  Comments: Minha estadia no apartamento do Sergio foi excelente. Ele é um anfitrião extremamente atencioso e gentil, nos deixou muito à vontade e confortáveis. As fotos mostram exatamente como é o ambiente, muito limpo, organizado e agradabilíssimo. Certamente recomendo como opção de estadia. O prédio é seguro, muito bem localizado.

  Comments: Como fue la estadía en la casa de Sergio?....fantástica!!! No pudo ser mejor!. Su casa es hermosa, muy cómoda, con una excelente ubicación. Pero mas allá de todo eso, Sergio es una muy linda persona, súper agradable, con quien da ganas de compartir momentos. Llegamos a su casa por una relación contractual (el alquiler de un cuarto en su casa) y nos fuimos sintiendo que estuvimos en la casa de un familiar, de un amigo. Gracias Sergio por hacernos sentir así! La verdad no lo esperábamos y nos sorprendió gratamente. Decir que fue un excelente anfitrión es poco. Siempre pendiente de nosotros, desde antes de nuestra llegada, durante nuestra estadía y al finalizar la misma. Aconsejándonos que medio de trasporte utilizar, que ir a conocer, etc. Con Sonia, mi novia, volvimos contentos, no solo porque estuvimos en Río, ciudad maravillosa, sino también porque tuvimos la suerte de conocer a una muy buena persona, ahora un amigo y nos sentimos tan a gusto, que a la hora de partir, nos despedimos como tales, que se conocen desde hace tiempo, esperando a que Sergio en algún momento nos visite en nuestro país, en nuestra casa. De nuevo, gracias por todo Sergio!!!

  Comments: The studio of Sergio was just fantastic! It was spacious, cozy and nicely decorated. Besides the bedroom with terrace, there were small salon, private bath room and kitchen. The building is located near Copacabana posto 5 which is very close to Ipanema (only 10minutes of walking distance). The access to metro station is only 3minutes walk and to Copacabana beach is 5 minutes walk. The street of Sa Ferreira is beautiful with greens and it is a safe area. Sergio is very friendly, warm and he takes care of the guest as much as he can. He always prepares nice flowers, delicious fruits and some drinks for the guest. I enjoyed my stay in this lovely studio and I can not wait to go back.

  Comments: Fiquei muito feliz com a escolha, tanto do apartamento, que correspondeu ao nosso desejo, quanto do nosso anfitrião, que soube compartilhar mais que sua moradia, como também seu tempo, sua atenção, sua generosidade e acima disto, sua experiência.   Comments: Estar alojados en el departamento de Sergio fue una experiencia increíble. En primer lugar, la ubicación es perfecta, a 5 minutos de la playa Copacabana, a 10 de la playa de Ipanema y a media cuadra de la estación del Metro General Osorio. En segundo lugar, el departamento cuenta con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia tranquila, confortable y ademas de un gran espacio. En tercer lugar y mas importante, la atención de Sergio fue extraordinaria, desde antes que hiciéramos la reserva nos aclaraba todas nuestras dudas e incluso nos daba datos del lugar donde íbamos a estar una semana antes (Buzios). En el departamento nos hizo sentir como estar en un hotel con todas las comodidades que eso conlleva; siempre nos mantuvo frutas, agua, toallas a nuestra disposición todos los días y ademas nos ayudaba con las indicaciones y mapas para llegar a los distintos lugares turísticos de la ciudad. Una vez mas le agradecemos a Sergio por su disposición, ayuda y preocupación por hacer nuestras vacaciones las mejores.

  Comments: My husband and I stayed at Sergio's and it was a very pleasant experience! The studio is well situated in Copacabana and of easy access to metro, buses, beach, shops and church. The area is beautiful and safe. The studio is well-designed and equipped. You actually have a whole appartment for a very reasonable price! Sergio is exceptional! He took care of all the details to satisfy our wishes, even before we expressed them. Every day he filled our fridge with goodies... even chocolate! On top of all that he gave us free access to his own kitchen. Sergio gave us very good advice and tips to make our first visit in the beautiful city successful. On weekend nights there is some rather loud noise coming from the street at the back of the building. This, however, as far as sleeping is concerned, can be easily neutralised with the humming ofthe bedroom air conditioner. We wholeheartedly recommend the place to everybody. Sergio is now our friend and his is the place for us in Rio! I almost forgot to mention that Sergio speaks also English and French. Fonso and Tami

