  Comments: Wunderschöner Ausblick auf Porto, zu Fuß ist man in 5 Minuten über die Brücke nach Porto gelaufen. Die Wohnung war ganz frisch renoviert, alles sah exakt aus wie au den Bildern. Die nettesten Gastgeber, die man sich vorstellen kann: Dingos Eltern haben uns vor dem haus empfangen und sind an dem Tag sogar noch zweimal losgefahren, um eine Babybadewanne und einen Hochstuhl zu kaufen - obwohl wir gar nicht danach gefragt hatten. Wir können jedem nur empfehlen, hier zu übernachten!

  Comments: Diogo nous a TRÈS bien accueillis. Son appartement est d'une exceptionnelle propreté. A notre goût très bien décoré, pourvu de tout ce dont a pu avoir besoin. Toutes les photos affichées sont l'exacte reflet de l'appartement. La vue est à couper le souffle. L'accueil avec son ''petit'' cadeau de bienvenue nous a fait super plaisir. Je le recommande et si je reviens sur Porto c'est celui-ci que je veux.

  Comments: We had a lovely time at Diogo's apartment. The apartment is just as the pics posted. Great views of the riviera. The wine cellars were a 2 minute walk. The Ribiera was a 5 min walk away. Diogo was an excellent host. He and his dad helped with getting our bags to the apartment (it's on the 3rd floor). They had a baby chair, tub and crib ready for my little one. Thanks for all the help Diogo!

La casa está totalmente acondicionada, recién reformada, bien situada, con unas vistas espectaculares, muy cuidada y con detalles que hacen muy agradable la estancia. Las imágenes que se muestran del apartamento corresponde con la realidad. Nos sorprendió positivamente que hubieran dos baños completos. Diogo, es una persona muy atenta, responde con agilidad y en todo momento nos facilitó la gestión tanto en la llegada como en la salida. Si volviéramos a Oporto, sin duda, contactaríamos con Diogo.

  Comments: The best experience we've ever had with airbnb. Diogo and his father are really welcoming and great hosts. The flat is way more better than it appears on the pictures. Modern, spacious, fully equipped, with breathtaking view over Porto and Douro. On arrival we got a bottle of porto and pasteis as a welcome gift.   Comments: Logement super bien situé à Vila Nova de Gaia, à quelques minutes à pied seulement du centre de Porto (quel plaisir de traverser ce beau pont tous les matins et tous les soirs!), et bénéficiant ainsi des plus belles vues qui soient sur la ville de Porto. La vue depuis les chambres est simplement.... sensationnelle!! Très propre et très fonctionnel, vraiment idéal pour les familles (nous y étions avec 2 enfants de 7 et 8 ans, avec leur chambre, et surtout chacun leur lit), avec qui plus est avec 2 toilettes et 2 salles de douche. Attention toutefois au fait que la rue sur laquelle donnent les chambres est un peu passante (voitures). Accueil très apprécié avec bouteille de Porto et pasteis de nata.. encore un énorme merci! Un adresse que je conseille vraiment sans aucune hésitation!

  Comments: Diogo's place is stylish and cozy and it has absolutely amazing view on the river and Porto. There are many restaurants and wineyards in a walking distance, but far enough so that the flat does not suffer from the nightlife sounds ;) Two separate bathrooms are very convenient for four people. In addition, Diogo is a super helpful and friendly host.

  Comments: The apartment is displayed very accurately in the pictures. The location is excellent and is walking distance to most things you would want to see in downtown Porto. In addition, there is a great riverfront path that allows you to go on great runs, The views are amazing. The accommodations are very comfortable and Diogo and his family are outstanding hosts. The only negative of the apartment is that the two bedrooms face a busy street that gets loud. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

  Comments: We loved the place very much. The scenic view from the bedrooms over Porto and the bridge are breathtaking. The free parking was important to us. The Air Conditioner helps if you prefer to sleep with windows closed. I am a light sleeper in need the silence of closed windows. Diogo and the rest of family members who welcomed us are very friendly, helpful and patient. The wine cellars are next street. The bridge to cross to Porto downtown is 3 minutes away. we feel lucky to choose this house and benefit all the advantages.

  Comments: Mooi appartement met alle voorzieningen. Prachtig uitzicht op Porto en alles is op loopafstand. Hele fijne gastheer( vader van Diogo). Hij stond ons op te wachten en konden onze auto gratis parkeren om de hoek. Toen we weggingen stond hij bij de parkeerplaats ons op te wachten om afscheid te nemen. Geweldige man.

