Neighborhood Overview: Greenwich is a hidden gem of Sydney. It's close to the city and even closer to the restaurant districts of Lane Cove and Crows Nest. Because it's a harbourside suburb, and this is Sydney, the terrain is hilly and quite steep in parts and the views are breathtaking. The suburb has wonderful urban, green, pretension-free, harbourside vibe. It's a great place for hiking. If golf's your thing, there's a public golf course just up the road. An absolute must see is the iconic Greenwich baths, one of the few remaining Sydney Harbour public swimming baths. It you love to work your muscles, there are many parks with outdoor training facilities (the best is at the bottom of my garden), tennis courts for hire, an aquatic centre in Lane Cove, all this with great transport links to the CBD for the business traveller. What's not to like? There's a reason that most who move to Greenwich tend to trade up and stay in the vicinity rather than moves to other parts of Sydney.

Notes: SECURITY - HOUSE ALARM AND VIDEO/AUDIO SURVEILLANCE Alarm: The interior of the property is fitted with a back to base monitored alarm system. Instructions for the operation of this system are included in both the House Manual and the Arrival Directions. It is extremely simple. Please note that this system does not capture or record any visual or audio information, it simply detects motion. Exterior Surveillance: There are 3 cameras covering the exterior of the property and 1 within the non-guest area of the property which record video and audio and store and upload to the cloud in real time. Note that tampering or removing these cameras will not prevent the information already recorded from being transmitted and stored. The actual location of all exterior cameras will be shown to you at check-in. There is no surveillance inside the listing nor in the backyard/pool area. Transit: We have a stop for a bus travelling to the centre of Sydney at the front of the house, buses which travel up and down the nearby Pacific Highway on their way to the Sydney centre, airport, north west, northern beaches and eastern suburbs, two train stations and two ferry wharves with services to the city and Parramatta to choose from. With so much choice it gets confusing, so I advise guests to download any of the many local public transport apps to use during their stay. Our house is one of only five in Greenwich that has direct access to the Sydney Harbour foreshore and is also on the main bus route (Route 261) to the centre of Sydney. The bus stop is 60m away and the bus travels to the very centre of Sydney's CBD. We are within walking distance of St Leonards and Wollstonecraft train stations.
