  Comments: Claude's place has an excellent location. You're within walking distance (15-20 min) to Waikiki beach, which is great as you can leave your car rental at the place. The parking spot was great too- never having to worry about finding parking is a luxury. The place itself was a good size for 2- would be really tight for 4. The bed was fairly comfortable, decor was warming and tasteful, and the kitchen amenities are minimal but you can definitely prep meals and cook. There is oil, pepper, salt -- nice not having to purchase those types of things. There were also 2 beach towels which is amazing. Claude was a really good host - there were admittedly a few minor hiccups in our first couple nights, but Claude was very quick to respond (literally within an hour) and on top of it! I would recommend staying at his place if visiting Oahu, it's a great spot to make trips out to various beaches along the coast and offers a comfortable and safe stay!

  Comments: Good stay in July 2017. It's more like a 30-40 minute walk to Waikiki - the good part of the beach and strip. 20 min walk to the sheltered baby area. Amenities like shampoo/conditioner amd dish soap were good, but missing things like kleenex and laundry soap. I feel laundry soap shoukd be provided especially wheb only one kitchen cloth was provided and we stayed for 7 days. At checkin we didn't know where to park the car. The checkin instructions just had entry instructions and wifi pass. Literally nothing else, so our 11pm checkin wasn't awesome. Had to wake up the Host. I wouldn't reccomend this place for more than 2 people. It's too small for more. Perfect for 2 though. The bathroom door is more like like a closet door, it's a sliding for with not much noise protection. May bother some shy people. Also a very tiny bathroom so if you're a heavy person you'll have trouble getting in and it of shower and up off the toilet. Air conditioning was good. Two units. However it's useless when cooking. the oven/stove throws so much heat it's instantly 90 degrees in the living room. But we enjoyed our stay overall and I'd recommend staying here.

  Comments: My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this spot. It was a perfect place for just the 2 of us. Clause was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Parking was a plus because we had the whole driveway to ourselves. Claude provided everything you would need for a getaway like towels, beach towels, hair dryer, iron, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We didn't plan on cooking at our Airbnb but there were a handful of popular local restaurants that were walking distance like Side Street Inn and Uncle Bo's which was a plus and also Waikiki was less than a 5 minute drive. The place was also very clean and furniture was up to date. The A/C definitely came in handy and I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a place near Waikiki.

The parking spot right outsude of the place and the washer dryer behind the unit made our experience even more delightful. You can't beat the location of this property, only 10 mins walk to Waikiki beach and right in the vicinity of great food scene, yet calm and secluded. Claude was curtious and responsive. Property was better than described.

  Comments: This is a quaint, clean, easily-accessed hideaway well worth it's price. It is close to the freeway entrances for driving purposes and yet offers full amenities for walkers too, including the ocean, the zoo, the natatorium, the Ala Wai, and ample eateries.   Comments: Claude's home was very simple and cozy. It was just the right amount of space for my boyfriend and I and provided all the necessities we needed and for such a great value also! It was also very central between a lot of beaches and spots we wanted to check out and a lot of food spots as well. If you're looking for a simple little place to relax in this is the perfect spot.

  Comments: Staying here made our stay! First off, check in was a breeze ! My boyfriend and I walked into a super cute, very clean and pristine little place with the ac already on and blasting for us ! I previously lived on the the island close to Claude's residence and I can tell you that it is top of the line ! Guaranteed you will not find anything better for the price, cleanliness, amenities and location. Yes, the bathroom is a little small but it gets the job done. You shouldn't come all the way to Hawaii to hangout in a bathroom anyways. Now if you rented a car you have a prime parking spot (AMEN) which saves you not only a headache but money as well (parking in Waikiki can be stressful and expensive). Parking is key people !!!! The residence is tucked away towards the back of he units, we didn't run into any of our neighbors nor did we hear them either. You have a great kitchen with plenty of utensils but I would check in first and then hit the Safeway that is conveniently located down the street (in case you need something not provided). The TV with the Roku was a super nice extra to have. After being in the sun all day, put your feet up, blast that AC and turn on the Hulu and you're in for a relaxing evening. Unless, you were looking to take a short walk to Waikiki to hit the restaurants and bars (which is also what we did frequently). Coffee was provided but there is a Starbucks around the corner too if you want that instead ! Also, provided for us was detergent for the washer and dryer. Such a nice touch we felt so spoiled. I thanked Claude after check in and reached out to him at check out and always got a quick response. There were zero issues to report to him so we didn't get to chat as much but really isn't that a good thing while your on vacay? A nice, reliable place to stay? I'm gonna be sad if I forget anything but this is already long enough! Claude thank you again! This is our new go to spot to stay on the island, we appreciated our stay and host so much !

  Comments: This was a small place but in an excellent location to get to Waikiki Beach and all the things to do in Honolulu. We used the bus and walked so did not need a car. Also tours will pick you up at nearby hotels or at the beach. It was clean and Claude responded immediately to our few requests.

