  Comments: I have no words to describe how well my stay was at Gerards. Was my first experience staying somewhere through airbnb and im glad i made the right choice to stay there. Very discreet nobody bothers you. Gerard and his roommate Taras were very helpful with everything i need,far far beyond tips about the city like the most do. The room is exactly like on the picture. The location is very good and centric. Thank you for all, will definitively come again!

  Comments: It was my first experience with airbnb and I could not find anything better than Gerard. The room is big, sunny and like in the pictures; the apartment very clean, very central, equipped with every facility you may need, near to the metro stop to reach every place in bcn in a few of minutes. But above all Gerard and his housemate Taras are wonderful. They made us feel like at home! They are very kind and helped us a lot, giving us suggestions and advices to make our staying in bcn simply perfect! We checked in as customers and host and we checked out as friends. Definitely I would recommend everyone to stay at Gerard's. Thank you very much!

  Comments: It was our couple's first experience with airbnb and Gerard and Taras especially made our stay in Barcellona feel great. The room was big, lots of light and same as in the pictures; the apartment was clean, pretty central location (15min walk from placa Catalunya), equipped with every facility you may need, near to the metro stop which we ddn't even use during our 3-day stay. The listing description was very accurate and communication with hosts almost in real time. The neighborhood was calm/safe also given the fact that the stay was in the beginning of sept. The hosts made our stay feel comfortable, providing all ammenities of the apartment to our complete use (two bathrooms, kitchen, wifi, fridge etc). The housemate Taras wes great. He made us feel like at a friend's house, very kind and helped us a lot, giving us all suggestions and advices needed to make our stay in Barcellona nice! Definitely I would recommend everyone to stay here. Thanks and hope to meet you again in the future!

  Comments: Tolle Unterkunft. Wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Sehr nette Mitbewohner. Toll war, das es 2 Toiletten gab, so kam man sich nie in die Quere!Auch die Lage war gut. Mit der Metro ist man in 5 Minuten am Plaza Catalunya. Zu Fuß sind es etwa 20 Minuten. Direkt um die Ecke gibt es ein super indisches Restaurant;) (tandoor) Uns hat es sehr gut bei Helmut und Gerard gefallen und wir würden bei unserem nächsten BarcelonaTrip wieder hier wohnen!;) Danke für die nette Unterkunft!

  Comments: We had an awesome stay at Gerards apartment. The room looks exactly like in the pictures and the flat is totally clean and well equipped. The apartment is located near a metro station, so you can reach everything in Barcelona really easily. Gerard is a wonderful and professional host who always provides help when you need it.   Comments: We did not meet Gerard but did meet his two associates. Gerard was vacationing when we were in barcelona. There were several challenges but Gerard was very professional about finding us a new place and making it a good stay. For this, we had good feelings and great appreciation. In the end, the new location, while not the sunny, large room was close to the places where two separate friends were staying/living! Again, really appreciated his efforts while he was trying to have a vacation.

  Comments: Я очень рада, что имела возможность жить в этой комнате. Мне очень понравилось гостеприимство Жерара и его соседей. Хозяин очень доброжелательный и вежливый. Комната находится в удобном районе города. До ближайшего метро Рокфорт 5 минут ходьбы. До станции, с которой отправляются электрички в аэропорт 15 минут. Все достопримечательности находятся очень близко. Рядом много ресторанов, кафе, супермаркет. В то же время, в этом районе не так шумно, как возле Рамбла. Комната выглядит точно так, как на фото. Очень чисто в комнате, в кухне, в санузлах. В свой следующий визит в Барселону я опять выберу эту комнату.

  Comments: Gerard made us both feel very welcome to his home in Barcelona. He was very warm and friendly and was able to assist with any queries we had about this beautiful city. Very clean and bright room. We had some issues with the lock to our room which were sorted by Gerard straight away. Would definitely stay here again when travelling back to a Barcelona

  Comments: Gerard nos recibió cordialmente. Alquilamos la habitación que esta en la foto, con el ropero y la cubrecama de colores. Es espaciosa, da a la calle y esta ventilada y todo muy limpio la casa esta muy bien equipada, tiene lavaropa automáticos y seca ropa. la cocina esta muy bien equipada también y muy buenos baños. Había más gente que había alquilado habitaciones pero todo bien. Prácticamente coincidimos muy poco en los horarios con lo anfitriones. Pero todo bien. El barrio es tranquilo, se puede caminar de noche sin problemas y hay panaderias, verdulerías, bares y supermercados. Esta a pocas cuadras de la estación Sants y de la parada del Bus City Tour y del metro en Rocafort y la Gran Vía. Para llegar a la rambla hay que caminar unos 25 a 30 minutos

  Comments: L'appartamento è pulito, ordinato e corrisponde alla descrizione, la camera è piena di luce, il bagno condiviso non è stato un problema perché l'appartamento è dotato di due bagni e gli ospiti effettuano orari diversi. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza anche perché questo appartamento è davvero centrale, collocato in quartiere tranquillo e silenzioso, a 5 minuti dalla stazione della metropolitana... questo ci ha permesso di visitare tutto senza difficoltà. Gerard è molto gentile e riservato, pronto a collaborare quando viene richiesto. Torneremo e consiglieremo sicuramente questo appartamento ai nostri a mici.