  Comments: Oh my...what can I say about Sergio? Because It wasn't only a great apartment that made my boyfriend and I have a great time in Rio but Sergio as a host certainly made the difference. What a sweet, smart and friendly guy. Sergio is a retired doctor that opens his house for the pleasure and fun of having nice people around to share experiences. He's a very wise man and we felt like visiting family. Sergio' studio was just great! Very spacious, nicely decorated and cozy. A fantastic bedroom with terrace, a small salon with couch, dinning table, TV, private bathroom and kitchen. The whole studio is very bright and we heard birds singing every single day. The view to the Pavao Pavaozinho Favela is also very pretty and interesting specially If you have never had a contact or seen a Favela before. During the night with all the lights is just gorgeous. The studio was always tidy and clean. Bed sheets and towels were often changed by his staff. Sergio always put some nice and fresh fruits on the table, some goodies in the fridge, chocolates, the cabinets have more than just necessary things. Everything we needed for coffee and thee and even some cookies we found there as a courtesy, just for Sergio's pleasure of making our stay the best experience possible. We stayed for 2 weeks and he helped us from our laundry till the best tips on where to eat or have fun for a good price. The building is very well located near Posto 5 in Copacabana and Its a short walking distance to Ipanema (only 10 minutes).Taxi cabs are very cheap as well compared to European cabs so we easily took a cab at the building's entrance to Gavea, Lagoa, Favala do Vidigal for 10-20 reais only (5 euros). The access to metro station is even a better and a cheap way to go places, only 3 minutes walk from the building, tickets cost 3,60 reais (1,20 euros) per trip and we visited Botafogo, Flamengo, Lapa, City Center and Maracana Stadium taking the metro. Much easier, faster and cheaper. We took buses as well to a few places such as Barra da Tijuca, Sugar Loaf and city center and It's only 3 reais (1euro) per trip. Public transportation in Rio is extremely cheap and take you everywhere. Copacabana beach is 5 minutes walk. Sa Ferreira street is beautiful with lots of green and it is a safe area. Sergio is extremelly friendly, warm and he really puts some effort to take care of the guests as much as he can. He was always there for a nice conversation but at the same time respecting our privacy. There were always a nice flower in the bedroom, delicious fruits and some drinks. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely and cute studio a lot and we just can't wait to go back to see Sergio again and have a great time in Rio!

  Comments: Sergio is the perfect host for his guests: very friendly and hospitable. He even got us fruit and breakfast as if his place were a hotel. He was always in for a talk, while giving us our privacy as well. I arrived early in the morning, nevertheless he offered me another room to rest a bit before "my" room was available. Sergio goes out of his way to make his guests feel comfortable. The apartment is very clean and located near copacabana beach. Ipanema beach is a bit farther, but also within walking distance. There are several nice places to eat within walking distance as well. The room is spacious and clean with a fan and ac. The private bathroom is opposite to the room. I would definitely recommend this place.

  Comments: El habernos hospedado en la casa de Sergio fue la mejor experiencia que pudimos tener en Rio, en su casa NO sentíamos estar en otro país, era como estar en nuestra propia casa. Sergio nos trató como si fuéramos sus hijos, siempre atento y bien predispuesto, disfrutando de su compañía con largas charlas. El Studio es muy lindo, luminoso, limpio y cómodo. Se encuentra en una zona privilegiada y estratégica desde donde se puede ir a cualquier lugar sin problemas. Sin dudas volveremos a Rio y elegiremos este lugar. Gracias Sergio por tanto afecto.

  Comments: A hospedagem foi maravilhosa. Ficamos confortavelmente instalados. O jardim de inverno dá um charme todo especial para o ambiente.   Comments: We had a fantastic stay at Sergio's appartment! Everything was very convenient and well organized, the appartment is also very clean. The location in Rio is just perfect, 100m away from the metro, 2 min by foot from Copacabana beach and 5 min from Ipanema beach! You also have everything you need near the appartment as supermarkets, restaurants, money change... Sergio gives you also very good advice and is very helpful. He also speaks english and french. It is like having your own appartment as it is upstairs and you can enjoy the sun while having breakfast or any meal! We can only recommand and if we have to comeback in Rio we now know where to stay!

