  Comments: My BEST Airbnb experience yet! The house is beautiful and well situated in a great neighborhood just a short walk from an AMAZING restaurant! The metro is only a short walk away and gets you into the city in about 35 minutes! Savannah was great and very helpful. I'd definitely stay here again! My family and I all had more than enough room in this HUGE home! I always have pretty great experiences when I stay in Airbnbs, but this was by far the best I've ever seen. The value for the amount of space and all the amenities (washer and dryer! Score!) felt like I was let in on a little secret of Brooklyn. Thanks again, Savannah!

  Comments: Very helpful and kind hosts. The place had everything for our week's stay - washing machine, tumbler, open kitchen, lounge space, good bedrooms. Everything worked perfect. Hosts were very quick and responsive.

  Comments: What a lovely home. And huge! We really enjoyed having so much space instead of a cramped city hotel room. The kitchen was a joy to be in and we had everything we needed. We felt like real Brooklynites! Brooklyn has a great vibe, quite different than Manhattan, and worth some time exploring. Williamsburg is a fun place with lots to do. We ended up taking Lyft rides everywhere because we were visiting locals that had certain places they wanted to go, so I can not report on using the subway from this home. Carsten was super helpful as well. Great time had by all.

  Comments: The house is well equipped and of a great size for 2 couples or more. The lounge is comfortable and the kitchen has everything you would need. A short walk from the Metro or an uber/taxi to Manhattan. Check in was easy and Savannah helped us with our bags for a late flight. Great AirBnb!

  Comments: Savannah's place was clean and exactly as advertised. It is a very spacious unit with plenty of room for multiple guests: 2 bedrooms, a pulled out bed, large couch, and 3 bathrooms. She was very easy to contact and communicate with and was very patient with our questions. The outdoor deck area and fenced in backyard was a nice addition to the unit. The place was well equipped with everything we needed for a weekend away in Brooklyn!

  Comments: Cette maison est parfaite pour passer des vacances en famille à New York. Elle est bien située dans un quartier pittoresque et dispose de tout ce qui peut faciliter la vie en vacances. L'arrivée et le départ sont très pratiques. Merci à Savannah qui a accepté de garder nos bagages quelques heures pour que nous puissions profiter de notre séjour jusqu'au dernier moment.

  Comments: We had a lovey stay in Brooklyn. The place was just as pictured, clean, and spacious. The walk to the subway (Utica station) wasn't too far. We didn't use the kitchen but it was lovey and seemed ready to prepare a feast if that's your fancy. We really appreciated the washer and dryer as it was super hot and humid while we visited, so we threw clothes in the washer once we arrived home from exploring for the day. The neighbors were friendly and we felt safe walking anytime, morning and night. Savannah and Carsten were super helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. They also suggested the Honduran restaurant when we requested a recommendation. We ate at Milk and Pull and Natural Blend around the corner on Malcolm X and enjoyed it. We also ate at La Perla Del Ulua a short and cheap Uber or Lyft ride (less than $10) away. The restaurant is authentic Honduran, we enjoyed the carne asada, baleada, and tajeditas con carne. It is cash only and the a service was a little inattentive but the restaurant was slow and the waitress was quick to respond to any of our requests. My Honduran husband was please with the traditional cuisine and we always appreciate being able to get a little taste of home. We would love to stay at Savannah's place again if we were to return to Brooklyn.

  Comments: Great place, really lovely, spacious, beautifully decorated, sweet yard out back. Totally unexpected for New York. Neighborhood is gritty, urban and partly gentrified. We loved it. And loved the restaurant recommendation (Saraghina, for both pizza and for morning pastries). Savannah was a great host and the directions, check-in and check-out were super easy (we had to check in very late). Five stars!

  Comments: Belle maison au coeur d'un "vrai quartier" de Brooklyn. Belle expérience à vivre. Tout le nécessaire est présent dans la maison pour passer un séjour formidable. La petite supérette Healthway située au carrefour en face est parfaite pour gérer le quotidien et compléter les produits frais achetés sur le marché d'Union Square. Deux stations située à 10' (Utica & Kosuscko) permettent d'atteindre le coeur de Manhattan en 40' et de gérer facilement ses déplacements avec les subways directs ou locaux. Nous reviendrons à NYC !!

  Comments: The house is beautifully designed; very comfortable and attractive. The subway network was good and the apartment was a ten minute walk from the station we used. Unfortunately we didn't meet the host or have much contact which was a shame. Otherwise a great stay.

  Comments: Amazing place, first time staying in Brooklyn, we really enjoyed the location. A lot of food nearby chinese, thai, indian, jamaican, indonesian. Subway will take you to manhattan in 30'. The apartment is lovely, clean, silently, safe neighborhood, we did appreciate the washer and drier.