  Comments: L'appartement du 3ème étage est impeccable et très bien équipé: wifi cafetière Dolce Gusto , tout est fourni, la literie est de qualité. La vue est incroyable. Et en plus une place de parking comprise dans le prix . Diogo et José sont des hôtes très disponibles, ils répondent très vite à nos questions par sms où mail. Un regret , notre séjour était trop court.

  Comments: Diogo's apartment is great with stunning view at the city of Porto and the river Douro. The reception (arranged by his father) was great and easy. If you come by car parking was free and nearby and 24hrs accesible. Supermarket for groceries etc. 15 min walking or 5 min by car. Anything you wish during a stay was there and the apartment was very clean. I can recommend this apartment to anyone who wish to stay nearby the citycentre with great views over the city of Porto.

  Comments: WOW! Si vous louez cet appartement, vous tomberez dans la catégorie des gens chanceux. La première chose que vous réaliserez c'est que c'est très facile de se stationner dans le stationnement privé qui se situe à quelques pas. Par la suite cest l'incroyable vue sur Porto; définitivement la plus belle vue de tout notre voyage au Portugal. Ensuite, vous rencontrerez le charmant José : super sympathique! Par la suite, en montant à l'appartement vous réaliserez que ce que vous aviez vu sur les photos est exact : impeccable, bien équipé (vaisselle, ustensile, laveuse, 2 salles de bain avec savon et shampoing dans la douche, etc.) grand, et vue extraordinaire par les fenêtres des chambres. Une petite surprise vous attendra. 10 minutes à pieds et vous êtes l'autre côté du pont, à Porto même. N'attendez surtout pas avant de louer! Si je retourne à Porto, je retournerai au Magic Escape 3 sans aucun doute. Plaira même aux plus difficiles! <3

  Comments: We stayed here for 8 nights and were very pleased indeed with our choice. In fact the experience could not have been better. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It must have one of the best views in the whole of the city, looking across the river to the old part of Porto. Jose gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful throughout the stay. If you are thinking of booking definitely do it, you won't be disappointed!! It's just a 5 minute walk (uphill) to the very convenient light rail (one stop into town), or a short walk across the bridge, a wonderful experience in itself.

  Comments: Our stay at Diogo’s place was the best of many during our two weeks in Portugal. The host was able to arrange for an extra parking spot which was a huge benefit for our group travelling in two vehicles. We were greeted at the door and shown to the nearby car park where the host proceeded to help us with our bags up to the third floor apartment. Entrance to the building and room are through a custom code so no worry about keys. We were also treated to a bottle of port and Portuguese tarts upon our arrival. The apartment was perfect. They thought of everything and it was all brand new and sparkling clean. The two bathrooms were a huge plus for our large group. The only thing better was the view of Porto from the bedroom windows and the street below. When we next visit Porto we will definitely try to stay here again!

Só seria melhor se a máquina de lavar roupas fosse também secadora. Não é recomendado para pessoas com dificuldade de mobilidade, pois são 47 degraus a subir. A vista é de tirar o fôlego e o José muito gentil. Recomendamos demais!

  Comments: Centraal gelegen appartement met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Aan een doorgaande weg gelegen waardoor je op de slaapkamers geluidsoverlast van verkeer hebt. Warm ontvangst met port en iets lekkers! Voor tips van omgeving en goede restaurants moet je zelf de uitgedeelde stadskaart en eventueel tripadvisor raadplegen.

  Comments: My wife and I travelled to Porto with our 11 month old. We were very happy with Diogo and Jose's apartment. Jose greeted us at the front of the building and helped us move into the apartment. He was incredibly friendly and helpful offering us directions and recommendations for restaurants and all the essentials in the neighborhood. The apartment is a short walk over the bridge into Porto and the views of the river and city are spectacular. It was everything we could have asked for and would highly recommend it to anyone, as well as those traveling with a young one.

The apartment itself is spacious and well equipped for longer stays. Ideal for two couples, with 2 separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sofabed in the living room if you want to fit another couple in. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival. Good linen and comfortable beds. The location is ideal for exploring Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia on foot, and there are shops, bars, restaurants and Port tours nearby.