  Comments: Sergio es un excelente host, siempre estuvo  atento y pendiente de que estuviera cómodo. Me esperó  con agua, frutas y ricos chocolates en la mesa de luz :). Me dio algunas recomendaciones muy valiosas. Tuvo gestos que lo hacen único, hasta me ayudó cuando tuve inconvenientes con mi tarjeta. GRACIAS! El depto estaba en perfecto estado de limpieza y orden, cerca de la playa copacabana y a media cuadra del metro. En fin si tengo que ponerle un puntaje a mi experiencia, le doy un 10 y espero volver pronto. Sergio is an excellent host, i highly recommend him to everybody in the airbnb community. He made the difference for better, as person and for some details, water, fruits, chocolate and yogurts waiting for me. The apt is great, clean and have everything you need to enjoy it, just as the photos and better. Location: perfect,  the beach is around 3 blocks from the apt and the Subway station Osorio at the corner. Experience with Sergio 10!! Thank for everything.

  Comments: Sergio es una persona muy servicial y amigable, la suite ala que llegamos estaba muy bien situada, cómoda y limpia. Sergio nos ayudó a comprar unos tickets, nos dió información turística e incluso tuvo el detalle de tenerle leche de chocolate a mi hijo que le encanta. Teníamos siempre fruta fresca y pasamos unos días muy agradables en su casa que es muy acogedora.

Respecto al Studio es muy amplio y bonito, el baño y las habitaciones siempre muy limpias y con frutas frescas a disposición. Lo más especial fue nuestro anfitrión Sergio.   Comments: Out stay at Sergio's studio was absolutely amazing! I've stayed in few AirBnBs now and this place is amongst the best! Sergio is a trustworthy and very caring man who will not only give you some pointers but also can help you with what you want to do while in Rio. He appreciates conversations and is always willing to talk, in Portuguese, English, or even French. The place is awesome as well, you pretty much get a whole floor to yourself with bathroom, outside balcony, kitchenette, and living room. The view of the favela from the living room is beautiful especially at night. Location is perfect! Literally 1 min walk to the metro station, two blocks from Copacabana beach and just a few minutes to Ipanema. Close to banks, grocery stores, drug stores, and bus stops. We were careful but felt very safe coming home late at night. The service is also great! He welcomed us with fruits (which he kept refilling), snacks, coffee, etc. His nephew helps with cleaning up and even accompanies you to go out to Lapa if you want (we recommend at least for your first time to Lapa). I highly recommend this place and the host, Sergio.

  Comments: If you are planning a trip to Rio for the first, second, or third time, you want to book Sergio's place. You literally get an entire floor up top to yourself. Sergio lives in what is likely the penthouse suite. It has a beautiful indoor, outdoor space all connected. On a warm night, just leave the doors and windows all open for a cool breeze. Convenience is key when traveling and it was so convenient and SAFE to stay at Sergio's home that I couldn't have picked and lucked out on a better place. Sergio is so kind and sweet and speaks enough English to help you find some things you need and are looking for. 1 block from the Metro 2 blocks from the beach 1 block from a grocery store 1 block from restaurants, pharmacies, and pretty much anything you need! Look no further!!

  Comments: Je suis resté dans l'appartement de Sergio trois jours. Son appartement est magnifique et très bien situé. La chambre se situe à l'étage avec un salon et une sdb, du coup c'est presque comme un appartement privé. Sergio a été très attentif pendant toute la durée du séjour, me donnant constamment des conseils sur où aller, où manger, etc. A recommander, surtout si vous avez besoin d'idées pour sortir à Rio!

