Our apartment is a 10 min walk to the 2/3 trains and the c train.

Space: The sunny and quiet private apartment w/ private entrance comes with a queen-sized bed and the couch is a day bed so the apartment comfortably sleeps three adults. Please note, we do not have AC, though we have several fans and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. We also have cross-ventalation throught the entire apartment and being on the ground floor, things stay much cooler.

Neighborhood Overview: The block is super quiet and tree-lined with friendly neighbors. Local trivia-- our block's street and sidewalk was designed by I.M. Pei (the architect who designed, among many famous projects, the pyramid entrance outside the Louvre). Michael Jackson also filmed a scene from The Wiz on our street, too!

Notes: We have a dog (she will be with us and not at the apartment). We keep the apartment impeccably clean but if you have a severe dog allergy and can't be in an apartment that a dog lives in even when it is extremely clean this is something to be aware of. One of our reviews mentions that the heat was loud in the apartment. When these guests had come to stay here the boiler fan broke, causing the noise. It had never happened before, and it was promptly fixed. Our heat is completely quiet and keeps the place toasty warm in the winter time.

Transit: We are just a ten-minute walk to the 3 train, the C train, and many buses. We are a short ride to Prospect Park, DUMBO, Williamsburg and many other Brooklyn Destinations and are 35 minutes to most of lower Manhattan.

Access: Our backyard has a table and chairs, charcoal grill, and firepit with firewood. Our kitchen is fully equipped whether it be for making coffee/tea and breakfast or making a full-on feast. Our kitchen includes: magic bullet, cuisinart, cast iron skillets, espresso pot, tea kettle, an array of pots, pans and cooking utensils. We have a vacuum tube bluetooth stereo, wifi throughout the apartment, a work desk with printer/scanner.