  Comments: This home away from home was the right size for my small family and the few days we were there. The house is all the way to the end of the second building. It’s very private and very quiet. The house was very clean and it’s so bright and airy. There were more than enough towels provided as well as blankets. If you do have a car try to park as close as you can to the wood fence, so you don’t block the way of the other tenants. We were walking distance from the beach and the zoo. There is also the famous rainbow diner just down the street. It’s true that location is key. This was an amazing home to stay in and wouldn’t mind staying here again.

  Comments: We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so nice and breezy and cool that we didn't even have to use our a.c. it was so nice to have a parking stall and a kitchen. The bed sheets and pillows were super soft and the bed was comfy. The only complaint was that the couch bed was super hard ( maybe could use a topper?) But other than that, this place is ideal!

  Comments: The apartment was cozy and lovely on the inside. It was not a looker from the outside, however. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy and I was surprised to see two homeless people sleeping on the street quite near to the unit. Claude was very communicative and responsive. He was a great host. The lock box made our arrival and departure very easy.

Overall we enjoyed our stayed here and it was our first time doing air BnB. Highly recommend.

  Comments: With a young infant and preschooler in tow, this place worked perfectly for our little family! Super accessible to the bus line and a reasonable walk to the beach/Waikiki. We also rented a car for several days and appreciated the parking space. The kitchen was conveniently stocked. The close proximity to Rainbow Drive-In (with Shimazu shave ice around the corner) and Leonard’s were a nice treat! Be careful not to overload the washer and dryer- even after varying our laundry load several times, the washer would rumble against the wall during the final spin cycle, and we resorted to hang drying even after a small load being put in the dryer for over an hour. Claude was super responsive with all questions and requests. If you are laidback travelers, we would definitely recommend his place!

  Comments: A great base of operations for a truly special visit to Oahu. Clean, secure, great natural light, with a parking spot! (A great boon if you plan on renting a car and visiting other parts of the island). Located away from the craze of Waikiki but still a 15-minute walk to the beach. I really enjoyed the location which was close to great food (Tonkatsu Tamafuji [1.5 blocks - best Katsu], Sunrise [2 Blocks - great miso and udon], Hawaii Sushi [15 minute walk & affordable], Sweet E [Amazing breakfast - 5 minute drive], Nanding's Bakery [1.5 blocks]), a market for provisions, and accessible to the highway for easy access to Oahu. Craterhead Hike is close and gives great views of Honolulu and the rest of the island. We really enjoyed taking day trips around the island and coming back for great food and leisurely strolls to the beach.

  Comments: I stayed 4 nights at Claude's place. It is cozy and has all the amenities one would need, especially parking!! You can easily walk to Waikiki, about 20 mins, drive 5-10 mins, or Uber. The neighborhood is quiet and is a great location to explore the island, close to the freeway, close to Waikiki, close to Diamond Head. You can also walk to some nice local restaurants: Sunrise (Okinawan), Rainbow Drive In, Tonkatsu Tamafuji (Pork Katsu), Tokkuri Tei (Sushi & Tapas), Da Cove Health Food, the list goes on. This is fantastic little place in a fantastic location. Claude is a great host and was super quick responding to my questions, Mahalo Claude!

But we might care more about that than others because we were working from home for the week. The bathroom was small, but you can see that in the pictures. The AC was good. The location is as advertised—you can walk to Waikiki. The host was also responsive. I imagine this AirBnB is good option in its price range.

  Comments: Claude was very accommodating and communicative. Place was as advertised. Only snafu was parking. We parked in the most inner spot as directed but one morning as we were heading out we found another car was blocking us in the drive way. Had to wake up the neighbors to find out who the owner was and ask them to move the vehicle. Hair dryer also blows the fuse in the bedroom, but other than that, no issues. I left a cable at the house after check out and Claude was super helpful in helping me get it back.

  Comments: We stayed at Claude’s place for 8 fun days. Place was very small but cozy. Perfect for a couple or if you have small children. We had an almost 2 yr old with us and she had enough space for herself to run around. Bathroom was smaller than I expected and the shower was even smaller than that lol. But nevertheless for how close we were to everything it’s a great value. Reminded me of a the show tiny home. There was a parking slot right in the driveway in front of the place but it was sort of annoying cause someone was always “visiting” people in the front units that a car was always there. They had no issues moving at all every time but when you have a toddler asleep and just wanna get them inside it gets tedious after the first couple of times. Very basic inside no table to sit and eat at but we didn’t mind as we didn’t eat much there anyway. We did have an issue with some people next door they came in yelling and loud around 11:30 pm I messaged Claude that night and woke up to him letting me know it was taken care of and apologized which was great. Don’t know if I could’ve dealt with them for multiple days next door. Overall I’d def stay here again, the value is there for how close you are to everything around town