  Comments: Local perfeito para quem procura segurança e facilidades em acessibilidade. Estação de metrô junto estação de bicicletas ( bikes) do Itaú, a qual usamos bastante fazendo em dois dias uma média de 35 km, conhecendo Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Jardim Botânico e Parque Lage! A vizinha é bem tranquila . Por perto tudo que precisa: supermercado, " Pão de Açúcar" , farmácias, lojas, petshop, lanchonetes, padarias . O Sérgio é bastante atencioso. Ele se preocupa em indicar bons lugares para conhecer e comer bem. Pessoa tranquila e educada. A única coisa que estranhei, não me lembro se consta no anúncio, é que o acesso ao Studio não ter entrada privativa. Isto é; a entrada acontece pelo apartamento através de uma escada para o andar superior, uma cobertura. No demais só maravilha. Obrigada Sérgio pelas frutas e mimos deixados na despensa. -------- Perfect for those seeking safety and accessibility facilities in place. Metro station with bicycles (bikes) Itaú, which we use quite doing two days in an average of 35 km, knowing Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Botanical Garden and Parque Lage season! The neighbor is very quiet. Nearby everything you need: supermarket, pharmacies, shops, petshop, cafeterias, bakeries. Sergio is very attentive. He cares to indicate good places to meet and eat well. Quiet and polite person. The only thing I found odd, I can not remember if stated in the ad, is that access to the Studio does not have private entrance. This is; input happens through the apartment via a staircase to the upper floor, a cover. In the only remaining wonder. Thanks Sergio for fruits and treats left in the pantry.

  Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Sergio. He is a fantastic host. We obtained clear information before and during our stay on where to go, what to see...the appartment was perfectly located in the Quite neighbourhood of ipanema and not far from copacabana. At 2 steps from the Subway and very close to the beach.we had a terrace which was ideal for a breakfast in the sun. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. We definetely recommend the place! Thanks a lot Sergio for making our stay in rio enjoyable!

  Comments: We had a great time in Brazil made even better by our stay with Sergio. From our day of arrival until the day we left, he made us feel welcome and at home. He was willing to help out with so many stressful things from lost luggage to needing to stay an extra night. I would absolutely recommend staying with Sergio to anyone who is planning a trip to Rio.   Comments: O melhor anfitrião que poderíamos ter encontrado na cidade Maravilhosa, seus cuidados ja se iniciaram antes mesmo de termos chegado ao Rio, sempre preocupado e atencioso, nos indicou o melhor caminho para chegarmos la, já que estávamos indo de carro, ao chegar fomos recebidos com os mimos do Sergio, frutas frescas, chocolatinho e rosas em nosso quarto, o apartamento e maravilhoso, bem espaçoso, super limpo, internet ótima, vários canais a cabo, localização perfeita, metro do lado, estação de bicicletas também, a duas quadras da praia de Copacabana, e muito próximo da praia de Ipanema, apesar de termos ido de carro, não usamos ele praticamente pra nada. Sem falar de todas as ótimas dicas do Sergio, visitamos lugares especiais que nem imaginávamos que iríamos conhecer no Rio de Janeiro, passamos uma semana nos sentindo praticamente em nossa casa, adoramos cada minuto que passamos la e saímos com a certeza que fizemos a melhor escolha ao ficar na casa do Sergio, pois com certeza retornaremos em breve!!!

  Comments: This is a beautiful airbnb home. My partner and I stayed with Sergio for four nights and we had the best time possible. Sergio does everything possible to make one feel at home and spoils his guests a lot. He was very informative and helped us getting to and around in Rio. He had very good advise on where to eat, what to do and how to make the most of our time in Rio. The studio itself is a little paradise in the heart of busy Copacabana. It is located around five minutes walk from Copacabana beach and ten minutes to Ipanema. There are lots of shops, restaurants, juice bars around - you will find everything you need within just a couple of minutes. The studio itself is spacious and simply stunning. There is a terrace attached to it and the bedroom has aircon and a private bathroom. It is very clean, safe and homy. Sergio spoiled us by providing fresh fruit, yoghurt and coffee each day and he gave us chocolate treats each night too - pure bliss. There is no better place I could imagine to stay at in Rio and if we come back (which we will for sure) we will definitely stay with Sergio again. Don't look any further if you are planning to visit Rio and its stunning beaches!