  Comments: Wir hatten im Mai für drei Übernachtungen den big & sunny double bedroom gebucht. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und hell und für 2 Personen gut geeigenet. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und es gibt ein Bad mit WC und ein separates WC was gut ist, wenn die Wohnung voll belegt ist. Gerard ist ein sehr netter und professioneller Gastgeber. Er gibt den Gästen gute Tips. Die Wohnung liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet. Einkaufen und Essen gehen kann man gut um die Ecke. Die Arena de Barcelona ist nicht weit. Ich würde das Zimmer jederzeit wieder nehmen.

  Comments: Our stay was amazing in this room! It was the last minute decision the host responded in less than an hour and next day we had moved in. The room is exactly like on the picture.   Comments: Unser Aufenthalt in Barcelona war sehr schön und gelungen. Die Wohnung liegt in einem schönen Stadtviertel mit vielen kleinen Bars und Cafés in denen man in Kontakt mit Einheimischen kommt (etwas abseits der Touristenmeile ;) , Metro in nächster Nähe. Das Zimmer ist (wie auf den Bildern abgebildet) sehr hell und groß. Wir konnten die Küche und Bad sehr flexibel mitbenützen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerard war uns ein guter Gastgeber und steht mit hilfreichen Tipps und Infos jederzeit zur Verfügung. Absolut herausragend war die schnelle und unkomplizierte Kommunikation! Danke und gerne wieder!

  Comments: Overall we had a great stay in the apartment. The room looks just like the picture and the host (which is not Helmut) was very nice and friendly, though it is a bit annoying you have to communicate with multiple people. The apartment is very close the a metro station and it is easy to get to the airport. Some nights were a bit cold as only a thin blanket was provided and the wifi unfortunately didn't reach the room, so you had to stand in the kitchen. A small coffee machine was set up which was very nice. There is a decent amount of traffic in the neighborhood. The noise was noticeable but not a problem inside the room.

  Comments: Große, moderne, helle Unterkunft in zentraler Lage mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. WLAN funktioniert nur in der Küche, die man nicht benutzen darf. Frühstück ist lediglich eine Kaffeemaschine. Den Kühlschrank darf man mitbenutzen, da "further cooking" aber nicht gewünscht ist, wird die Zubereitung von irgendwas schon schwierig. Die Bäder stehen zur gemeinsamen Nutzung zur Verfügung, lief aber immer problemlos ab. Leider waren die Böden nur oberflächlich sauber, ansonsten ist die Wohnung sauber. Ein Mülleimer und ein Spiegel im eigenen Zimmer wären schön.

  Comments: Overall the flat was clean and located in a nice area. Close to the metro and train station. Our main concern regarding the stay was the misguiding description. The ad said there was a kitchen but there was only a coffee maker and a fridge and no sink to clean the coffee cups except the bathroom. Also, we had to pay a higher late check in fee than the ad stated. The wifi was terrible and barely worked. Communication with the host and co-host worked perfectly, they answered quickly and met us at the time we had agreed on.

  Comments: Our stay was just okay. I would only recommend this place if you want a room to crash and nothing more. The host is not rude, but they are neither warm nor welcoming. We had one very short and curt introductory conversation with Gerard right as we arrived and that was it. Never saw or heard from him again. This was disappointing for us as we had specifically chosen this location because of reviews saying otherwise. The wifi does not work at all in the room. If you want any internet you need to go to the kitchen. The room can get really HOT, so this was an issue for us as we had some very high temperatures during our stay. There were a few people I interacted with. Helmut was not actually our host and it was Gerard who stays in the apartment. I had been asked to contact someone called Abdul before my arrival, which I did, but I never saw this person. It was confusing who to reach out to in case we had questions as we didn't have Gerard's contact and he did not respond to our knocks on his door.

  Comments: Very stylish apartment. Possibility to make coffee with nespresso machine. The room was very clean. Check in was on time. Host was very friendly and kind. Fast wifi which now reaches the room also (if you read previous reviews then it wasnt). But now wifi is perfect. Clean towels and sheets. Worth the price! Makes you feel like local!

  Comments: Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und wirklich schön und individuell eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer, sowie unser Schlafzimmer waren sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung ist super, mit drei Ubahnen und viele Busstationen in Fußreichweite. Gerard spricht perfekt Deutsch und hat uns somit die Kommunikation erleichtert. Der kleine Hund Bob ist nicht nur außerordentlich niedlich, sondern auch friedlich. Bei Fragen stand uns Gerard stets zur Verfügung. Unsere Privatsphäre wurde geachtet. Unser erste Aufenthalt in Barcelona war uns eine Freude.
