  Comments: First off, Jacque dispelled all of the negative things and nightmares we have heard about air bnb. The apartment was very modern and equipped with all the necessities a family of 2, 3, or 4 may need. It is located in one the most beautiful locations in Barcelona. Every morning we had the options of a cafe right downstairs or fresh fruits or an upscale supermarket 2 blocks away. Our son is very finicky with food so it was cool to have chicken wings and fries as an option at the corner (lol) You are in walking distance of all the local transportation (metro). Taxis are readily available right outside your door which are affordable when going to the city. My husband actually ran 3 miles to the beach took a swim and ran back, that's how convenient this location is. Just wanted to say very special thank you to Jacque For making our first time using air bnb a superb experience. You are what one dreams of when doing business from abroad or locally. You were consistent, punctual, caring, alert to our concerns and most importantly and this where most people doing business fail......you communicated consistently and made us feel like you genuinely cared about our well being. For that my my family and I thank you considerably. We look forward to contacting you in the near future for other trips abroad...btw we will be referring you as we have already begun to do to many of our close friends and associates. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  Comments: We had an amazing time in this lovely apt. Jacques was very nice and responsive at all times. The apt is quiet and in a nice neighbourhood - 15 min walk to the main city centre. Thank you for everything. Great apt in Barcelona - would consider to come back :)

  Comments: The place is very well located and was clean and perfect for our family with lots of closet space. Messages to Jacques were answered promptly. Also the cafe downstairs is amazing (and the hairdryer was really nice too).

  Comments: Overall great experience. The place was very clean, beds were comfortable, great location. Phone calls were always answered and they were helpful on the other line. The shower could use some work - difficult to keep from flooding the bathroom and occasionally we had unexpectedly cold showers. Safe box was broken but in all fairness we were too busy enjoying the awesome location to remember to ask for it to be fixed.

  Comments: The apartment's location was great. We were close to downtown and had easy access to public transportation and supermarkets. I requested some things for my toddler and Jacques provided them very fast. The size of the master bedroom was great. I would like to see more kitchen tools and a different shower, since it is impossible to adjust the water temperature. Overall our experience was very good and we will definitely consider this place for our next trip to Barcelona.

  Comments: Eva&Jacques (E&J) have a lovely modern apartment here and run a very professional AirBNB. we stayed for 5 nights and explored the city, and each night the apartment was our sanctuary to come home to. E&J are very responsive to any requests, and answered all of our questions very quickly through email or text. A few very minor things were highlighted and E&J sent maintenance people that day to sort it out. very impressive. Apartment is located in the Eixample District which is positioned between the hubub of the main town, and the Sants and Placa d'Espanya areas, so generally well located for all needs. It is ideal for families as it is a quiet area, although there can be some traffic noise as the apartment is on a busy road (but for children this is better than party people shouting and bottles smashing you would get in the centre of town, and the combination of very good double glazing and air-conditioning was not an issue at all). Our kids loved the offset bunkbeds, which meant bed time was a synch. The area seemed to be in the process of a regeneration, and we even noticed a BrewDog on the corner one block away which could be a good or bad sign! but in general a lovely friendly neighbourhood. The only minor negatives (as mentioned by others) the shower was rubbish and needs replacing, and the kitchen could do with a few more basic utensils. But to sum up. we are already planning our next trip to Barcelona, and we plan to stay with E&J. thank you Eva & Jacques for a great introduction to a lovely city.

  Comments: We had a lovely time, the air conditioning was fab (The fact it is in both bedrooms as well as the main room needs sharing). We struggled with working out how some things worked in the apartment. Some simple instructions would have been useful. The shower was great but I'm still not sure what all the knobs actually did. Also a mention that the coffee machine takes pods would have been helpful as we bought ground coffee and then have to buy a cafetiere. We had to ask a noisy group who were in the communal area outside to move inside as it was gone midnight but they quickly moved off, everyone we met was very friendly. We needed help with the fridge freezer which was not working and the response was excellent with a brand new one in place in less then 24 hours. All in we we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning again.

  Comments: Cafeteira Nespresso não funciona. Água não é muito quente e suficiente apenas para dois banhos seguidos. Toalhas muito pequenas. Travesseiros muito baixos e de má qualidade. Os proprietários foram muito atenciosos e resolveram todos os problemas que surgiram. O apartamento é muito bom e muito bem localizado.

  Comments: Die Unterkunft ist klein und gemütlich und genau so wie auf den Bildern. Die Lage ist super, die Shoppingmeile “La Rambla” is zu Fuss locker erreichbar. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es auch genügend Restaurants mit köstlichem Essen. Abschliessend kann ich nur sagen, dass ich die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen kann.

  Comments: Bardzo fajny apartament, przestronny i czysty. Świetna lokalizacja. Dobrze przemyślany układ pomieszczeń. Fajnie urządzony, na miejscu było wszystko czego było nam trzeba. Kontakt z właścicielami super, wszystko mogliśmy ustalić mailowo. Jedyne co było dla nas problematyczne to okresowe problemy z połączeniem z internetem. Ogólnie bardzo polecamy to miejsce! Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu!

  Comments: Muy buen alojamiento, es tal cual se lo ve en las fotos. Limpio, cómodo y con todos los amenities. Buena conexión de internet y buena calefacción. La atención fue excelente. Los únicos detalles a mejorar son los colchones (muy blandos) y la ducha (un poco complicada e incómoda; recomendamos usar el bañador movible como ducha). Pero volveríamos a hospedarnos!