Siempre tuvo muy buena predisposición para ofrecer su ayuda en cuanto a lo que necesitáramos, consejos sobre lugares para visitar, medios de transporte, horarios, etc. El departamento está muy bien ubicado, cerca del metro, a pocas cuadras de la playa de Copabana y muy cerca de Ipanema. Nos sorprendió que fuese un lugar muy amplio y cómodo.   Comments: Nos quedamos en casa de Sergio cinco noches y la pasamos súper bien. Muy bien ubicada, muy segura la zona, a apenas dos cuadras de la playa de Copacabana. Todo era como decía en el anuncio, el departamento muy amplio, con cocina, patio, habitación, baño y un living comedor con tele. Sergio como anfitrión es muy, muy amable, siempre nos dio muy buenos consejos de qué ver y qué hacer y cómo llegar, y nos ayudó mucho en planear y organizar los pocos días que tuvimos en Río. Cuando llegamos nos esperaron un plato de frutas, yogur, café, chocolates, ... La verdad que no podía ser mejor y cuando vuelva a Río me quedaría otra vez en su casa. Muchas gracias, Sergio!

  Comments: Lorsqu'on réserve une chambre, un appartement sur internet dans une ville qu'on ne connait pas, malgré les photos, on a parfois du mal à imaginer l'environnement. Dans le cas du studio de Sergio, nous avons constaté sur place qu'il était très bien situé, à proximité immédiate du métro, des rues commerçantes mais dans une rue tranquille, à 5 minutes de la plage de Copacabana et à 10 minutes de celle d'Ipanema. Le studio lui-même était exactement conforme aux photos, très bien aménagé, clair, fonctionnel, très propre. L'accès au studio se fait par l'accès principal de l'appartement de Sergio, ce qui ne nous a pas gênés, les espaces étant bien séparés, en l'occurrence il s'agit d'un duplex. J'ai apprécié avant même l'arrivée à Rio, de pouvoir échanger avec Sergio et qu'il réponde rapidement. Il a gentiment accepté de nous recevoir avant l'heure d'arrivée habituelle compte tenu de notre vol d'arrivée très matinal. Durant tout notre séjour, il a été d'une aide précieuse pour nous conseiller sur les visites, sur les modes de transport, pour réserver et imprimer les billets pour accéder au Christo de Corcovado, réserver le taxi, ou encore faire une lessive. Sergio est un hôte discret mais charmant, s'intéressant le matin à ce que nous allions faire et le soir de ce que nous avons fait. Nous avons eu la belle surprise de découvrir tous les jours à notre table des délicieux fruits frais (mangues, bananes, papayes). C'est un excellent hôte et une excellente adresse!

  Comments: Ficamos muito satisfeitas com a hospedagem proporcionada pelo Sérgio em sua residência. O apartamento localizado em andar superior ao do proprietário tem um espaço excelente com quarto, sala, cozinha, banheiro e varanda aberta. Fica como destaque a limpeza do ambiente que pareceu uma preocupação permanente do anfitrião. A localização é excelente, ficando próximo das principais praias da Zona Sul, com metrô e táxi muito próximos. Além disso, possui uma estação de bicicletas para locação na mesma rua. O destaque fica para o anfitrião, uma pessoa muito simpática e muito disposto a orientar-nos na visita à cidade maravilhosa. Voltaremos com certeza!

The accommodation is excellent value for money - although listed as a private room it is effectively a private apartment accessed by staircase via the host's home. Clean, bright and spacious with kitchen and outside terrace it is exactly as the photos if not better. Refreshments, coffee and fruits were provided as were fresh towels and good bed linen. Situated minutes from Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Osario metro (2 mins walk) provides access to the rest of the city. Comfortable and welcoming, we would not hesitate to recommend.