  Comments: Absolutely loved Savannah's place. Pics depicted exactly as her home is and would move into a home like this tomorrow, very quirky and lovely design features. Subway about 15 min walk from house which was no problem in morning but in the evening after shopping / sightseeing felt like a hike. One of the three nights we stayed we had comments made at us by people on the stoops as we passed by which was a little uncomfortable. Really lovely outside area at the house but would benefit by table chairs on the deck as downstairs area felt as if it belonged to downstairs neighbours and weather would encourage outside living which we couldn't experience. The house felt like someone else's home and that we were somewhat intruding, there was food left in the fridge and freezer, yet the dinnerware available was not suitable for 4 guests or cooking dinners. Aircon in house very noisy but nothing good earplugs won't sort out. On our last night there was what sounded like gunshots outside the house with a police helicopter hovering above for most of night and next morning when we left. This may have just been an isolated incident that we were unfortunate enough to happen upon. Putting the negatives aside, we loved the house.

  Comments: Savannah's place is located in the heart of Brooklyn. There are groccery stores near by. It takes a bit long to get into the city because of the traffic. But very easy parking. Thank you!

  Comments: Very big and nice house in a typical neighborhood. We just missed a little more care of the details in the kitchen. We didn't meet Savanah personally but she was very helpful at any time answering our questions.

  Comments: Savannah and Carsten were great hosts!!! If you're heading to a vacation in NYC this Airbnb is a MUST book. The pictures don't do her place justice. It's beautifully decorated, airy, clean and the linens are top quality. The location was perfect for exploring Manhattan, Coney Island, Dumbo, Brooklyn and so much more. Carsten was very helpful to our family of 5 and stopped by to make sure we had enough linens and such. The cot and couch were made up for our boys and turned out to be very comfortable for both of them (each boy is over 6'2ft). The kitchen was perfect for cooking, and the deck/garden area was very nice as well. I can't wait to return to Savannah's and know I will be in my home away from home.

  Comments: Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Savannah. L'appartement est grand et confortable. Le quartier est "pittoresque". Nous n'avons jamais eu de sentiment d'insécurité de nuit comme jour. Il faut près de 35 minutes en métro pour rejoindre le centre de Manhattan, métro accessible en 10 minutes à pied. Nombreux commerces et restaurants à proximité. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Savannah mais nous avons eu une bonne communication.

  Comments: The brownstone was beautiful; huge, bathrooms and kitchen were all updated. It was so nice to have a separate bedroom and bathroom for the kids. Only concern was location. We didn't feel safe walking around at night and had to rely on Uber. Everywhere we wanted to go during the day was quite a walk. We did take the subway into Manhattan one day, but didn't feel comfortable coming back on subway and taking the walk back, so we ubered. Check in and check out was super

  Comments: The place is beautiful. Worked perfectly for us with two bedrooms and three bathrooms. The washer and dryer was a lifesaver, since two of us came from another trip and one was headed on another directly from Brooklyn. Go to Manny's for breakfast -- only a few blocks away!

  Comments: We had a fabulous week staying in Savannah's house, 10 min walk to the subway gave us easy access to anywhere. The local area has plenty of choices for delis and several eating out options within a few minutes walk. THe immediate area was quiet (by NYC standards) and people were very friendly. We didn't meet our host but communications were good and check in and out was easy. The house itself is lovely, my daughter enjoyed playing the piano. the master bedroom was super comfy. the bed in the second double room was quite firm but was fine for us, the single bed in the living room was ideal for our teenage son. We didn't cook but the kitchen was well equipped for anybody who wanted to use it. All in all, a great place to stay.

  Comments: Le logement de Savannah est formidable. Un salon avec un divan hyper confortable, des lits super confortables aussi, 2 salles de bain (dont une pour la chambre des maîtres), une salle d'eau au rez-de-chaussée. Le style de l'appartement est magnifique. Savannah nous a donné de précieux conseils avant d'arriver à New York. Le dialogue avec elle est très simple. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de ses services lors de notre séjour à New York. Le lieu où est situé l'appartement nous a un peu déçu. Le quartier n'est pas des plus accueillant mais tout est sécuritaire. Il ne faut pas se laisser impressionner par ce qu'on voit. Tout le monde est bien sympathique. Mais bon, ce n'est pas encore Williamsburgh, Greenpoint ou Bushwick. L'appartement est situé à 15 minutes du métro. Le soir, après une longue journée de marche à travers la ville, ça peut être un point négatif! Malgré tout ça, je recommande sans hésitation cet appartement.

  Comments: Loved this place! Lots and lots of quirky atmosphere, 10 minutes walk from Utica Avenue Station on the A or C line which takes you directly into Manhattan. The place was super clean, with all amenities as described by Susannah. If you like cooking like me, the kitchen is your dream come true. Cozy, nice and warm in these winter days, we truly enjoyed staying and would love to repeat the stay some time in the future.

  Comments: Das Haus in Brooklyn war genau das, was wir gesucht hatten. Die Bilder beschreiben das Haus ziemlich gut. Die Ausstattung ist super, es lässt sich alles damit kochen. Fast direkt nebenan ist ein kleiner Laden und mehrere Subway Stationen sind in 10 min Laufentfernung. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist großartig.
