Space: Miles Away is a historic plantation era home built in the 1920's. The detached bath house was the original "furo" (Japanese bath) that the Japanese family who lived in this home built. There is a large swimming pool that all guests of the ranch can enjoy. The private pool at Miles Away is "dip in" pool.

The detached bath house was the original "furo" (Japanese bath) that the Japanese family who lived in this home built. There is a large swimming pool that all guests of the ranch can enjoy. The private pool at Miles Away is "dip in" pool. There is a garden you can use and a common pool you can use in addition to the dipping pool. There is also a trail that winds through the tall grass that is great for a jogging or walking. We are available to answer questions and help with the cottage if needed but we leave you alone to enjoy and relax at the ranch. We are always just a phone call away. Neighborhood Overview: Hawi town is a charming planation town with great shops, a fun coffee shop, restaurants, grocery store (Takata Market) There is a farmers market every Saturday morning right in town. Just 2 miles north of the ranch.

Notes: Please be aware we are in a tropical, rural, authentic location. There is no concrete here. The historic homes are post and pier so they sit directly above the ground/dirt. We take great care and have professional bug service but bugs are part of everyday life here. If you are afraid bugs, we are not a good fit for you. The cottages are always spotless for your arrival. The resorts are the only environment where you will see fewer bugs.

Transit: You need to rent car. You have parking just outside your door.

Access: There is a garden you can use and a common pool you can use in addition to the dipping pool. There is also a trail that winds through the tall grass that is great for a jogging or walking.

Interaction: We are available to answer questions and help with the cottage if needed but we leave you alone to enjoy and relax at the ranch. We are always just a phone call away.