  Comments: Sergio was a gracious host. From the minute we booked the reservation, he responded promptly and accepted our request. He provided very detailed information and directions to his apartment in Copacabana. We found the apartment without any problem. Upon arrival, he accommodated us with an early check in. He stocked the fridge with beer, soda, water and several fresh fruits and snacks. He placed chocolates near our bed! I cannot say enough about how kind and considerate he is. He thought of everything. He even gave us a farewell gift! The location is very centrally located. The metro is only a block away with quick access to other parts of the city. The metro is really the way to go to venture to different neighborhoods in Rio and is very safe and efficient to use. You will save a ton of money on cab fare! If you feel like walking, Copacabana beach is about 3 blocks away and Ipanema is about 8-10 minutes walk. There are fabulous restaurants within walking distance from his apartment. It is also located near a grocery store if you need to get some provisions. The room feels like its own apartment. You enter the apartment through a common area, but you have the upstairs all to your self. There is a living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and terrace all just for you! It is very relaxing just to sit on the rooftop and drink a beer or glass of wine. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and air conditioner just in case it gets too warm. The apartment is extremely clean. The neighborhood is lively. Music can heard until the early morning sometimes and there is a lot of construction going on in Rio at this time. That can be a drawback if you are looking for peace and quiet. After all, this is a very bustling city! Sergio called us a cab to the airport which was much cheaper than what we would have paid if we called one ourselves. Sergio, thank you so much for a memorable stay in Rio. Thank you for all the helpful information you provided. We were able to navigate the city quite well with your help. I hope we meet again someday.   Comments: I enjoyed the time in Rio Sergio's apartment has two levels and I stayed at the 1 bedroom studio on the top floor. The location is great, the metro station is close by and there are many buses that will take you to the best attractions that Rio has to offer. You can hear the music from the local bar in the evening so if you are a light sleeper it may bother you. having said that, it's Rio and it's part of the experience. Sergio provided insightful recommendations which made my visit quite enjoyable.

  Comments: Sergio was an incredible host to my parents; they could not have had a better experience with him! He was extremely gracious, kind and generous. He had fruit laying out for them every day, my Mum got a bit of a flu and since Sergio is a doctor he made her soup and gave her medicine to cure her. The apartment was lovely, they had the privacy they wanted but if they needed to ask Sergio anything he was always on hand to help. Als we iets wilden weten of nodig hadden was dat nooit enig probleem en daarbij gaf Sergio ons goede tips over allerlei dingen (restaurantjes, vervoer etc.) Het appartement was heel fijn en ruim, licht, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, zelfs met een kleine binnentuin en een prachtig uitzicht op de favela erachter wat zorgt voor veel sfeer. De buurt was super, op nog geen 10 minuten lopen van Copacabana en Ipanema strand. Wij zouden dit appartement iedereen aanraden voor een verblijf in Rio!

  Comments: Schon vor der Reise war der Informationsfluss sehr gut, Sergio hat uns ausreichend informiert, besonders darüber, wie man vom Flughafen zur Wohnung kommt. Nach unserem Eintreffen waren wir sehr überrascht, wie gut wir umsorgt wurden - so gab es zum Beispiel jeden Tag frisches Obst, Kekse, Müsliriegel am Tisch, auch im Kühlschrank war schon einiges für uns vorhanden.   Comments: Sergio had gone above and beyond the care I have ever received from an Airbnb host and not only has a lovely home, but a kind personality that made it easy to be comfortable getting tips and help from him about seeing Rio. The studio was even better than expected as Sergio provided little touches such as fresh fruits, drinks and chocolates along with a view of Favela Cantagalo that I found be unique and interesting. Nice people watching to see both locals and tourist walking or riding up the hill. Otherwise, apartment's location is great to connect with all of Rio with the metro stop and being between Copa and Ipanema. You get the benefits of a private area with the comfort of daily cleaning and Sergio to ask questions. Sergio is happy to give tips about the neighborhoods and you will leave wishing you only had more time! He was helpful from beginning till the end as he let us arrive early and stay late to accommodate our flight times and helped arrange for a taxi upon our departure. I would gladly return!

  Comments: We had an amazing time in Rio and Sergio's flat was great. Very clean, spacious and in a great location. It is near the metro station and walking distance to Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon beaches. Sergio gave us some very good suggestions on what to do in Rio, and left fresh fruit for us every day. It can get noisy in the evening due to the bars around, but we had ear plugs and it was not a problem for us. In the morning you wake up to the sound of birds ;)

  Comments: Sergio was a great host during a New Years stay at Copacabana. The studio apartment was exactly as described and quite spacious and the air conditioning is excellent (great after those long days at the beach). The location is very close to Copacabana beach, and several great restaurants are nearby. But Sergio himself is the best part of staying here. He was very nice and informative, and even went out to buy us a cooler to take to the beach for NYE. He is fluent in 5 languages, so it was very easy to converse with him. Sergio even allowed us to stay an extra day when our flight got moved back for a nominal fee. If your staying in the Copa area definitely consider staying here!

