wouldn't recommend Joe's place if you're looking for a hotel-style stay, but if you want a real NYC/Airbnb experience, Joe's place will do nicely!

  Comments: This was my first Airbnb experience and I can't say enough how easy it was working with Joe. His home is amazing! The size, comfort, amenities, and LOCATION were great. The first day, we didn't realize how close we really were to Time Square until we walked to the Gershwin Theater to watch Wicked. It was just around the corner. The perfect location to get wherever you want, whenever you want. The home itself was perfect for my family of 4. We could easily have added another 2 without issue. I highly recommend Joe and his home!

The apartment is top notch with all the amenities listed and my family of 4 felt right at home relaxing after a long day checking out Manhattan. Joe's apartment is 100 times better than booking a small hotel room in the area for basically the same price per night in the Times Square area plus Joe's apartment has much more room as well! Great location and great communication from Joe if you have any questions before or during your stay. We will definitely stay with Joe again the next time we are in NYC!

Joe was an awesome host, and we loved the apartment. It for the perfect location for Broadway shows, and was close to Times Square, restaurants, markets, and subway stations.   Comments: If you want to be in the heart of time square this is your best bet. Nice comfortable space blocks away from restaurants, coffee shops & shopping! Easy to find. Nice neighborhood. 24 hour Rite Aid right at the corner. Paid parking lot right down the street. Great pizza restaurant right down the street. Great steak restaurant right across the street. Subway right at the corner. Street meter parking after 6pm. I would definitely stay here again. It was so convenient. Not far from the freeway to go into Brooklyn either. Joe was easy to get in touch with for anything that we needed.

So well placed to get to Times Square, numerous restaurants, and with a theatre and the subway on the same block, I’m not sure you could ask for much more from a holiday rental. The apartment building is well looked after and secure. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped for relaxing when taking a rest from the tourist attractions of NYC.   Comments: Great apartment in a fantastic location. We were a quick 5 minute walk to Time Square and 15 minute walk to Central Park. The subway is literally steps away which was very convenient. The apartment was also close to 'Restaurant Row' so we had a hard time deciding where to eat there were so many options. Joe met us at the apartment when we checked in and went over everything with us. The apartment was perfect for my wife and I as well as our two teen aged daughters. We plan on returning to New York city and will stay at this apartment again. Highly recommended!

  Comments: Amazing location, right on the edge of the theatre district and restaurant row. The flat is on a side street, got a bit loud on Fri/Sat nights but otherwise nice and quiet. The flat is well appointed, nice towels and all necessary kitchen equipment. The couch is large and comfortable, great for relaxing after a full day of walking the city. We had a wonderful time. The only downside was lack of ability to control the heat (older building).

  Comments: L'emplacement est très bien et Joe, non présent durant tout notre séjour, répond vite aux messages. Le logement est sale: filtre à eau du robinet dans une carafe moisi (nous nous en sommes rendu-compte après quelques jours et avons cessé d'avoir mal à la gorge après ça), des tonnes de poussière sous les meubles avec des objets qui traînaient (assiette,...), des tâches sur la couverture du canapé-lit où dormaient ma fille, beaucoup de poussière dans le meuble de la salle de bain. Un gros problème d'insonorisation, avec les enfants et le décalage horaire, ils se levaient tôt, marchaient pieds nus, mais on dérangeait une voisine (ce qui n'a pas plu à Joe puisque personne ne sait qu'il fait Airbnb), mais, nous aussi étions dérangé par les voisins du dessus, car nous nous couchions tôt, mais on ne s'en était pas plaint plus que ça, c'est normal de marcher dans son appartement après 19h30. À mon sens, appartement fonctionnel et bien situé, qui convient à 4 adultes sans enfants, pas trop regardant sur l'hygiène.

You cannot beat the location with a wide array of restaurant options within walking distance in addition to Broadway theatres , Times Square, Rockafellar and Central park.   Comments: Although we didn't get a chance to meet Joe in person (we were met by his friend Ivan, who was great), he was an extremely thoughtful host, in both senses of "thoughtful". Communication ahead of time and during the visit was great, and his apartment was exactly the kind of experience (and deal) you'd hope to have when visiting Manhattan -- incredible location near 50th and 9th, and a really nice, clean, comfortable, secure, well-appointed apartment. We stayed there with our two kids (though I wouldn't recommend it for kids who younger than late elementary school) and it would also be an excellent place for a couple doing a get-away to NYC -- something we hope to do there ourselves before too long.