  Comments: This was our first trip to Porto and probably the nicest Airbnb stay we have ever had. The apartment was even more beautiful than the pictures. This was a last minute (the night before) reservation and Diogo was fast and accurate with all communications. We actually have never stayed at an Airbnb with a designation of "SuperHost." We were spoiled and may never book another without the SuperHost label! We were greeted by the ever smiling Jose when we exited our taxi at the front door. He helped us up to our amazing apartment and showed us around the place. Everything from furnishings to the artwork on the walls was perfect. The apartment is modern and has all the amenities you would ever need for a 3 day weekend stay or longer! The view, the view, the view! We sat on the balcony with the plate of Pastel de Nata and a bottle of Port, both graciously left as a welcome gift on the dining room table for us. We ate the pasties and drank the wine while soaking in the amazing view! The entire weekend was amazing! Thank you Diogo and Jose for your hospitality and offering such a beautiful apartment to us!   Comments: Super netter Vermieter; hat uns sehr viele gute Tipps gegeben für Essen, Besichtigungen, Benutzung öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel, ... und auch dafür gesorgt, dass wir unsere Flugtickets ausgedruckt bekamen. Als wir nach einer Kaffeemaschine gefragt haben außer der Pad-Maschine war 10 Minuten später eine Kaffeemaschine da.

  Comments: This spot is 5* and more and Diogo and Jose were amazing hosts! The pictures don’t do justice to how fantastic it is! It is large and very very clean with special touches throughout the apartment. From the pasteis de nata and port wine to welcome us to the clothes pins to a rack to hang dry your clothes on the hosts have thought of every detail. The place was large and spacious for our family and the kids loved it! The view is again way way better than the pictures show and it’s location on this side of the river with steps down to the waterfront and port caves is just perfect.   Comments: Wir hatten ein Apartment zur Straße raus. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr geräumig, die Innenausstattung der Wohnung sehr modern. Küche mit Kühlschrank und Herdplatte ist bei Bedarf vorhanden; nur Gewürze, Öl oder ähnliches fehlte. Großer Pluspunkt ist die zentrale Lage (vielleicht 200 Meter zur Ponte Dom Luis). Man ist mittendrin, ohne direkt im touristischeren Getümmel zu sein. Der Blick von den Balkonen aus (wir hatten die Wohnung in der obersten Etage) ist schlicht atemberaubend. Besser geht es wohl nicht. Vis-a-vis führt eine Treppe zu einschlägigen Kaffees und Restaurants. Ein Supermarkt ist leider nicht direkt um die Ecke. Ebenfalls hervorzuheben ist der kostenlose Parkplatz in einer ansonsten von Parkplätzen nicht gesegneten Gegend. Der Parkplatz ist direkt sehr nah an der Wohnung und wir bewacht. Jose war ein wirklich großartiger Gastgeber, der uns mit unserem Gepäck half und uns sogar ein paar Besichtigungs- und Restauranttipps gab. Kleine Kritikpunkte (die wirklich haarspalterisch sind): Die Zimmer ermöglichen einen fantastischen Blick auf Porto, sind allerdings auch sehr laut. Die Straße vor der Wohnung ist der einzige Anfahrtswerk zur Brücke. Da die Scheiben/Wände eher schlecht isoliert sind, ist der Lkw- und Motorradlärm durchgängig wahrnehmbar. Wer diesbezüglich empfindlich ist, könnte ggf. Probleme bekommen. Die vorliegenden Kissen sind etwas hart und eher für Rückenschläfer geeignet.   Comments: The location of this apartment is quite ideal. It has a brilliant view of town and it is just minutes away from everything. The only downside that you may find is that if you are easily woken up at night, the road can be a bit noisy (not a problem for me, fortunately). If you’re going by car, you are able to park at the car park just a couple of minutes away (host gives you a card to have free access). There is no parking outside the property, so you won’t be able to unload there. One little thing that happened to us on last day was that the power went, but it was a matter of host pressing a button to have it working again. A lovely pastel de nata and Porto wine was waiting for us as a nice welcome gesture. Overall, very pleasant and highly recommended.

  Comments: The location and the view of the apartment are perfect. You can reach the old town in a few minutes and nearby there is a charming small, typically Portuguese supermarket and all the famous Port wine cellars. We enyojed every moment.

  Comments: First of all, we have the "million dollar" Porto view from the balcony off the bedroom. We travel with kids and everyone has a wonderful time. House is VRRY homey, CLEAN and comfortable. Host has amazing amenities including coffee, iron, hanging racks for laundry etc. Jose was very nice and kind to help with car park, luggages and recommendations. Our best AirBNB so far. The only regret is we wish we could have stay longer. Absolutely 5 star host! It will be memory of a lifetime! Thank you for everything, Jose!