  Comments: 最悪 二度と借りません! 予約をして…説明文､写真が来ましたが… 道路入り口のﾍﾟｲﾝﾄは茶色 実際は 青でした｡ その為 かなりの時間迷いました｡ 専用ｹﾞｰﾄに続く庭は いつも誰かが入られた形跡が有り大変怖かった｡ 毎日 椅子やﾃｰﾌﾞﾙが移動し､ｹﾞｰﾄも開いていて 芝が刈られた時も有りました｡ 専用の駐車場は 毎日 色々な方､また後ﾎｽﾄの方だと思いますが自身でﾘﾌｫｰﾑして毎日駐車場を占領されて気分悪かった｡ あのｱﾊﾟｰﾄは ﾎｽﾄさんのｱﾊﾟｰﾄだと思いますが 他の人が断りもなく使われていたのも理解出来ません｡ 恐らくﾎｽﾄの方も見て見ぬふり｡ 朝夜関係無くﾘﾌｫｰﾑしていましたので 騒音も出てました｡ また､ﾊﾞｽﾙｰﾑと記載有りましたので借りましたが ｸﾘｰﾆﾝｸﾞしていない狭くて汚いｼｬﾜｰﾙｰﾑだったので驚きました｡ 身体を拭いていると 洗面台に身体が当たり 毎日青ﾀﾝ出来ました｡ また､ﾊﾞｽﾏｯﾄ､ﾊﾞｽﾀｵﾙもﾌｪｰｽﾀｵﾙも 雑巾の様な色合いに変色した穴空きでしたので 驚きでした｡ 匂いも 古びた匂いで 気持ち悪かった｡ ｼｰﾂ､枕ｶﾊﾞｰも年配者の頭皮の匂いがしていました｡ ﾃﾚﾋﾞもｽｲｯﾁを押しても観れず ﾎｽﾄにﾒｯｾｰｼﾞを入れましたが ﾏｲｺｰﾄﾞが無いと観れ無い｡との返答が来ました｡ おかしな話です｡ 普通電源を押せばTVは見れますが ﾎｽﾄにﾒｯｾｰｼﾞを入れても 見れる様にはしてくれずｺｰﾄﾞﾅﾝﾊﾞｰは 教えられないし ﾅﾝﾊﾞｰを持っていないのか?とも言われてしまいました｡ 20回ﾊﾜｲに来てますが TVを観れ無いのは始めてでした｡ ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞも 有りません｡ 柔らかいﾏｯﾄﾚｽが三段になっていただけで 腰痛になり 1番下のﾏｯﾄﾚｽは汚れ防止か ﾋﾞﾆｰﾙにおおわれて蒸れてﾀﾞﾆが発生しているのか寝ていて痒みが出て また､柔らかいﾏｯﾄﾚｽの重ねが原因で痛み止めを飲み湿布をしての滞在で帰国してから病院に通っています｡ Wi-Fiも充電するｹｰﾌﾞﾙもどこに有るのか結局教えてもらえず探すのに3日かかりました｡ 仕方ないのでTVに繋がってますｹｰﾌﾞﾙを抜いて使いました｡ それも教えてもらえませんでした｡ 24時間乾燥機が部屋の裏で回っていて 大変煩く 寝室の窓ｶﾞﾗｽも一枚無く 毎晩寝る際は紙のｶｰﾃﾝが風で煩かった(><)｡ ｱﾊﾟｰﾄの住人の深夜2時の大喧嘩や 喋り声に ﾘﾌｫｰﾑの騒音も 夜まで有りました｡ 記載事項と違い過ぎます｡ ｷｯﾁﾝには 油､塩ｺｼｮｳが有ると事前に記載事項を読みましたが… 全部有りません｡ 換気扇も無いなら記載するべきです｡ ﾊﾞｰﾍﾞｷｭｰ出来る様な記載が有りましたが…ﾊﾞｰﾍﾞｷｭｰ用の器具も無かったです｡ 切れない包丁に 汚いｵｰﾌﾞﾝ 茶渋の付いた ｶｯﾌﾟ ･ｺﾞﾐ捨て場の説明も無く ･洗濯機の説明も場所も記載無く 全てにおいて 部屋には記載事項がｾﾞﾛでした｡ こんなのは 日本でも海外でも始めてです｡ 記載事項嘘ばかり｡ これなら 他のﾎｽﾄの部屋をかりるべきでした｡ ｼｮｯｸばかりです｡ こちらのﾎｽﾄは 沢山似た様な部屋を貸している様です｡ (似た様な 部屋で こちらのﾎｽﾄの名前が有りましたから) 良いｺﾒﾝﾄが沢山有りましたので 借りましたが…私は今後絶対借りたく無いです｡ 部屋もﾎｽﾄの態度も意地悪で 横柄で 二度と借りません! 最悪な日々でした｡ 皆さん慎重に｡

  Comments: The apartment looks better on the fotos. Then in reality. Walking distance to the closest beach is more than 15 minutes. One window could not be entirely closed in the sleeping room. We had strong wind during our stay and the shades bang against the windows so that we had to leave them up, with day light coming in from early in the morning.