  Comments: Sergio es un gran anfitrión. Es muy cordial y con la gran ventaja, para un hispanoparlante, de que habla un español fluido. Nos explicó cómo llegar hasta el estudio y estuvo presente para recibirnos. Siempre estaba ahí para aconsejarnos sobre lugares de interés y modos de acceso. Con respecto al alojamiento, el estudio es tal como lo muestran las fotos. Estaba muy limpio y bien iluminado, y cuando llegamos y en el tiempo que permanecimos en el lugar, Sergio se acupaba de mantenerlo así. Está bien ubicado, a media cuadra de la estación de subte, que te comunica muy rápidamente con todos los puntos de interés de Río, y a pocas cuadras de las playas de Copacabana e Ipanema. La zona es linda y más o menos tranquila, y con amplia oferta grastronómica y de bares.

  Comments: A casa de Sergio é incrível! A localização é muito boa, em frente à estação de metro e a duas quadras da praia de Copacabana. O ponto de onibus também está em frente de sua casa, por isso não há problemas em se locomover para qualquer ponto turistico do Rio . O quarto é muito bom, com uma cozinha, um banheiro e sala de estar apenas para si mesmo - tenho certeza que é o melhor que você pode encontrar no Airbnb. Da janela voce tem uma vista magnifica da favela, que é pacificada e sem nenhum problema. O Sergio tambem é o melhor anfitriao que ja conheci. Ele é gentil , paciente, atento e irá ajudá-lo com tudo.   Comments: O imóvel é exatamente como está na descrição e nas fotos. Vai ser difícil alguém encontrar um anfitrião melhor que o Sérgio neste site. Sérgio dá dicas do que fazer na cidade e faz o hóspede parecer que está na própria casa. O apartamento é exatamente bem localizado, a poucos passos da estação de metrô, menos de cinco minutos da praia de Copacabana e a uma caminhada curta de Ipanema. A vista também é incrível. Todos os dias, Sérgio deixou iogurte, refrigerante, cerveja e água no nosso frigobar como cortesia, além de frutas e biscoito. Os cômodos são extremamente limpos e arejados. Sérgio também nos ajudou em relação aos táxis. Todas as vezes que eu voltar ao Rio de Janeiro, pretendo ficar na casa do Sérgio. Recomendo 100%.

Gdy przyjechaliśmy ugościł nas świeżymi owocami. W lodówce były zimne soki, woda i piwo. Oprócz tego różnego rodzaju ciastka. I tak było każdego dnia ! Wynajmowany apartament położony jest w strzeżonym bloku bardzo blisko metra i blisko zarówno do Copacabana jak i Ipanema. Bardzo blisko są bary z jedzeniem i sokami oraz sklep spożywczy.   Comments: My other half and I stayed at Sergio's for 5 nights during the Olympics and had a fantastic time. Sergio could not be more helpful and friendly. He was very welcoming and was always there to give us recommendations on things to do, how to get to places, etc. Sergio was very well prepared with all the Olympics materials and we also got a present from him on arrival - an Olympics magnet :). He left us some Brazilian beers and drinks in the fridge and selection of fruit was often refreshed by him. One Sunday we were at the apartment and Sergio invited us to join him and his family for Sunday lunch, which was very nice of him. The apartment is spacious and clean and it is very well located. General Osorio metro station is at the end of the street only couple of minutes walk away. The beaches of Copacaban and Ipanema is also only a short walk away. We highly recommend Sergio's apartment and we'll definitely stay there if we visit Rio again. A big thank you to you Sergio for letting us stay with you!