  Comments: Appartement avec une vue magnifique. Un vrai plaisir. Le centre historique de Porto est à une dizaine de minutes à pied, en traversant le pont Luis 1er. Les caves de Porto sont juste en dessous. Un emplacement exceptionnel. L'appartement en lui même est très grand, très propre, idéal pour 4 personnes, avec deux salles de bain/WC. Il est parfaitement agencé et organisé avec tous les produits nécessaires. Le parking gratuit est à proximité. Bref, pas loin d'un sans faute :-) Juste un tout petit bémol : malgré les fenêtres fermées (possible grâce à la climatisation), la rue se laisse encore entendre un peu. Mais c'est un appartement à recommander chaudement. Si l'occasion se présente, nous y reviendrons sans aucune hésitation. Merci pour tout.

  Comments: Wow. What a beautiful and well located apartment. It is located close to many restaurants and only a short walk across the bridge to the old town and many attractions. Views from the balcony overlooking the Douro River are great, and the balcony at the rear provides a little serenity after a busy day. We would be very happy to stay in Diogos apartment again.

  Comments: The house was fantastic! Beautiful views of Porto. Excellent location to all activities. Jose was extremely welcoming and provided information about the area. Be prepared to walk three flights of stairs. Jose helped with our bags. We were running late checking out due to delays with the rental car office and Jose was extremely understanding about our delay.

  Comments: Nous sommes une famille avec 2 enfants dont 1 bébé et nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Diogo. L'accueil de notre hôte et le stationnement inclus furent grandement appréciés. L'appartement est beau, propre et très bien équipé pour une famille. Il est parfaitement situé à Vila Nova de Gaïa, proche du parc Jardim do Morro, des caves de Porto et de nombreux restaurants. Le point fort de l'appartement est la vue magnifique du balcon sur le Douro, Porto, le pont Dom-Luis et les couchers de soleil!! Par contre les chambres sont situées du côté d'une rue passante et c'est bruyant le soir et la nuit, mais ça ne nous a pas trop incommodé! Je recommande fortement cet appartement pour découvrir Porto!

  Comments: This is a perfect apartment. Nice view on balcony, nice room with large space and two bathrooms, nice hosts with good service. The apartment is very very clean. The host also serve us a bottle of wine and egg tarts, those are delicious. Besides, he told us so many useful information about sightseeing. And the location is good for going many places by walk. I will live again next time. We had a good time in Porto.

  Comments: Diogo’s place is great super clean with modern amenities. The location is within walking or public trans to all the attractions. Super convenient to port caves. Diogo carried my luggage upstairs and greeted us with a bottle of port and a map of Porto. He showed us where everything we needed was on the map! He’s not just a super host he’s a super duper host!

  Comments: Local limpo , sossegado , amplo e com comodidades , tem um cantinho ao lado para tomar seu café da manhã . Vista espetacular do centro velho e do rio pela janela e sacada do apartamento. Preço justo com estacionamento ( incluído ) fechado e seguro disponibilizado nas proximidades ( item raríssimo na cidade) . A poucos minutos a pé dos melhores e badalados produtores de Vinho do Porto ( degustação , tour e compras) e ótimos restaurantes (chiques e tb os mais simples) , teleférico e porto do lado de Gaia. Eu não precisei usar o carro em nenhum momento , preferi pagar 3 a 4 euros para ir ao centro de Uber ( no centro quando você acha estacionamento ,é muito caro) , ou ir ao centro a pé curtindo o trajeto , que é uma atração à parte. Resumindo , é o melhor cantinho para curtir a cidade.

  Comments: 포르투 여행에서 가장 완벽한곳. 지금까지 경험한 비앤비 호스트중 가장 친절했습니다. 창가에서 보이는 풍경은 어느 곳보다 멋진 풍경입니다. 다만 같은 건물이 아닌곳에 주차장이 제공되지만 가깝고 쾌적합니다. 3층에서 지냈는데 엘레베이터가 없어 짐을 옮기는게 조금 어려웠지만 호스트 Jose가 함께 도와주었습니다. 두번째 포르투 방문이었고 세번째 방문하게되면 꼭 다시 가고 싶은 숙소입니다.