  Comments: Came to Rio for the Olympics not knowing what to expect or how to navigate the city. Sergio came through like a blessing. Immediately he made me and my parents feel at home. He provided medicine for me because he heard me coughing in my sleep (this medicine is another blessing, btw. I must buy some!). Sergio kept our studio clean and stocked with light refreshments and beverages. He even had a welcome souvenir for me upon my arrival. His knowledge of Rio is extensive and he was instrumental in us finding great places to eat, and fully understanding the easiest ways to navigate to and from our venues and excursions. Sergio even stayed up until 2 am with us to ensure we had a taxi ready for pickup. Wow. I cannot speak highly enough of Sergio's hospitality to my family. When I come back to Rio, I know where I'm staying!!! God Bless!

The second part of our stay was even better than the first one as we came back to Sergio's feeling that we were friends. His flat is centrally and conveniently located in Copacabana on the border of Ipanema with most things within walking distance and easy access to public transport. Sergio was a generous and thoughtful host, providing good advice on things to do and how, keeping me stocked up on water and fruits, allowing me to check in early on my day of arrival and even arranging laundry. La chambre se compose du deuxième étage du duplex, ce qui donne donc l'impression d'un appartement individuel. La petite terrasse compte des espèces de fleurs et de fruits brésiliens. D'une grande justesse, Sergio nous a accueilli d'une façon très efficace et amicale.   Comments: Fue una estadía increíble, queda a más o menos 3 cuadras del sector 5 de copacabana, hay locales comerciales, supermercados, farmacias, tiendas de souvenir a 2 cuadras. se ven policías muy cerca. al llegar a la casa Sergio muy amablemente nos tenía fruta, bebidas, cervezas, agua mineral, shampoo y bálsamo, toallas y sábanas limpias. siempre preocupado de nuestra seguridad, podiamos compartir la cocina y preparar nuestros propios alimentos. absolutamente recomendable y si vuelvo por tercera vez a río no dudare en volver al Studio de Sergio. muy agradecida

  Comments: Alojarnos en casa de Sergio fue la mejor decisión que pudimos tomar para nuestra estancia de diez días en Río de Janeiro. El espacio, la segunda planta de un dúplex (Sergio vive en la primera), es amplio y confortable. Un pequeño apartamento con mucha privacidad, muy luminoso, con una kitchenete y hasta con una terraza interior con plantas. Diría que es mejor de lo que parece en el anuncio. Y si el espacio es bueno, el tratamiento amistosísimo y más allá de la debida amabilidad con que Sergio nos obsequió fue inmejorable. Nos sentimos en todo momento libres, como en nuestra propia casa y tratados como familia. Además, las atenciones de Sergio fueron constantes. Los pequeños detalles que nos ofrecía diariamente nos parecían un lujo tan lejos de casa. Sergio, además, fue en todo momento el mejor guía que podríamos haber encontrado. Sus consejos sobre las visitas turísticas de diversa índole fueron de grandísima utilidad durante nuestra estancia. The location is very close to metro station, and is in the heart of Copacabana, five minutes walk from the beach. We felt really privately in our room.   Comments: Sergio loue le premier étage de son appartement, et vit au rez-de-chaussée. Il était donc toujours disponible pour donner des conseils ou nous aider à nous orienter. L'appartement est très bien situé, entre Copacabana et Ipanema, à 10 minutes à pied de la plage. L'immeuble est très sécurisé (un gardien est présent 7/7jours, 24/24h). De plus, Sergio est d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Mon amie et moi avons séjourné chez lui 10 jours. En plus des fruits et biscuits qu'il nous offrait presque quotidiennement, une personne est venue régulièrement faire le ménage et nous donner des serviettes propres. Encore mieux qu'à l'hôtel ! Je recommande l'appartement de Sergio à 100 %.

We loved the kind and (typical Brazilian) warm hospitality, which made our one-week stay even more enjoyable. We had the upper floor to ourselves, including kitchen and a cute little outside area.   Comments: Don sergio es una gran persona, con una disponibilidad de oro para orientarte, darte ayuda con paseos, averiguar por pasajes por si tienes que moverte a otro lado, etc. De detalles pequeños como tenernos fruta, algo para tomar y una bolsa para la playa. Sin duda 100% recomendable. La ubicación es perfecta, estas al lado de la playa, un sector tranquilo, departamento amplio y rico para pasar los días de la mejor manera. Muchas gracias Sergio por todo!
